Some of the greatest athletes, entrepreneurs and minds, are the people we haven't heard of because at one point they gave up. The process of going from being an underachiever to over achiever is extremely painful, challenging, and annoying but the final product is priceless.

Some of the greatest athletes, entrepreneurs and minds are people no one knows about because at one point they gave up. The process of going from being an under achiever to over achiever is extremely painful, challenging, and annoying but the final product is priceless.
Here are 10 reasons why you should never give up.
    1. It’s easy to find a reason to quit.
No matter how good or bad your life is going, you can always find an excuse to give up. But it works the other way too. If you look for a reason to keep going, you can find that too.
Solution: There are 3 people we go to during tough times. Click here to find out the 3 types of people.
    2. When you quit, you send the message that you never thought you could do it in the first place.
Actions speak louder than words. In the end no matter what they hear you say, people will watch what you do.
    3. Believe it or not, some people will be glad that you quit.
They may not say it, but unfortunately many people you know will hope for you to give up. This is for the simple reason that your dedication to your goal will remind them of their own unrealized potential. Rather than proving your doubters right, let your dedication inspire.
Solution: Here’s a video about the haters in your life.
    4. You’ll never know what would have happened if you stuck it out.
You know what happens if you give up - you end up right where you started. The hard part is having the vision to see the reward that lies at the end of the race.
    5. The consequences of quitting are a lot higher than sticking it out.
No matter how high a price you’ll pay to keep going, the price of abandoning your dreams carries the greater cost.
    6. When you quit, you set a mental precedent to quit again.
Think about a person who has tried to diet and failed several times. Their belief in their ability to lose weight is actually diminished by each abondoned attempt. Quitting and perseverance are both habit forming. Which habit do you want to develop?
Solution: Read this article from business insider on the 11 ways rich people think differently than average people.
    7. Anything worthwhile takes time, sacrifice, and effort.
The more difficult the challenge, the more rewarding the victory. The most meaningful accomplishments in life are those that don’t come quickly or easily.
Solution: Watch the life of an entrepreneur in 90 seconds.
    8. You’re a lot closer than you think you are.
Sadly, many people give up not realizing that success is right around the corner. There are not always clear markers in achieving a difficult goal. The finish line could be just around the next bend.
    9. The process shapes you before success rewards you.
Setting difficult goals will stretch you, teach you perseverance and ultimately build your belief in yourself. It is the process that develops you. Greatness doesn’t come overnight, but it is forged by every inch of progress we fight for in pursuit of a worthwhile goal.
    10. Life is a lot more fun when you’re in the hunt for something.
We only get one life to live. When you’re fighting for a cause, a dream, or something greater than yourself you will find the enthusiasm, passion and joy that makes life a great adventure. The key is identifying your cause. Read 25 laws for doing the impossible to identify your cause. When you start changing you lose your friends, ain't got no friends, girlfriend broke up with me last month, family laughs at me - it always gets uglier before it gets pretty but mark my words I'm going to make it! I'm not pushing myself for nothing. New set of eyes incoming. 18 hours a day everyday is just how it is.

I just turned 20, had dinner all by myself, I don't plan on going back even though it's a lonely road - focus on the goals.
Thank you for sharing your story I really appreciate the support and am glad we could connect.

Yeah I know I'm doing James Altucher's daily practice which includes finding things to be grateful for.
It's never crowded on the extra mile but I know it will pay off.
Thought about attending some meetups, I really wanna find like minded locals, like 5 friends as a cirlce of influence and some mentors even - but again the internet does a great job with that.
Awesome advice, trying to balance everything with working out 5 times a week - feeling energized every morning.
There are just diffiucult times that one has to push through like you mentioned.
Thanks again for all your support I truly appreciate it.

in the past few months, i lose my confidence, the uncertainty, depression, anxiety is real,
i fresh graduate from university and have a passion for business, i can create my own product,
i can design, but the hardest thing is to sell and to market your product
im losing money, im in debt, my family broke financially and trash talk about me and my business every day,
and the more day passed the more i buy the idea of working, so i can at least have a few money
but im see your video, and its open my eye, im very close to get my dream, im very close to dig a
gold, yet im so close to give up and throw up the idea of keep pushing,
today, im going to learn to sell like hell, im only have one ticket to success, im not gonna ruin it
thanks, your video help me a lot, give me motivation on the rough time

I created a start up about 3 yrs ago, I didn't have the right team after I had my first big acct, so I had to shut it down because it started to grow to fast but I couldn't keep up. It was something you said about others not wanting to see you succeed, but by watching you and listening to you talk about the different laws, such as the Law of Attraction etc..., has incouraged me to keep going and start a more successful business, I guess what I am trying to say is, my first business has forced me to keep going on to my next Business. THANK YOU!!!

Everytime along my 5 year entrepreneurial journey everytime it gets so hard and we get set back to near bust, I’m so stubborn I kept telling myself “this is where most people quit”…..”this is where someone else would quit”……
Keep going ya’ll. The climb/build is sooooo hard, but if you have that calling the rewards are worth the pain.

Crying while watching this. I'm 45, lost it all, wife died of cancer, 3 boys to take care of and now living with Mom in 2bed apt. Happened because I got lazy, complacent and thought I had stuff on lock with my business. Thanks Pat for trying to help the downtrodden and those looking for help...

Pat, thank you. I was on the verge of giving up my job. I work in the customer service taking calls. It's really hard. But my supervisor prevented me from doing that. Then she showed me this video. I'm reflecting on my actions. My family never gave me these sort of advice. Only random people. It's hard and scary to go out of my comfort zone but I will do now and won't be scared anymore. Thank you for helping me out, Pat. I will strive to excel in my current work and looking forward to get promoted someday.

"Agitation, frustration etc" these are all things which add to the "Fire in the belly" that people look for in entrepreneurs.
Edit: It bother me more when people say "you can make it" because that makes it sounds easy when it is not.

Dear Patrick: I have been watching youtube videos since it started and never, ever, commented on anything.Just could be bothered. After graduating from college 1995 (in the Netherlands) I became a commodity trader for 10 years. Travelled the world, had a SUPERcharged pipeline of amazing experiences. (good and bad ones - but I would do it all over again in a heartbeat!). Ended up in Singapore kind of on top of my game, then quit because I couldn't resist "the call" anymore for becoming a true entrepreneur. Then I founded a (health food) company in Argentina, which later moved to Europe, and worked on that for another 10 years. Yet again an amazing adventure.... Last month I resigned as CEO/founder and had my partners buy me out. The company went from zero to hero after all the ups and downs that come with it - which is something I will always be proud of. Next stop? No idea yet, but it must, really must, be something that inspires me again AND make use of the previous experiences I have had as an entrepreneur. Anyway....Your amazing content - geared towards existing entrepreneurs, starting entrepreneurs, or people thinking about become entrepreneurs- is MANY times more valuable then anything out there. I am 44 years old now and in the fortunate situation of having the time to work on my next venture in the right context. To think about my strengths, weaknesses, things I like, things I don't like. With enough experience under my belt to be bold and ambitious, but also mooooore then enough mistakes, humiliations and stupidity along the way to force me to be humble, curious and weary of making the same mistakes. The change to have a go at starting something new while augmenting the benefits of my strengths while lowering the negative effects of my weaknesses. I don't even know how I came across your content a few weeks back but became a Valuetainment binge watcher!!! Business concepts in its core can be learned from books, but your way of Digitally Mentoring people you don't even know from your own experiences is truly amazing. Just wanted to get that across as my first ever comment on UA-cam. Power to you.

Will do! Just finished the "top reasons why you might be winging it" video and, when re-evaluating the past 10 years, got a substantially bigger wakeup call then I would have liked. But that's what growing is all about. On step at the time, just not too slow in taking them.

that was the content that I was looking for on this platform, I love it and I can't agree more, entertaining and every second has nothing but value....
a small note I would only mention that I think it could have made the content way more amazing is, if the 10 reasons were written bigger on the board, that was my only note but otherwise you are the best creator that have appeared on this platform for whom are willing to step up.
so thanks a lot for this

The obstacles i am now facing are harder than i imagined and its as if i have hit a wall and cant break it to get to the next step.
