I've always stood this way. Going to make some of those adjustments. Again, thank you!

Hi Juliette! The cork yoga block is ok temporarily. It is not the same density as our wooden blocks, and the sharper edges and pointy corners would not feel good.
Hi Chie, thank you for reaching out. In order to get a Block, you must purchase the Starter Package. This includes everything you need to learn and begin doing Block Therapy. I will link it here: blocktherapy.com/product/block-therapy-starter-package/
We always want to maintain a slight bend in the knee - even when walking. We want to prevent our knees from locking or hyperextending so we can integrate our muscles, tendons/ligaments and fascia into every step. Hope that helps 😃
Inner knee fat is the same as the accumulation of tissue above the knee from the perspective of the joints collapsing. This causes balloning of tissue on the equal and opposite side of the collapse. This process will realign and create cell migration back to correct alignment.
Hi, I believe this is the video we were referring to, discussing the concept of rooting in posture: ua-cam.com/video/GHUP9fAvvoY/v-deo.htmlsi=Pwv-qOMjmcPSU2b-
I hav seen some other videos for inner knee fat removal ...apparently those exercises help release inner thigh fat. But the thing is I am already skinny but my knees are really bulky on the inside making my lower legs look discontinuous from my thigh. Will doing these exercises work even for skinny people?
Doing these exercises/positions helps bring your body back into proper alignment no matter your weight. As your body shifts back into alignment, you'll notice changes in these areas!
Hi there! With the purchase of the Starter Program you receive a Block of your choice. Here is the link for you! blocktherapy.com/starer-package-store/
This makes a lot of sense to me but I’ve also seen videos that say the cause is loss of collagen and elastin. Any idea how long it takes to see a difference following your protocol?
Hi Mary, thank you for the comment! Everyone experiences changes at a different rate. It all comes down to correcting your alignment and staying consistent with Blocking!
Hi! Here are a couple of videos that we have made in the past regarding sitting posture: ua-cam.com/video/9vwF_rlKIys/v-deo.html ua-cam.com/video/SSoiq6Tbdwo/v-deo.html I hope this helps!
We want to address all areas in the knees, pelvis, legs and feet. You can definitely work the area behind the knees to release the compression and ballooning so the connective tissue can start to migrate back to its correct alignment. Standing with a slight bend in the knees and following the tips in the video will also help with the displaced tissue at the back of the knees :)
Yes! Knee fat on the side is also a combination of displaced fascia. Releasing the fascia and integrating this exercise/action will help to re-align the fascia and the knee joints.
Yes, it is safe to do Block Therapy with this condition. The only change you would make is if the belly position is too painful. If this is the case, begin each class with the side ribs instead - over time this will soften the cage and take pressure out of the abdomen. You can also lay on your back and apply the weight of the Block more gently on your belly that way. In time, the belly work will be accessible and will melt the scar tissue and reintegrate the cells. Any other position in Block Therapy (legs, arms, etc.) is also completely safe and encouraged.
I stand all day and have that on the inside if my knees and thighs. Can you please show how to release fascia in theses areas. Thank you. The relief from the fascia release is amazing. The discomfort is so worth it!
We are beginning a 21 Day Program targeting the pelvis, legs and feet in June that would be wonderful to release tension in the knees and thighs. Let us know if you have any questions!
Hi, good question! No, there is no limit to how Block Therapy work can be done in a day. Respect your limits, and if it feels like too much, take a break! But if it feels right, you can keep going for as long as you like.
Hi! Yes, knock knees is akin to pronation, it's kind of an extreme form of it. When the arches collapse the knees fall inward and the whole calf twists. The fascia is going to be twisting very strongly in the calves, knees, and all the way up the chain. Block Therapy can release this incredible adhesive force, and we also have some great classes in the Membership which retrain the alignment of the legs and feet.
Hi there. Our Block is specifically formulated to be the same density as bone, which is what allows it to melt adhesions in the fascia so effectively. We do have a Sampler Program that is completed with a towel so that one can experience Block Therapy before purchasing the Block, but we cannot recommend other tools for our system. Let us know if you have any other questions!
Dear same but I have fat on midline above dide of knee towards midline u know ,what u show exactly same line but near midline and it is a huge bulge my weight is 59 with 36 age but fat just above side of knee towards midline plz explain for it's correction
Hi there! As Deanna says, the full body approach is best, but standing properly as described in the video is one thing you can incorporate into your every day life to help.
@@E, aww, I doubt others think this about your legs. Every time you feel they’re ugly, please say, “I love my legs-they work and allow me to walk and run!” Not everyone has legs that work well. That’s soo much more important than how they look! I hope this helps! 😊
Hi there! It comes down to knowing how to stand properly to support our foundations. If we hyper extend our knees we lose the foundation of the tissue above causing loose and bunching tissue. You can learn about this and much more in our Starter Program. The Starter Program comes with: - Block Buddy - 9 classes of various lengths that cover the entire body - Educational videos - pdf's of all positions - Breast and Lung Health virtual intensive - Access to the free monthly classes - A 14 day free trial in the membership All of the above is yours for life, with the exception of the free trial in membership. Hi, yes, cellulite is one way that adhesions in the fascia show up on the surface of the body. The more you follow and practice the principles of proper lower body alignment and fascia decompression, the more the body will be able to release these adhesions!
Hi! Though we cannot give exact dimensions, the Block Buddy is slightly smaller and shorter than a traditional yoga block. Its edges are also much rounder. You can see it in more detail here: ua-cam.com/video/qCNlG8GVkyg/v-deo.html&lc=Ugzjqh4FzolqLQKaDzx4AaABAg
This varies for everyone! When you find pain, try to remain here and breathe for a minimum of three minutes to allow the adhesions to break down. Only push your body as far as it feels comfortable.
Hi Natalia! When you are standing with a slight bend in your knees, it doesn't need to be a dramatic bend at all. All we are exaggerating is the importance of not hyperextending your knees or keeping them locked, as this causes the pelvis to internally rotate and throws off the alignment of the body! I hope this answers your question! :)
Hi! Im wondering that do you need to try also walk differently or is it just standing position you need to pay attencion. Because as a tought it feels hard to think walking if knees should be little bent at all times 🤔😅 thanks.
Hi there! Absolutely, we need to pay attention to how we walk and stand. When we are walking we should naturally have a slight bend in the knees, but don't overthink it! Try to keep your toes forward and see if it makes a difference for you!
That would be hard as I imagine you are not only standing still, but doing things. As long as you are conscious about your stance and correct it more often then not. We can only do our best to be as "proper" in our posture, stance etc...
Great video. Yes I've done this a few times now and see improvement already. Question though. I now have a hard bulge above the knee I'm assuming that's the fascia. The more I do it will that go away or keep moving upwards? Thanks Guys
Things will continue to change as you work this this. You are pulling the cells back to a more correct alignment with the combination of the releasing and shifting your foundation.
Yes this can - Block Therapy puts the space back into the tissue and the joints to re-align the cells. Fascia migrates from incorrect alignment overtime - this is addressed in this practice.
hi quick question, how long does it take to get rid or knee fat and please don't just give me the link just tell about how long it takes about. And another question, the longer you stand in that way, do you lose more fat in that area? Thanks so much!
Hi! This is a good question and I wish I could give you an official estimate but the fact is it depends very much on the individual! I would recommend doing this position a couple of times per week and practicing the posture whenever you are standing. Check your progress over a month and you are likely to see visual change! Addressing your second question, it's not about losing fat necessarily. Standing properly after releasing the fascial adhesions encourages the cells, including fat cells, to be more properly distributed around the joint. This helps the knee look better and reduces stress. So yes, the longer you work on it, the better it will get!
My search was for the inner fat of the knee and this was the first that popped up. I’ve been juicing my Mean Green juice by Joe Cross. I’ve shed fat and my longtime muscles are finally being exposed, but that inner section of my knees are pretty stubborn. Any suggestions?
Hi there, thank you for reaching out! We refer to this inner section as displaced fascia, where the tissue has migrated due to things such as our posture and the way we walk. If you are new to Block Therapy and would like a taste of what we have to offer, I would suggest starting with our Sampler Program! It includes 9 instructional videos you can do at home by using a rolled up towel as your tool. If you are interested in learning more, I will link the Sampler Program for you here: blocktherapy.com/sampler-program/
Hi Robyn! The "fat" on the inside of the knees is actually displaced fascia. As you begin to bring your body back into proper alignment, you'll notice a big change in the shape of your legs and you'll start to see the displaced fascia move away from the inner parts of your legs. I hope this helps! :)
Hi, yes, it will over time with consistent work! The added practice of fascia decompression will make change faster, but this in itself can make a big difference. Keep us updated and feel free to ask more questions as you go.
Hi, good question. Cellulite is adhesions in the fascia that are caused by twisting and collapse over time. I would definitely recommend trying this exercise! While it is no magical cure, the more we can release our fascia and strengthen a proper alignment, the grips of cellulite will be allowed to release as well.
It's the posture that is hereditary and with Block Therapy we create change to the posture by releasing the adhesions locking the knee join into hyperextension.
I lost about 50 lbs my knees already had a few wrinkles ... now after olsing my weight my knees are really wrinkled will this exercise help with wrinkled knees?
Yes, absolutely. The loose skin is due to the tissue being pulled out of alignment, it needs to be reintegrated back to where it naturally should be. Our fascia decompression techniques will help as well, to release the adhesions that are holding you out of alignment! I hope this helps, let us know if you have any other questions as you go.
We consider these deposits of fat to be primarily displaced fascia, twisted out of alignment as our posture collapses over time. While it took time to develop and so will take much time to release, Block Therapy will be most beneficial for targeting the cause sites to this. We have a 21 Day Pelvis, Legs, and Feet program in our Membership that has been the most beneficial to our community in making noticeable changes to their lower body alignment.
Hey there Amy, I'm not entirely sure what this means. Can you message Deanna - deanna@fluidisometrics.com and she will be able to assist you? Have a great day!
Is it my imagination or was it not actually explained here how to do the exercise? I see something happening but I can’t tell what he’s doing. Is he just laying there kind of planking with his knee on the block? Some of us need more explanation because I can’t tell what is happening here. I replayed it like 4 times and didn’t hear anything.
Hi there! Same idea. The tissue has migrated and we want to help move it back to where it belongs. Proper stance is a start. Adding in the blocking will have the most impact. You could start with the Sampler for only $9. This allows you to try the concept before you buy. Here is the link: blocktherapy.com/sampler-program/
If you have a Block, you can work the insides of the legs. If you do not have a Block, you can also work the insides using a rolled up towel! Pay attention to the way you stand and walk. Once you begin to stand/walk in proper alignment, you will notice a change in the sides and shape of your legs. You may experience pain at first as the body is not used to this, but we must find pain to get out of pain. You will eventually notice the tissue displacement will migrate and your pain will subside.
Wow but PLS READ.. I realised as an adult that the bad stance and an autistic person, that is seen and an very common autistic stance and now I’m past. My mid 30’s and just realised and watching this just realised Omg no wonder I’ve always had this but NOW my issue is that it’s travelled down the inner knee and made ugly little say 1 inch or so in circumference, little pockets. And I wonder with the length of time it’s never been addressed having not known, if I can actually lose that. Like I’ve been tiny in size and that’s kinda always been there; just didn’t look like the worst thing on the world when you’re tiny but now I’m trying to lose recent weight gain to to a 2 year illness.. and yea they’re on that spot, like they migrated 🙊 😅, any ideas ? Thanks 🙏 a lot!
Hi Becka! Working in these areas will help migrate this tissue back over time. The more you perform these exercises/positions and work in and around the legs, the faster you will begin to see results. Everyones bodies are different so there is no set amount of time, but as you really dedicate time to bringing everything back into alignment the changes will follow! I hope this answers your question!
Hi there! If you are looking to dive into the Block Therapy practice, I suggest starting with the Sampler Program ($9 using a rolled up towel) or the Starter Program ($147 with your choice of a Block Baby or Block Buddy). Both programs take you through classes with Deanna and Quinn in real time!
The fat is not on top. But on the side of my knees. So big that I never show my legs. If I wear knee length socks or boots, the keep falling down because of that knee fat that creates an unregular leg 😢 shape
This is migrated tissue. You need to work your lower body, from your feet upwards to address this. You can start with the toe work If you are unfamiliar with the toe work, here is a video to explain: ua-cam.com/video/9Y0yejRjP88/v-deo.htmlsi=zVchxvJmD2uYuJQ1
It is caused from a displacement of fascia from standing improperly. As we correct our alignment and practice standing with correct posture, you will notice the area begin to transform.
Hi Marlene, many people experience this as well. I would suggest trying this from your bed. The pressure may not be as intense depending how cushioned your bed is, but this would be a great place to start!

What about fat on the inside of the knees??
Hi Robyn! The "fat" on the inside of the knees is actually displaced fascia. As you begin to bring your body back into proper alignment, you'll notice a big change in the shape of your legs and you'll start to see the displaced fascia move away from the inner parts of your legs. I hope this helps! :)
My 'fat' is on my inner knee area. Will this exercise make a difference to that? Thanks
Hi, yes, it will over time with consistent work! The added practice of fascia decompression will make change faster, but this in itself can make a big difference. Keep us updated and feel free to ask more questions as you go.
Thank you 😊
Does this help get rid of cellulite DIMPLES? I have a really bad cellulite dimple above my knee and it ruins my self confidence I feel so ugly
@@Fluidisometrics thank you for replying ❤️
Can this help osteoarthritis?
Yes it can - we filmed a video specifically on arthritis that you can view here: ua-cam.com/video/PKeKSb3Pyw4/v-deo.html :)
My mom and grandma and I all have these fat knees. If it's not fat, wouldn't that be pretty coincidental?
It's the posture that is hereditary and with Block Therapy we create change to the posture by releasing the adhesions locking the knee join into hyperextension.
@@Fluidisometrics thanks for your response! I am curious. 🙂
I have fat on the inside of both knees that make my knee area look deformed. Is there any exercise that will reduce this? Thank you.
Any suggestions to help medial knee garbage?
Hey there Amy, I'm not entirely sure what this means. Can you message Deanna - deanna@fluidisometrics.com and she will be able to assist you? Have a great day!
But it looks kinda weird and I don't feel free dose it fix over time.?
Yes, this is a practice that takes time and consistency to see change :)
I'm sorry, are you able to hear any volume during the video? Or you have audio but need a more in depth explanation?
Any advice for over 60 inside knee bulge?
Hi there! Same idea. The tissue has migrated and we want to help move it back to where it belongs. Proper stance is a start. Adding in the blocking will have the most impact.
You could start with the Sampler for only $9. This allows you to try the concept before you buy. Here is the link:

My knees are fat! More on the inside than top. It's is painful , I have one art In it I jack it looks the same. What should I do to shrink this fat?
Sorry but, nobody stands kneecaps pushing out like that. It looks like those aliens from Charlie Sheen movie 😂😂
The idea is to have a slight bend in the knees so they are not locked.
Can you show all the exercises to do daily and address fat in side of knees e. inner knees
Hi there! If you are looking to dive into the Block Therapy practice, I suggest starting with the Sampler Program ($9 using a rolled up towel) or the Starter Program ($147 with your choice of a Block Baby or Block Buddy). Both programs take you through classes with Deanna and Quinn in real time!
Finally - this took me 10 years thank you thank you thank you!
I always knew it’s not „fat“
❤
Thank you for watching!
The fat is not on top. But on the side of my knees. So big that I never show my legs. If I wear knee length socks or boots, the keep falling down because of that knee fat that creates an unregular leg 😢 shape
This is migrated tissue. You need to work your lower body, from your feet upwards to address this.
You can start with the toe work If you are unfamiliar with the toe work, here is a video to explain:

@@Fluidisometrics thank you so much ! I'll do it
❤❤❤ thanks 😊
You're welcome 😊
I've heard that knees become like that because of overweight but what if Ur not overweight but u have those knees what that mean?
It is caused from a displacement of fascia from standing improperly. As we correct our alignment and practice standing with correct posture, you will notice the area begin to transform.
Ya yea🙄
We have seen many changes through our Blocking community! Feel free to check out our website for some transformations!
I can't get down there bad knees.
Hi Marlene, many people experience this as well. I would suggest trying this from your bed. The pressure may not be as intense depending how cushioned your bed is, but this would be a great place to start!
U guys wanna get rid of it I want it 😢
Then rest on the bone like they demonstrate not to
Then y u here
That isn't the fat I am having trouble with. I have fat hanging on the side of my knee that makes me look knock kneed
Keeping the knees bent with proper alignment in the legs will stop the ballooning of fascia at the sides of the knees. I hope this helps!
I'm confused
How can I help?
Yes and they use that "fat' measurement at gyms to measure BMI. So wrong.
Doesn't look cool for my lower back
You can definitely use a pillow under your belly or ribcage for support!
Don’t understand these people, why couldn’t she get a model with the problem
Too much unnecessary explanation not enough exercising...
Thank you for the tip!
People are LAZY to listen and learn...this channel gives golden information for FREE and takes the time to explain WHY you have to do something as opposed to only explaining WHAT to do...the WHY makes it so much easier to stick to the 'excercise' because you now know WHY you have to do it. Stop BEING LAZY OF MIND or go and play with your legos.
