So, thank you for this very real conversation between the two of you. As a female boomer, I applaud the insights and honesty.

Did you find out the name of the processing speed game, "double" something?

As a person in the psych field who has debilitating RA and spinal stenosis, I am deeply offended by the "theory" that immobility leads to cognitive decline...I can't find any well-designed studies that show inactive people are less intelligent than active people. In all due respect, Dr. Gupta, every time I read or listen to you, my biggest takeaway is that there is an alternate explanation for all of your theories and an opposing argument for every remedy you subscribe. Ask a person who is in a war zone how doing something scary every day impacts their thinking. Come on man. You provide no discussion of genetics, environment, and resilience. The science of neuro psych is deeply flawed and our understanding is only as good as the research designed by flawed people. I've been measuring intelligence for 35 years and processing speed, btw, does not increase with practice. Lumosity was sued by the Federal Trade Commission for making these claims, falsely. You can get faster at doing the same thing over and over but that faster pace doesn't generalize to a parallel task or a novel task. Please take care and always ask yourself, what's the differential? Thank you.

I would have hoped for a more scientific answer to the alcohol question. "I don't drink much" is not enough
