Wow, I didn't realize some of these mistakes were so common. I will pay closer attention to the recordings of my closing calls and review them more in-depth. Thank you for the awesome video Pat. It has helped me elevate my thinking and awareness.

I can relate to this because I made a lot of these mistakes around this time last year. I tried to negotiate with an agent of a model in Japan. I met the model herself and she was amazing. Thing is, I had to deal with her agency and her manager. This is when the lesson began. I went in too hard instead of getting to know the manager. I didn't know as much about the client like I thought I did. Was in the business for myself instead of all parties. Tried to do long term through crappy methods. Took it too personal after it fell through. Took zero interest in the manager's life story (which was interesting after the fact) Was SUPER impatient. As bad as it felt, it was an important lesson for me to learn to get better. Thanks for this, Patrick!
Can you make a video of going in depth about the three options idea? Like 3 options in a vacation home what you're looking for. 3 options deciding on what car to buy. 3 options of what a certain deal can provide you. Etc.
Dan Lok said to invest in something you understand. Plus you need to study the market trends and how a company performs. If one asks about what stock to invest in, then that means, that person is uninformed and did not do his/her research and will probably lose money or gain money through luck.
@@joscmc thank him still? Pat doesn't do crypto and look at the value of crypto now. LoL. Hope you re okay man. 19k down to 3K wow... It will even go worse to $50 ... I will buy that when it goes so low. Thank me later
Great tips, as always. I just can add my trick. Mirror people. If they speak slowly- you slow down. If they fast- you try to speak faster. Thats what I call being on the same wave:-) Always works!
before i head over to the next valutainment video, i have to say; what Pat just delivered here is pure gold. if you are planning on running a big $ biz (like I am), then learn this stuff.
Great video with the most usual negotiation mistakes people make. I personally think that most people talk too much, trying to out-negotiate the other side. Pat mentioned the mistake of not listening, and I would add another one related to this: People too often break the silence, which means when they say their offer, instead of being silent, they continue talking to justify it, and by doing it they achieve exactly the opposite result - the offer loses credibility.
Number 13 I will admit is extremely important. Burning a bridge might feel good st the moment but what feels better is potentially benefiting down the road.

Love your videos I'm trying to start my own business but have never run a business, Should I work for someone else first to get experience? I don't want to work for anyone else I'm tired of someone else controlling my paycheck, I want to start a different kind of business that no one around me is doing, that's my leverage no competition. What would you suggest? I have little cash to start
I try to watch your videos before I go to the gym trying to work towards a goal at the gym and your videos really motivate me to do more, and helping me with more things for my future.
man all these regulations ,,, that I'm only 15 years old and wanna be part of a business. its stopping me from learning sometimes...I dont wanna wait for a certain age ...📚🙏🔥🔥🔥love your stuff Patrick
Pat,you are the best my man.. it's so wise and so awesome of you to share all these things with us..And most importantly for free!. Thanks a lot man.. I wish I can repay you back or the society in some way or the other..
I really like #13 trying to beat the other person. It’s interesting because you can screw the other person down as much as possible, but how do you get the best long term arrangement?
Hey Pat, I’m interested would you be willing to do an update on this video or go into more length about this topic from some examples/case studies. Love your work mate!
It's the former Marine again. Love your vids and I share them as well. I go to school full time and started my mobile detailing business that also donates to the troops. I'm learning to close sales I just started a UA-cam channel to get attention but my question is to scale a profitable business is it just promoting and building relations and selling daily? For the survival stages for 2plus years?
I don't like how some people like to negotiate while drinking alcohol. I went to a law office and they had armoire with alcohol and offered me a drink. Or people talk about the situation over brews and Jack Daniels... Or Herradura or whatever. Bad idea.
Haters and jealous people I guess. Can't find a single reason to hate on these free videos myself tbh, some people could ask for money for these jewels PBD is dropping on a weekly basis.
You didn't even have to ask me to hit the like and subscribe buttons and 3 minutes in I smashed tf outta them. Perfect delivery of information. Thank you Pat!
Good negotiators read people and can emphasize their feelings/reasoning. Plus use systems to program them/get to the right place/mindset. Once you learn to emphasize and use strategies to convince others for greater good - miracles happen.
mdaxe, thank you very much for the feedback ! I got my hands on a copy of Dale Carnegie as of now, thank you I will reach into each title you mentioned. Cheers !
Hey Pat! Great as usual, but there's really no solution on how to go about that mistake number one. Will be glad if you can clarify that better. Thanks
