- 20 Min Abs & Arms | Pilates for Weight Loss & Strength 28 Day Challenge Day 19
This is a beginner friendly 20 Min Pilates arms and abs workout, with the additional of dumbbell weights. This workout combines arm exercises from strength training and ab exercises from pilates to make a killer 20 min workout!
If you don't have dumbbells you can use:
* 2 water bottles (1 16.9oz bottle is approximately 1 lb)
* 2 glass jars of sauce (1 24oz jar is approximately 1.5 lbs) or
* 2 cans (1 16oz can is approximately 1 lb).
My goal is to select exercises that challenge and strengthen you enough to stimulate change in your body. Whether your goal is strength, pilates for weight loss, or "toning"/ "sculpting", it is important to feel challenged in the workouts you select. If this workout does not require much effort for you, you can repeat rounds or add additional weight as mentioned above. If your goal is weight loss or toning/sculpting, a calorie deficit is necessary, as exercise alone can not shrink or "tighten" any area. Whatever your goal is, I hope you find my workouts are easy to follow, challenging, and enjoyable!

Day 19 done! 55 yo lady who is slowly finding the fact she still has abs in there! Still a ways to go but so many things I can do that in the first week I just could not! It's not pretty but my goal is to do this challenge again doing all the moves correctly and all of them 😊 thanks Rachel ❤️ I won't like wall sit days I may be saying no please no more ...but I do it because I want to be strong 💪 and you are helping me ❤

IT ME 55 YO DAY 28 🎉 I cannot believe this was on day 19...I was able to do all the exercises! Now being honest...the legs bent out up down I only did 4 break then 2 more...what I was MOST excited about this whole challenge I could never go from my knees up onto my toes ...I am heavy so it's a lot to lift..embarrassing but this is my accountability so it all out here lol I did them!!! I did them all! The push up one I don't think my body was as straight out as it should have been but I am almost crying I did them....Rachel the first time I saw you do that I was like ...wait WHAAAT is she doing I tried it and nothing happened I couldn't lift anything...I did them all today 🥹 thank you so much!!! I didn't have a ball but tried to hold my position as if I did....now what...hmmm do again? Or wall . Or both!? Hmmm I am so happy I cannot say thank you enough my life is still a mess but my mental and physical health is so much stronger to combat that...and im going to keep going and turn it all around cause I'm stronger 💪💕

Thanks for another great workout! I have an autoimmune disease and my body gets really stiff and tired. Your workouts have been the only thing that makes my body feel good and I don’t feel super tired afterwards ❤.

Day 18 done! Abs was extra hard today, my cat decided he needed cuddles, during it. So an extra 15 pounds was on my chest❤😂
