- Today we're checking out the Jomox ModBase 09 MkII presets. It's pretty similar to the MBase11 with the added bonus of CV inputs in eurorack format. Overall impressions are that the sound is good and true to the Jomox sound. It will be a powerful kick drum module. I picked mine up from the folks at www.DetroitModular.com, my favorite place to get modular gear.
Thanks for watching, please comment and subscribe.
If you want the no frills no commentary version go to: • Jomox ModBase 09 MkII ...
nice video got 1 on pre order same after seeing surgeon talk about it what a legend
Damn… dat sequencer
Your videos are hitting my sweet spot ..while I have to wait for my emergency fund to replenish before I expand my rack once again.
Congrats on all...
Thanks for the video
dope dope
Your reactions to each kick preset is epic lol. Specifically P42 😂
Are you in Michigan? There’s a secret discount if you go to the store in person. Trent told me in person that this is the hardest hitting most variable kick module in existence.
Untill I can afford it, I will just watch this video often
looks great! how do you like the cirklon? I have plenty of eurorack sequencers but not sure if worth getting a cirklon.
Hey OM,
What did you end up using to help make the modbase mkII sound better in post? I just got one and it's such a strong kick. That I'm finding it difficult to get it to sit right in the live mix. Thanks
I picked one up last week and love it, however I cannot seem to figure out how I properly store (and recall) from the 10 user presets - any hints there? The manual is so brief on the subject..
got the erica be replaced ? nice overview btw :D
88 is the best (808 kick)
It sounds great but the top end is too similar on most presets.
Then it thru shermans restyler...:D
Hm. Half of those sounded unusable (what is this high pitched beep doing in a kick), the other half was pretty nice. Should I spend 370 Euros on a kickdrum? Damn. But there are not that many options out there...
