Will We Be Seeing You At The 2022 Sales Leadership Summit In Miami? Click Here To Get Your Tickets - bit.ly/3nMkTk7
I would like to be there in 2023 - but I have to work hard to make its possible, cause I’m in Ukraine like arrested by military, and can move to the States just when have U4U invitation. But before we have to fight with gov structures.
i just noticed that sales is a lot like getting girls
dumisani Shadung it totally is man
Im in sales and trust me, learning sales definitely teaches you how to talk to girls.
dumisani Shadung ... LOL... Yea Pretty much.
Girls are much easier than sales trust me
You are basically selling yourself to the girls. So yes, it is very similar.
Patrick and his team i want to say thanks for doing this videos they truly help a lot of poeple.
A sales course would be incredible, especially with this high quality content. There are no good modern sales courses that don't use 90's tactics online that I've found. Thanks for making a difference by using your time to teach others, it's much appreciated.

1. When qualifying a woman, one of the first things I want to find out is if they smoke.
If they do, I’m turned off.
Sir, for someone of your calibre to start a video by admitting your mistakes in the past and sharing it with us, that is amazing and you have my utmost respect. Peace, from Malaysia.
It's hard for people to admit their mistakes, Patrick is setting an amazing example!
My god, you are like the Dale Carnegie of the 21st century!
Oh man! Patrick, you don't know what you're doing to my life. You're beyond amazing...YOU'RE INSPIRING! I'm not flattering you. I mean it. I really do not remember exactly how I stumbled unto Valuetainment, but I've been watching you guys' videos for at least 2 months now & honestly, it's a class. I always learn! I'm just about to climb the ladders of these very tall dreams of mine & I'm trying to constantly self-develop & your videos & channel (as a whole) are really helping me out. One of the tasks I set out to do everyday is to watch at least one of your videos every night before I go to sleep...for the most part I do that. Typically, I watch your videos with a pen & a book to take notes but on nights when I'm too exhausted after the day's work, I just watch the videos without taking notes so that I can at least get the knowledge on the surface & then I come back some other time to the videos & take the notes. Greetings from Nigeria.
Agbo, big props to you in Nigeria. Keep consuming Patrick's content and others like him. There is a lot of opportunity you can bring to your country with these skills! Keep it up.
Thanks Pat and team... It's definitely going to help to to refine my focus in sales.
Top!! Thank you very much for the upload!!
I love Patrick sales videos! Thank you !
I want more please ❤️
Another amazing video Pat! Keep it up!!
Awesome video.
I've done several of those mistakes and I still do some.
Working to improve and get to that unconscious competence level.
Thank you for the video and the tough love Pat.
Truly enjoy your channel. If you do a 10+ hour sales course, I know I will be watching it, and know people who will be very interested as well. It's extremely important for us entrepreneurs to properly sell their product/service if it's truly helping the customer/community. The more information we have, the better we can all be as a whole.
I hope this comment encourages you to start a sales course asap. I have watched many videos from many different people, and yours are some of the best. Thank you for your time.
I love Pat from years ago
Raw entrepreneurial energy
Patrick. I want to sincerely thank you for the amount of value you have been putting out. Has truly been inspiring. Been here since 30k.
Last week I started my own company, it is a scary road to be honest. But one to look forward to.
That's awesome! What kind of company is it? The hardest part is always starting! Good luck with everything :)
Update?

Most of the sales people got hit with bashing the competitor. Pat the G.O.A.T🐑🐑🐑
Proud to say I've made several of these mistakes in my life! Great video Pat and Valuetainment team !

Wow I think that was a totally great video!
Thanks for wonderful content. Need some advice. What sales CRM system do you recommend for a service firm?
This is the only channel where I like the video first and then watch it. That's the trust PBD has created here.
Over a year later and your videos are helping many new sales people such as myself! I am a Sports Agent on the verge of setting up my own company and your videos give me the basic knowledge to make my first signings with clients and sponsors that little bit easier! Thank you
Keep up the amazing work Aidan, how is your business going from consuming all of Patrick's content?
Thank you Brent! A lot has massively changed since I posted that comment three years ago but Patrick's content still provides value to what I do.
@@aidancampbell6155 If no one has told you, PROUD OF YOU! Keep growing everyday !

@@aidancampbell6155 You're welcome!
Excellent content!
Great video pat!
Thank you sir
Another quick and quality video. Nothing revolutionary. Enough to spark the brain and remind a salesman what the day is all about.
I'm not a saleman but learn a lot from you, thanks
Sales is always exciting, it keep you rolling. Sales is fun
Great Video!!
Valuetainment all day!!!
amazing video I really appreciate how you explain your topics, extremely informative!
BLESS UP ONE LOVE ONE ☥☯ U.M.
Awesome video with great tips
Very helpful.
Most definitely. I always thought to myself when dealing with a client “bro, just shut up and hear the person out” then follow up with a light hearted question that leads me to a resolution. So far I’m 50/50 and improving to 55/45
Still watching vintage PBD 6 years later
Love it
i am amazed by results of yo teachings Pat. Thank you from India. :-)
Calculating commissions can cause more stress than you think, good tip!
Awesome video! :)
Very many people that I would say give great advice and think like I do I'm going to have to say you're one of them great job and I'll see you at the top
great video, ready to close more business!
Great video.
I'm sure everybody makes mistakes, but in sales if u keep making mistakes is because something is wrong. I often do that kind of mistakes, but it's even better when someone tell us when we are wrong, so u can 100% sure u must change. I thank Valuetainment for this lesson.
Thank you very much for the information, Pat! Very useful!
I've definitely been culprit to #9 as well. Thanks for the lesson!
Me too
Great video
Can you do another video just talking about qualifying questions and how to bring them up? I am not always sure exactly when and how to bring up more personal questions. Do I just start with it, do I ease them into it, do I hint towards it, do I ask a question that leads to them being forced to answer the question I want to ask, etc? The questions themselves I am less worried about, but the delivery is the key and I would like to know your thoughts.
9th is extremely powerful! not only in sales, all parts of the life where mouth and ears are involved!
I'm going to be in this position very soon. Time to go out and make waves in the industry.
Calculating commissions...so true. That's me!
This guy is a Boss! 😆 Awsome
Is selling in US easier than in the UK? I always hear people saying 5$ or 15$ dollar profit per item they sell, but i never heard something similar in the UK. I live in the UK
May God richly bless you. The value you provide is priceless and you have changed and you continue to change the lives of millions of individuals around the world.
Thank God for the internet and people like this on it.
You're mistakes are awesome
Hi PBD,
Thank you, that was a great video!
I would like to know what do you think about laying in business.
Recently I start to work on real estate company, to learn about sales.
I'm a very honest person, and one of the bosses, that's sometimes it's Ok not say white lays.
I don't believe in it. And I would like to know your opinion about laying. Is it ok to say some small lays???
Great vid. Thank you. So many gems.
I Recently lose a Client because i did not over promise, they had another person saying that they could get their website to the #1 spot organically doing Seo in 1-2 months, i said 3-6 months , and that they would need social media and Ads to be place as well, i know i did the right thing, Google is very strict when it comes to Seo and if you force it, it will get back at you.
Thank you Patrick for making this video, i learn alot from it! keep it up! , We can ! we will!! . #Fownders #Endcu
Endcu LLC over the long run anyway, that business model will not work. Good job for not over promising
I'll be meeting Patrick soon DALLAS :) my home town baby
HARDCORE VALUE HERE !!!! #realtalk
Yar the man!!
Morn'in.. 😁..
Qualify your customers! Never try to sell to someone who has no interest in what you are selling, make sure you qualify them!
Hey Pat. can you make more teenage entrepreneur videos
Thia is clearly intended for commission based sales. Not all salespeople make commission on a sale. I need help with my hourly paid salespeople. I know what mistakes most of them make: Falsifying or repeating false information about a product, not knowing the tech specs of a product, not knowing what is coming out, not understanding the functionality of a product, using opinion to counter a customer's preference, not listening to the customer and not asking questions that get them to the point. It sounds better when the boss isn't telling them these things.
In my humble opinion unless you introduce some commission or bonus structure of they're lazy or shortsighted they won't have the incentive to learn all the product info
You should write a sales book, Patrick. I would be first one to buy it.
Great video Pat! Couldn't help but notice you skipped bashing competition? Would love to hear more on that thanks.
akuma2210 he did go over that topic.
Can you recommend some sales courses Pat ? :)
Can you make a video on how to say “no”
How do I qualify people if I cold call. I am selling software at my startup, I pretty much go to YP and start dialing companies we want to target for example CPA firms. I feel maybe there is better way to get list of companies or do you think I am doing the right thing?
Kestas Masanauskas , don't cold call businesses. They will refuse to listen to you if they are busy. Email them instead. That way they can read the email when their not busy, and it gives them time to come up with a reply.
Negi ir Jūs esate iš Lietuvos?:O :D
My mistake was that I didnt know my job was going to be in sells..I thought I was just going to deal with customers and their issues. I can deal with a million ppl calling me a day and solving their problems..but selling it's so soul draining..I've never been tired of a job this quick ever
I am sorry to hear that Brian, if you want to get better at sale... watch more of these videos or get a coach. BUT if you want to do customer service, maybe you belong in a different job that values your skill set. Keep you head high Brian!
Patrick, this is awesome! I enjoy your sales video most, 'cause it's the aspect of my business I'm working on right now. I will really appreciate it if you will do a video on writting sales script. you've talked a lot about how important sales script is. I want to know how I can design it, use it, and you can possibly give some live example. by the way it's cheering to hear you are proposing to do a workshop on training. keep my finger cross. VALUETAINMENT ROCKS!
Ogunyale Akinola Read Ultimate Selling Power by Donald Moine and Ken Lloyd. Lots of tips on how to script.
GO JOB

Over promising can break both sides of a relationship.
So My company sells a product that is completely unique, we sell a meal in a bag of chips. When demoing Business to Customer everyone asks me "what is in it" or "what is it" and I end up talking for a majority of the time to educate them. We end of selling quite allot in a 3 hour period however so I am kind of confused about 80% 20% rule in this case since every time I only end up asking 1 question, "would you like to try a meal in a chip?". I need advice on the kind of questions I should be asking. Btw these are extremely healthy chips that are raw, organic, gluten free and delicious and we sell to people looking for these things.
Aaron sakamoto that sounds cool dude send me more information
Thanks! We are based out of Viroqua Wisconsin and It is an operation run by my mother, 2 helpers and myself. check out Nami chips on Facebook. There is a link to our online store there along with some info. I am currently working on a introduction video plus a series of info videos so there will be a whole lot more going on with our social media hopefully in the near future. If your very curious however, I would be happy talk to you over the phone.
Additional mistake: UNDERSELLING / “leaving money on the table” assuming that your customer or client doesn’t want the premium package or upgrade(s) and so you don’t even give them them the option. That’s thinking small and often through the lens of your own affordability!
pat , i work in travel agency but People close the call very fast when i say my name !! beside my tone or someone who i offer him and try to get his options and he hang up before i speak
Patrick! you have a small typo in this video: Commission has 2 s's
