When I show my friends Polyphia's music for the first time, I show them this song not because of the musical chops; rather, to tell them that they are a group of old women whom changed the guitar scene forever.
This video honestly has such wholesome vibes to me. A lot of elderly people love to spend time with younger people so I feel like they probably had so much fun filming this.
LET's be real, this is actually a god tier video, the pacing, the shots, the energy, it's memorable as fuck. HILARIOUS MEME, yes, but also serious work of technical beauty! perfect band really.
I love their scooter skills. They drive better than 90% of Wal-Mart scooter "drivers". And more than one of the could fit down an aisle at the same time.
Been listening to shred tunes for 30 years. This is one of the best I’ve ever heard if not the best. What sets these guys apart is not the absurd skill but the songwriting .... there’s a world of capable shredders out there, hardly any can pen tunes this good.
The worst is in that way one of their best songs in my opinion. It really showed where they were headed in terms of style. With riffs that bounce up and down the neck with all the dynamics you can think of like harmonics, slides, double stops, you name it. So distinctive.
Honestly what makes me happiest about this video is: these grannys had the day of their life you can really see it in their eyes, they're having so much fun. I find it so awesome that Polyphia gave them this opportunity.

Strongly disagree. Best part of the song by far is that riff with the sweep up on the 14-19th frets. The part playing literally like 2 seconds before 1:50.
After listening to like 5 songs from these guys for the first time ever... I still can't tell if every bass line is layered with an 808 or something. I swear that's not just a bass guitar booming through like that. I'm def no expert but hell man if I can get a bass to sound that amazing I may convert from everything I've ever loved to just bass.
