TheMissbaker,
If you believe this guy, then I have a bridge to sell you! A sucker is born everyday!
I don't know what you are on about. Everything Gupta says is backed by tons of scientific research. There's not even any debate about the importance of magnesium or the fact most of us are lacking it.
I have learned more from youtube doctors than I ever have from doctor visits.
Lol.... What does that say about doctors?? You're right. I agree.
so true and so sad. "medicine" is slowly falling due to technology thankfully.
Me too!
Frank Shattuck Oh my hell! Absolutely agree. You have to research and learn on your own and then tell the doctors what you want. It’s so crazy!!
Same, we know our own bodies so know when something isn’t right but most doctors in the UK say ‘oh you have anxiety’ err no I don’t, you talking shite and not having a clue is giving me anxiety, I have healed myself slowly from you tube chiros, physios and like this doc, i have been taking magnesium for nearly a month now and I feel so much better and yes my sleep has improved 100% which alone makes you feel better the following day 💪🏻
Nice to see a doctor talk about nutrition instead of drugs, keep up good work.🙏

My pulse was over 100 for years, and not one doctor told me how to solve it. I saw one of the videos of Dr. Gupta and tried magnesium. Problem solved in a matter of days.
Can you point me to that video? Thanks.

Great to hear from a cardiologist and a cardiologist who cares about patients getting relief before falling to worse heart conditions. I found out about magnesium by accident about a month ago. Taking glycinate 400mg. Feel much better.
May I know the brand ?
I’m 77 and my eldest daughter is 59. We have been sharing our experiences with different supplements and healthier options for some time now. She has been able to wean herself from all medications and recover from fibromyalgia after 10 years. I am able to do more and feel better than I have in years. Magnesium has been a big help among many other supplements. Also we both sleep on grounding sheets and spend time barefoot outside. My daughter commented that she felt like she had been in a tunnel for 10 years!! Thank you for your information and advise. ❤
Jeannethellen, can you please share what kind of magnesium you take ,thanks
I have hear of the grounding sheets and thought it has to be a marketing scheme, do they work, are they expensive
Please can you share what your daughter used to get rid of fibromyalgia Im diagnosed in 2007 and still too today doctors never helped me to ease my pain and discomfort
@@jasnabulatovic4805Hi according to my functional medicine Dr. All autoimmune conditions in women should be taking vitamin D3/K, magnesium glycinate and Omega-3 fatty acids. Also herbal supplements like Frankincense with Tumeric, Ginger, green tea, celery seed, rosemary... I have Hashimoto's and Fibro and Hashimoto's have alot of the same overlapping symptoms. Make sure to ask your Dr. To check your vitamin D levels which I'm sure will be low unless you aleady supplement D3/K Vitamin D3/K is huge for pain & inflammation! Good luck 😊 P. S. Have you had your thyroid checked?
The Chinese breathing exercise of Tai Chi Qigong mentions rooting onto the earth. It means connecting the energy from heaven to the ground through your body. One can not feel this connection wearing shoes with rubber soles like sneakers( rubber is an insulator). The only way to feel this Qi while performing this exercise is by wearing shoes with leather soles on natural turf or better yet -barefooted. The sensation is like a tingling suction feeling when the connection is made.
“There’s not many researches because not much profits from it “. You nailed it Dr Gupta . You’re the best 👍
Also l don’t honestly feel our local GPs don’t want us to take control even in a small way, for our own health. The NHS is being privatised by stealth. Start looking after your own health and watching Dr. Gupta. Good health!
There are tons of magnesium supplements sold every year so SOMEONE is making money from it.
I have never met a doctor, let alone cardiologist, who is so soft-spoken & articulate about illness. You don't talk down to patients. You lift them up and talk to them as if they will understand ❤️
Usually to sell their products!
Dr. Erik Berg is also good that way.
HELLO, DR. GUPTA. I WOULD LIKE TO ADD THAT A DEFICIENCY IN MAGNESIUM CAN AS WELL BE CAUSED BY EXCESSIVE LEVELS OF UNABSORBED CALCIUM ACCUMULATED EVERYWHERE IN THE BODY; IN THAT CALCIUM, IN ORDER TO BE ABSORBED BY THE BODY NEEDS MAGNESIUM, MANGANESE, VITAMIN D3 AND VITAMIN K2.
And young
Dr.Berg , I have learned a lot about nutrition and the functions of my internal organs and continue to do so!!! Could you talk about menopause at some time ?
Got to appreciate an intelligent free thinking Doc who calls out the truth and offers real solutions that doesnt require big pharma.

Thank you!!! Doctors have asked,”Why do you think you were magnesium deficient when the blood test said your levels were normal?” My answer: I KNOW I was magnesium deficient because the unbearable neuropathy went completely away when I began taking magnesium. (And so many other health issues improved, as well.) Thank you, Dr. Gupta, for this informative video!!
What form of Magnesium do you take ??

I take 500 mg/day of magnesium glycinate based on information in the book “The Magnesium Miracle”(highly recommend this book!!). I took 100 mg/day for the first week and added 100 mg/day each week until I reached 500 mg. Many people need much more than 500, but this works for me. Also, I take 200 mg in the morning and 300 in the evening. That’s just what works for me. Best wishes!

Woaw fascinating!
Thank you for this video. I have been taking Magnesium citrate for a few months due to bowel issues. I had no idea until right now that is what is going on with me. I have been sleeping better, better appetite for good food, have energy to do things. I usually don't get up except to the restroom. I actually have been going to the store, am able to do something around the house, enjoy talking to people, etc. I am living again. I believe now it is due to the intake of Magnesium. I am shocked that it is making changes in my life. I am 65yo, permanently disabled due to my heart conditions, 70,% blind, and recovering from a life-saving emergency surgery. I had given up. I just wanted to die. I cut myself off from everyone. The changes have been gradual so I didn't notice. I began taking just 250mg. of Magnesium and I doubled it to 500mg. about 2 months ago. I didn't realize it had been improving everything for me so gradually. Much more in the last 2 months. I don't even think about dying any more. I was planning my funeral, expenses, etc. before. This has changed my depression, my mental acuity, my physical well being, my social life, everything. This video helped me understand why and how. THANK YOU. Oh and my intestinal issues are greatly improved. I am just amazed. Please keep up the GREAT VIDEOS. I'm a new, big fan!!

I've suffered from muscle cramping for most of my life. As a grade school student, I took cello lessons and my left hand would cramp quickly when being taught the correct hand posture on the strings. It made life somewhat miserable. Decades later, I brought it up with my GP and asked if I had a lazy parathyroid or what the cause would be. My concern was totally ignored. During a visit to my chiropractor, I had some facial twitching and she said I was suffering from a magnesium deficiency. I started taking Magnesium L-Threonate and these signs subsided. When I fail to take Mg, the signs returned. I wish I had seen that chiropractor when I was 10 or 11 years old! Thank you very much for the video and the work you do!

And do you take them morning or night?

Which magnesium are you taking?
@@lorisantos3093 In another video Dr Gupta recommends magnesium citrate, which is readily available here in the UK (I don't know where you are). He says it's also better tolerated than some other salts, and easily absorbed. I have been taking about 400 mg per day of citrate for a couple of years, and I have had no severe night muscle cramps or any recurrence of my ectopic beats for about 18 months. Magnesium citrate is used in large doses (a few grams) as a laxative but the amount I take has no such effect. Magnesium oxide and carbonate are sometimes used as antidotes to excess stomach acid, so are probably best avoided. Hope this helps - good luck!

Very refreshing to hear a Cardiologist talk openly about the real story and benefits of Magnesium. Many thanks Mr. Gupta, bless you.👍
I was diagnosed with AFrib in late June this year. I started being conscientious about taking Magnesium supplements each even. Someone told me about Magnesium oil and how rubbing that on her father’s chest calmed his heart. I was experiencing shortness of breath earlier this year which led to me asking my Dr for heart and lung tests. I started taking B12 every morning. That helped with my energy but now I realize after listening to your great program on Magnesium that my increased energy is most likely from the Magnesium. The past few days I haven’t needed an afternoon nap. For sure I won’t let my routine of magnesium supplementation end. 🙏
Dr. Gupta, I wish you were my cardiologist!
If you change your diet and do yoga, you won't need a cardiologist. 🙏
My doctor NEVER mentions these supplements despite the inherent benefits. This was great information
that's because most GP's are inhumane robots.. count yourself lucky if your doctor talks about nutrition as oppose to pharmacology
The problems is that many GPs and other doctors, don’t want us to take some responsibility for our own health. Where will it end! Will they be out of a job?
I decided to take my health into my own hands( not that I'm suffering from any ailments) after knowing how big pharma putting us in a lot of mess...I'm incorporating gardening, sunshine, healthy food and learning other types of medicine eg traditional Chinese medicine, ayurveda, medicine from the kitchen etc into my wellness and healthcare
Thank you so much, Dr Gupta. I’ve learned more about magnesium needed in my body than all the doctors I’ve seen in my 81 years. You are a blessing.

Thank you for sharing your story. Curious to know if you suffered from any of the following: Cronic fatigue, fibromylgia, any type of thyroid disorder? I am hopeful to find relief for myself. Also what brand are you using. I've found that purity in supplements is so important but it is so hard to find good sources at affordable prices.
I have chronic fatigue , thyroid disorder , inflammation etc. the one I take has 5 absorbable bioavailable natural magnesium’s. So many out there are synthetic and don’t absorb to our cells. The one I found and take is called REMAG5. It has glycinate, oratate, malate , taurate, and citrate. Has made a huge difference for myself and my family. Hope this helps.

@@candicedavis2486 I take vitamin K2 for every 10,000 IUs of Vitamin D3 I take. D3 helps with calcium absorption. K2 binds with Calcium and transports it to your bones instead of depositing in your blood vessels. I don't recommend taking high doses of Vitamin D3 for everyone.
Blessed is this man. Such clear thinking, holistic knowledge and more importantly his willingness to share and help.
Thank you for taking the time to educate the public on simple health solutions. Very important when our health care systems are being overwhelmed.
I wish to thank you immensely. I watch your videos and when I took calcium with magnesium, zinc and D, (all in one) my sleep quality improved in 5 days. Coupled with probiotics, intermittent fasting, B Complex and exercise, I feel 20 years younger
If it save to take all this vitamin at ones
@@ebtisamali359 minerals should be taken separately( magnesium and zinc) calcium and d help each other absorb and together help magnesium absorb
I just started my 400Mg daily Magnesium today.
Be very careful of supplementing with Calcium. Better to get it from your Diet
@@manoahouse yes, sardines with the soft bones inside is a perfect source 😄 no need for supplements because they just clog ur arteries more it’s not natural calcium it’s chalk. 10,000 iu Vitamin D3 and 100 mcg K2, Magnesium Taurate 400 mg, good potassium intake from foods and your good 😁
Did anyone else check off literally every symptom he mentioned as you listened to this?
I can tell you actually care about your patients, and all people in general. Kudos!
God Bless you , doctor, i have been taking magnesium for 10 months
I came across it by chance on you tube.
You just confirmed the benefits
Magnesium glycinate helps me a lot with sleep issues
I an 67 years old , hormonal imbalances and especially menopause are suc contributing factors to insomnia ans anxiety.🙏🏻💕
I've just started taking magnesium.. And I'm sleeping better..
Thank you Doc..
I solved my insomnia problem with grounding (earthing). Deep, refreshing sleep. Amazing.
are you taking magesium supplement like pills or just foods with magnesium in it?
You sir are a gift to humanity. Such intelligence, integrity and honesty. I was suffering bouts of super tachycardia every month or so and more and more frequent heart flutters - at least once per day. My cardiologist wanted to operate. My daughter, who’s studying in the medical field, put me onto magnesium powder. I felt better within about 4 hours and haven’t had an event for 3 months. It’s changed my life. 🤓🙏
Yes me to change my life
That's awesome. I've just started getting heart flutters, dizziness and my BP is sometimes 138 over 86. I'm definitely gonna start taking magnesium!
how much mg and what form do u take?
@@melissamartin9549 I personally take 3 capsules, twice a day, that contain 250mg magnesium, 500 MG calcium, and 200 IU of Vitamin D. So, those mgs are per 3 capsule dosage. Example, if you take them twice a day, you're taking in atotal of 500 MG magnesium, 1000mg calcium and 400 IU Vitamin D.
@@suzio6571 thank u🙏🏼 ive been taking 150mg a day scared to take to much but i’m going to up my dose
Hello Dr. Gupta, thank you for this video.
You are educating people worldwide, therefore saving lives.
I am so grateful to have found you a true physician and healer.
You live by your oath. "I shall not harm."
May God richly bless you🙏
I was looking through U-Tube and not even looking for Magnesium and this came up. My wife told me about it years ago but I thought it was for the bones and between My wife and my oldest daughter they got me onto this. I've never been happier. What a change in feeling better. Thanks Liz and Chylow.
My high blood pressure resulted in a stroke 2 years ago and no one has mentioned taking magnesium. Thank you doctor.
Same here Stroke 2 years ago at 46 due to high blood pressure !
Sorry to hear about your stroke Mike. It takes a while to get back on track and also to recover from the constant tiredness. I hope you're getting better every day. ☺
@@auntie44m Thank you Shellebelle , yes the tiredness and medications is an issue , but I was lucky , I lost my beloved dad in Sept to Osephageul Cancer, so the last 2 years horrific , but I'm alive thank you . Sorry to hear about your stroke too , I hope you are feeling better too 😉
I'm 40 and had a stroke in my eye one month ago today (branch retina artery occlusion) and have been on meds since I was 18. Nothing is helping me now, I can't wait to try this
How did you know it was a result of high blood pressure? Also, how long did you have the high blood pressure for?
I ask because I've noticed my bp readings have been consistently around 140-75 range. So high numbers up top but good numbers for the bottom...been trying to avoid the meds and figure this out the natural way. Should I be concerned with those readings? Thanks 😊
I just took a magnesium while listening to this.
Me too.
Tracy S Me too!!
And take it before I go to my stressful JOB
Just took one too
Tracy S I laughed but it’s true ... so did i
Magnesium has changed my life! I have been diagnosed with ADHD and started upping my intake of it, its been a life changer, it keeps me calmer and not being so anxious all the time. I definitely know when I have forgotten to take it. Thanks for the information video! Keep up the good work!
What kind of magnesium are you using?
2 other things to think about taking. GABA, and or SAM e. It slows the uptake of Cortisol. Catnip tea is good, too.
I love this doctor he answers all my questions without ever having to go to him. Great stuff.
I wish Sanjay was my doctor. Mine never explains anything to me.
Tom Ripley I wasted a lot of money today on a cardiologist who explained nothing to me! They never do. Left with more questions than answers.
Tom, probably time to look for a new doctor.
David Andrew
They don't have the time to inform each patient's mind.
Tom Ripley Many Drs. don't take the time to explain anything, I'm experiencing the same attitude as well.
Ikr why do doctors fucking do that
A Cardiologist with a great heart. Thank you Dr Gupta for sharing your knowledge for a healthy living.
This is my first time watching your videos, but it certainly won't be the last. You are very informative and I plan to use what I learn! Thank you, Ed
A genuine Doctor, encouraging with nutrition / solution and not pills/ and masking the cause. 👏🏽
You're a good doctor. some cardiologist will not tell this. keep up the good work and God bless.
♂TheSilverlover999♂ He is an amazing doctor!!
Tina Miller
There are many amazing doctor but few are good ones. what i mean for good is kind heart and not after money.
Sorry English is my second language i am Asian
:-) Thank you!!
thank you!!!
when I was 50 years old while lifting weights my muscles didn't hurt at all but my bones hurt so bad I had to stop. was I suffering from a magnesium deficiency ?
I have found over many years that magnesium supliments prevent me from getting very painful cramps in my legs when I awaken in the morning. This idea was originally suggested to me by an elderly general medical practitioner.
Because magnesium help with the use of potassium. Add potassium like a banana and watch what happens
@@kingkanoworldmedia4389 wow i am in my mid 30s and i was diagnosed woth hypothryroidism and grtting up in the morning is not a pleasant experience. But i came across magnesium while searching for the answers. And No cramps and tightness in the body anymore wooohoo !
Infinite Abundance which kind?
I had severe leg cramps and found out I was celiac and had little calcium - get checked
@uzair Ahmed please Found a good source of Magnesium Oxide here for a reasonable price. I was taking Magnesium Citrate. Both have worked fine. Waking daily leg cramps completely gone from day 1.
It’s very good to be educated on things that make you feel better make you be more productive thank you for the education that you sent over the Internet keep up the good work I’ve tried magnesium oxide and I’ve been feeling pretty good lately and to hear someone else confirm my feelings is a wonderful thing
You’re amazing and I am so grateful to God me and my mom found you ❤
Thank you for this video. So nice to see a Dr who doesn't want to promote the use of drugs. Magnesium helped me get thru depression. 💜
Evelyne van de Poel I hope u don’t mind me asking, what brand did u take, and did u take anything else hun.. so glad U tackled your depression ❤️🌞
What mag.did you take thaks
I can't count the times when I have felt my heart "blurping" at night lying in bed. I get up and take a couple of capsules of magnesium (120 mg each) and within 30-40 minutes it is humming again -- and stays humming!
Thank you Dr. Gupta, the information in your videos never age!.. You enlightened me!.. It is very refreshing to see a doctor talking to us as if we were a close friend. Thank you for explaining so clearly, making it easier for us to take care of ourselves, and so you are a 'true' doctor, meaning one that genuinely cares for the welfare of his patient. These days one can be forgiven for assuming that doctors are drug pushers... of course they are not all... but as time goes forward it seems harder and harder to find a doctor who explains all. UA-cam is so great in this regard, because doctors are not locked in to a 15 minutes span, and do not have to repeat themselves over and over again, a youtube video clip explains all. I am so grateful that I have 'discovered' you lately. Thank you
Thankyou for this wonderful information on magnesium! Thankyou for caring for the lives of people who need to know this! God bless u!
Your holistic approach to health is so appreciated, thank you 😊
I like this guy. Honest and truthful. Rare these days.
James Martinez It doesn’t harm that he’s one dishy doctor either !!!!!
100% you are right
Thank you for giving all the healthy information.
You don’t care about proof or credentials? Are you an idiot?
He’s da best most adr r legal drug dealers!!!
I am looking forward to taking magnesium as I have suffered with Restless Leg Syndrome for 40 years. Not one person or doctor suggested to take magnesium. I am so tired of being taken advantage of, try this drug or that drug. If a drug helps in one area, it does damage in another.
How much do you take dailey?
Marlene Krue I use magnesium oil for my restless legs. I rub it on my feet and in 5 minutes it is gone
I was hospitalized once for a kidney abcess and luckily I had a very smart Urologist. It took two weeks to build my magnesium back up. I will tell you, I really don't feel well unless I take it.
This supplement works immediately!
