    I have a 2011 Buick Regal with 108,693 miles. It was running fine until suddenly, it wouldn’t go into "Drive" anymore. When I shift to "Drive," it feels like it's in "Neutral"-the engine runs, but the car doesn’t move. However, "Reverse" still works perfectly.
    There were no warning signs before this happened; it just stopped going into "Drive" from one day to the next. My basic OBD scanner shows no error codes.
    Could this be a solenoid issue, a problem with the valve body, or something more serious like the torque converter or clutches? I’d appreciate any advice you can offer.

    @doingstuffwithdylan4367 Thanks for this helpful video! Educated guess, its a Gen2 6T70? I Have a 2014 Lacrosse with 120k. For the last 25K it has a bad shudder in the 2-3 upshift, only when up to op temp. If i manual shift 1-2 and 2-3 taking the Rs above 4 it rarely happens. I bought a 50k Tranny from the same car. I have never torn into a tranny before. I am mechanical and my BiL is very mechanical, works on cars for lots of folks including motor and trannt swaps. I have serious questions. Q1: Should i use orig tecm and put new seals in the solenoids or should i use the new one, reseal and reprogram? Q2: Valve body...when i look at these online they stipulate an upper and or lower valve body. Is is a sandwich or are there actually 2 in separate locations? Q3: Valve body... i want to put a kit in it, clean and replace wear parts, there are several out there by several makers. Can you tell me if this is easy or difficult for someone who has never done it, whats the best choice here? Q4: the torque converter: my guess is use the new on with lower miles, can it be drained and filled before i swap these trannies?

    I have no first gear. It goes in first moves 5ft then goes into neutral. Will shift through the rest using my autel scanner. You think the valve body could be the issue?

    Hi, the seals on the TEHCM are blowened so I'm replacing with the latest GM TEHCM, Computer included. Will I need to program with a Tech 2? Or will it just plug and play? Ty

      Thanks for the quick reply... So I should reuse the same computer to avoid the programming??

      You can try to reuse the techm if you can’t program. If it is good, it should work, but they do have problems with us sometime.

    At what point do you just do this, my car is shuddering at 40 and 60 mph. Everyone is wanting to simply replace my transmission and not just certain components?
