- In this video I show you how to solve the problem of the lack of full return of the piston of the hydraulic clutch cylinder of a KAWASAKI GPZ 900 R NINJA "TOP GUN", which gives an uncomfortable symptom in which the motorcycle remains somewhat clutched during a while releasing the clutch way. the feeling is similar to when the brake caliper pistons do not fully return and the bike stays a bit slow when you push it, for example. The solution is to give proper maintenance to the cylinder of the clutch or also "misnamed" slave cylinder of the hydraulic clutch, replacing the retainer, the spring and performing a comprehensive cleaning of all the components of the cylinder; cylinder, piston and pipes.
It belongs to a series of videos on the commissioning and comprehensive maintenance of the legendary Kawasaki GPZ 900 R NINJA.
This unit in particular is from the year 1990, the last series of the successful production (model A7) that lasted from 1984 to 1992. It currently has 28,000 km. It has been owned by a single owner and is in exceptional condition, but has been idle since 2000.

Muy bien explicado , lo pondre a prueba , tampoco sabia que se podria quedar pegado la bomba hidraulica , cambie discos y me persistio el problema , ya estaba sacando concluciones que podria ser la bomba , le haré una limpieza y vere como resulta.gracias por el video .
A mi con la limpieza no me terminó de funcionar bien, tuve que comprar el kit de reparación (goma y muelle unos 25€) para que me volviese a funcionar perfecto.

Pues si que estaba muy guarro el cilindro...pasa bastante estas cosas y mas aun en los embragues que llevan hidráulico mineral que se genera una pasta y que por mucho que cambies el liquido no se limpia... en clase me explicaron que lo negro que se ve en estos sistemas hidráulicos es la goma de las toricas y que también pasa en los latiguillo y conductos antiguos que son de caucho ...von el tiempo se reduce la sección y pierdes capacidad de pedal... un saludo

Buen video y aclaración de posible avería . Una pregunta , podría llegar a quedarse el pistón embragado del todo y que no retorne a su posición? Me acaba de pasar lo siguiente : meto primera y nada , entra perfectamente la marcha pero sueltas embrague y no hay tracción, pasa lo mismo con cualquier marcha . Pensé que sería el embrague ya gastado del todo pero ahora que acabo de ver tu video me pregunto si podría ser esto . La mia es una zzr 1100. Muchas gracias por los videos y un saludo !
Mi otra duda esa barra que esta dentro del motor no sale, es porque se me quedo en primera y por eso no sale, o como quiera debería de salir?

Gracias amigo a mi me pasa que el bombin de la manilla no vuelve como que no tiene presion revisare la bomba que empuja la barilla esa misma que revisaste en el video gracias nuevamente amigo mi moto es una honda shadow vt1100 año 86 y los repuestos no los encuentro aca en Chile😢😢😢

Tengo una Vulcan 1500 2004 cuando va andando y suelto el clutch sin acelerar me suena un zumbido será esto lo que necesite mi moto??? De antemano gracias

Tengo una moto con ese embrague lo que hace mi moto es que Cuando esta fria o en neutral prendida la palanca de clutch vibra cuando la acciono alguna solucion
Revisar todo el sistema de embrague por completo y sustituir los elementos desgastados como pudieran ser los discos de embrague en su caso. Un saludo.
