Thanks very much. I really appreciate you sharing your knowledge.
The accent, I have struggled to get that working.
The lfo stuff, super easy, after seeing you use it. The manual is confusing.
    Keep on rocking

Do you ever mess with the compressor?

@@borisborisov500 never, because I use other compressors. But I will try it soon

@@richardeasel Now I'm getting the hang of the menu, after seeing your video, I tried the compressor. Push page button until the led is red. Go down to "Compr" and then turn the rotary dial (The main dial for changing drums.) The compressor only affects the "decay stage" volume, not the transient kick. There is only one setting. As you turn the dial up, it lowers the decay volume. External compressor seems the way to go. (To be fair, tha manual states it's to help balance the decay based upon the room you're playing in, or the mix. Thought I'd share here, just in case anyone else reads this thread.

Oh so the bass rumbles in your rack is just the kick with LFO modulation? That's crazy, I assume you had another sound source for the rumble!

I currently have a copy of the kick, running into an fx aid algorithm with both delay and reverb, then into a pico dsp drive, then filtered with a steve's ms22 to remove the highs, while the hipass knob is used to emphasise the sub frequency.
I wonder if I can just do away with all of that if I now use the lfo like Richard showed in the video.
Tha ks again for the video, super helpful

At the moment it’s made with the kick but I used to play short kicks with the sy0.5 as sub. I’m shifting to longer kicks and higher tones with the sy0.5, just to explore new horizons

Does anyone know if it is possible to save the master parameters? What I mean is, I have went in and adjusted the Accent sensitivity (which according to the manual is a master parameter) but then I switch the case on and off, and the accent strength has reset itself.

Thanks for sharing. I also had trouble with the accent, it‘s not very intuitive.

Thanks for making this quick tutorial. Best eurorack kick module, shit user interface. I agree about the cv inputs. Internal lfo makes them redundant. They should’ve left the cv controls out and charged a little less for the module.
