I really would like to have the chemistry lession on this product as I like to know, how a product works. A weekly update with this client is highly appreciated. Thank you so much for all the work you put in these educational sessions. I learned so much from you and my nails benefit greatly from all your advices.
I think SO many technicians could use some information on how to properly use those efiles. A lot of people think that nail damage is just the price you have to pay for getting your nails done. False. I love watching you use your efile. So nice and gentle and non-damaging. I wish people here in the U.S. would use them like that.
This is very helpful to see also in comparison to your other client who's using the OPI treatment. I'd love to hear more of your reasoning behind why you chose the different treatments for each of these clients 🙂
I tried OPI Repair Mode + oil on one hand and CND Rescue Rxx (which has oil in it) on the other. Both 2x a day with also couple of oil applications separate per day. The CND looked better than the OPI + oil for my surface damage.
Please do a video explaining what the CND rescue RXX actually is from a chemist perspective! I’d love to see the results of her nails in a week! I’ve so enjoyed watching you repair her nails! I’m learning a lot thank you!!
Would love to see client after a week of using CND Rescue RX. I have used both the CND and the OPI Repair Mode. They are very different products as the CND has an oily feel.i like them both.
I think they *could work together. First OPI and then 10 minutes later CND Rescue RXx Normally I don't like to complicate things and use too many products. From experience I see that it's the consistency with 1-2 products works better than throwing 10 different products once in a while. How realistic is having 10 step nail care routine? Not really. 99% people will quit. I don't even have a 10 step routine for my face LOL. AM 1) Gentle cleanser 2) Niacinamide and HA serum 3) sunscreen PM 1) Make up remover 2) gentle cleanser 3) tretinoin
I am using both right now and I don’t find it terribly complicated. I apply repair mode in the AM and before bed and just throw a baby sized RescueRxx in my purse to rub onto my nails after a hand wash a couple times a day when I remember.
Hi! I use both OPI Repair Mode and CND Rescue Rxx. In my personal experience, (i) OPI Repair Mode is quite effective at "sticking" the peeling layers together (I really wish OPI would explain the mechanism behind this product), while CND Rescue Rxx seems to "nourish" the nail plate and somewhat reduce the amount of peeling I get. After one month with each (twice a day on bare nails), I think the immediate results with OPI are a bit more noticeable. (ii) OPI has a very watery and thin texture (high alcohol content); it evaporates within a minute; CND has an oil-like texture that stays on your nails. (iii) OPI doesn't have a scent, while CND has a very strong caramel scent. Nowadays, I use both when I don't have any polish on, and I use the CND like a nail oil when I do have polish on. Much love from Hong Kong!
Polish is made to adhere to the top layers of the nails. As nails bend or swell and dry, the polish is adhered to the top layer and starts to pull it off. Like paint peeling off wood. Change your polish every four days and keep oiled so the polish stays rather flexible and moves a little bit with the nail. Dried out polish will stay firm and pull your top layers off as your nails flex.
This is interesting. I thought it must be using nail polish remover that was weakening my nails and making them peel but perhaps I was keeping the polish on for too long? My nails are like paper at the moment 😢
Yes I would love to see a one week update and the chemistry lesson. I saw this product at Ulta and was gonna try it. Would love to understand what’s in it. Thanks so much!
I love these kinds of experiments on real clients. I would love your chemistry lesson on this product. Im especially curious on how this effects the skin if at all, since its spread on both nail and skin.
I bought this 2 months ago & my nails are now long, strong, healthy and amazing… I bought it with the cuticle oil… have just bought a second time. This really is amazing product and it works. My nails wouldn’t grow at all & they were splitting, peeling and soft and bendy & they really are fantastic now. 10/10 for this product.
I bought the OPI repair mode and it’s expensive and the bottle is so thick and dark you think you’re getting more than you are. It was gone so fast. But…..having said that, it does work!
The nitty-gritty chemistry of OPI Repair Mode vs. CND Rescue RXX is less important to me than knowing which one to buy, which is better for nails that split once they reach a certain length. But regardless, I really appreciate the content of your channel. Thank you!
Follow up: after using CND Rescue RXX for a week, I feel like my nails are more dried out and brittle. I'm going to stop using RXX and go back to using oil. At the moment my nails are short, so splitting is not a problem.
Would love to see her progress as I am having peeling problems too ! Yes for the chemistry lesson as well ! Thanks for all your hard work in making these videos it is appreciated !❤
NEVER had any problems with peeling, white spots and weakness until I started messing with gel, which brought with it filing damage, strangling/smothering my nails by keeping that stuff on too long and doing fills to keep them on even longer, and then I began to slowly develop an allergy. Gel destroyed my naturally strong, thick nails 💔 I’m back on my healthy nail growth journey, which is what brought me to discover your channel and binge watch so many of your videos. Most of everything you do and say makes sense and much of it is how I used to care for my nails. Great refresher with some new fabulous ideas to help my nails be as healthy as possible! Thank you for your generosity!! 🥰 My nails are still not great but I used acrylic to protect my thin damaged nails until much of it grew out, then when I was totally done with acrylic I used only regular polish and in only a thin layer or two to keep any roughness or peeling held down so it’s not catching on things, pull and worsen. But now I’m at the point I have to start doing healthy weekly manicures and leave my nails bare to allow the barrier layer to heal now. 30+ years of healthy strong nails (which at 18yrs old I worked really hard to stop biting my nails for them to grow and flourish for 30yrs) destroyed in a few years because I got bored during the pandemic 😫 I’m so mad at myself for it, but I’m working hard to get them back in tip top shape.
I have this peeling issue, so I would love to see this client's nails next week. I'd also love to know the chemical difference with the oil you used. :-) Lastly, wow, I remember when you were trying to get to 25K. Look at you now!
I was eyeing RescueRxx since December and forgot to put it in my cart. This winter was brutal on my nails. With the dry weather and painting my nails they just got sooo visible dry! I put on jojoba after hand washing and did weekly nail soaks. But after painting my nails they would still peel! I took long breaks too! So the OPI Repair mode would pause the peeling and keep my nails in place while I grew out damage. The alcohol in the solution seemed to add to the root problem of dryness though. I needed to add this to my healing!!!! I just started CND rescueRxx 5 days ago and my nail beds look 1000X better. They look hydrated and seem to be resolving the underlying issue of dryness. After I grow out the portion of peeling this is definitely going to be used in between nail polish use.
I left the comment you showed about white patches / surface damage. I appreciate the advice. Thank you! I did use 2 DD base; 1 regular Transform; 2 DD color coat; and 1 DD Top coat. Never left on more than 1 week. Each coat was thin but together gave that nice "gel look".
Thank you so much for passing on the words of wisdom about do it yourself people not using an e file in themselves!! Boy oh boy have I seen awful photos of bloody skin from people buying and using an e file on themselves. So sad and awful.
Yes please on the update! Also, so interesting what you said about keeping the nail polish on too long. I had some peeling with dazzle. Maybe it was transform?? My nail plates stay sealed together when bare. So perhaps, I will try your method of keeping them bare (or clear), and then just using polish for a special occasion and then take off after a few days.
I've been using CBD Rx regularly but unfortunately, its menopause that is killing my nails😢. I take good care but unfortunately the peeling is almost continual
@14:56 in the video: you talk about oil after every hand wash. So, just to be clear: she's going to be using the Rxx only twice a day, and normal oil in addition, after every hand-wash? Or she's going to be using a good amount of the Rxx twice a day and a much smaller amount of the Rxx after every hand wash? Thanks.
Yes, my advice is to use a drop of oil after each hand wash but people especially clients rarely listen to me. They expect me to fix the problem for them ;) So I just asked this client to use this product in the morning and at night. If she uses oil after hand washing, it would be nice. PS. If you are using Rescue RXx then you don't apply the oil at the same time. One or the other. This is not supposed to be used after each hand wash :))
I just bought Nail Aid Keratin at Ross door under $4 and it has worked miracles for my brittle, splitting nails (including one terrible vertical😊 split) very quickly in 2 weeks, with weekly manicures.
I just left a comment on the Kerasol nail repair too😊. I got it on Amazon. Also, Nail Aid is a product line on Amazon I'm going to try for keeping strength and growth. Nailtiques 2 is excellent for nail repair and growth. But I don't even have a free edge at all, so I have the Kerasol for my major damage now. And jojoba oil all the time!
I'd love to see an update of the progress. I'm also interested in the chemistry involved along with the differences between the products you mentioned. I'm now off to order the hand creme you recommended! :)
I started using the Kerasol for nail repair a week ago. There is a definite improvement. My nails were very damaged on the free edge. I used acetone to remove glued stick ons, and it disintegrated my free edge. Never again. When I get a free edge, I will fall back on Nailtiques Formula 2, a proven nail repair I used many years ago. Also, I found a recommendation for Nail Aid products on Amazon. I will try a couple when my nails grow better to keep them growing and long. Also, constant jojoba oil!
Acetone did not damage your nails. Acetone does not have an ability to cause nail damage. Wearing gel, dip etc and especially removing it incorrectly for sure can. Do this test. Clip a piece of a nail and drop it in an acetone. You can keep the clipping in the acetone for a month and it will not disintegrate the nail.
Yes PLEASE show the nails after using this product. It would be greatly appreciated. I enjoy your videos very educational, Thanks! 🤗😊 But I do wonder why you or your models never have longer nails?? I'd like to see then. 😉
Here is the thing :). People who are able to grow their nails long usually care for them and do them themselves. They don’t go for manicures. I don’t have any clients with long natural nails. All of my clients want short and neat nails and because they see what I do (on IG and YT) that I do short nails they feel “safe” with me that I’m not gonna try to talk them into gel or tips or extensions. So that’s like a vegan restaurant. They advertise what they offer so they get clients that like vegan food or are vegans. There is no way to please everyone. 😅
Yes, please. I’d love to see results. I had minimal peeling, not sure why, decided to try OPI Repair Mode, and the peeling majorly worsened. I had even done warm oil soak and daily oiling. I believe the OPI repair mode caused the peeling. Thoughts?
I would be interested to hear about the chemistry of this product. I own a bottle of it and might be more motivated to use it regularly if I understood how it works. :)
I would also be interested in the chemistry lesson. And as others have suggested, a comparison and pros/cons of OPI Repair Mode and CND Repair Rxx. As someone with ADD and a short attention span, q summary of your findings/opinion at the end of your videos would be beneficial if my attention has wandered in the middle, to make sure i got the most important points.
Bought ✅ I’ve been influenced 🤭 some of my nails are peeling a tiny bit on the free edge so I’m looking forward to giving this a try! I’m an AVID nail painter so time for a break lol
Hi can you do a video on natural nails that are long. It seems like all of your videos are only including short nails and it would be nice to see a set of long nails on someone who is following your methods. Just curious to see growth progress of natural long nails.

Thank you so much for your channel, it's exactly the kind of information I've been searching for for years! I've completely adopted your nail care system, I'm hooked on oils and have little bottles of oil everywhere now, and it's really helping. One question I have for you about Rescue RXx - is it possible that it might thicken the skin beside the nail? I was using it consistently twice a day for a number of weeks but stopped recently because I noticed a thickening of that skin. If the Rescue RXx isn't the possible cause, I want to start using it again! :) I've tried googling my question, but came up with nothing.
Hi, love your videos. I struggle with peeling nails. I have opi repair mode and have not used as directed. I felt the nails were weak and needed something more substantial to protect them. I also like a shine on the nails. I would put the opi on then a layer of rejuvacote then Essie treat, love and colour. I’m now thinking I’m setting myself back. I have no desire for long nails, just healthy short nails. How do you deal with the side of the nail skin when it is thick? You use an e file. I try to “sand” the skin. Also, what if the nail fold looks thick too?
Hi we live in the US but I love Spain and we go a few times all over Madrid, Catalonian, Cordoba, Segovia, Toledo Menorca, Barcelona and we visit La Familia beautiful. What are the most popular places in Spain?
I have soft nails with peeling on almost every nail, I started using oils after every handwas and will start using the Mavala Scientifique K+ soon. Should I try to grow out the peeled part of my nails out first before filing them down, or should I keep them as short as possible? Thank you for all the info!
I have a vertical split on my thumb nail which happened when I attempted to remove gel nail. I understand just using the CND Rescue but this thumb nail snags.
I would love the chemestry lessons on this product, and compared to the OPI rescue 👍

Thank you Anna for your help and videos! I have listened to your advice the past year or two. Before my nails would peel all the time so I always had nail polish on and that went on for a few years. So after finding you and I went completely bare for cca 4 months and I moisturized a lot, stopped cutting the skin etc. I even got the dior abricot cream and use it every night. the nails got much better and I was so happy. But the last few months they started to peel again, I can’t get them to grow at all because I have to keep them very short and I haven’t changed anything. (Except adding the dior cream) I am desperate, Im even thinking of trying gel again after all these years, because polish doesn’t last and when they’re bare they look very sad.. do you think it’s because of vitamin deficiencies like some say? I doubt it.. Again thank you so much! You changed so much how I view nail care.❤
Can you please tell me how to deal with this problem: I often experience onycholysis on the sides of my thumbs, and dirt gets clogged into the empty spots under the nail. It gets quite deep and it is impossible to completely clean it out with a brush and I'm afarid to do things even worse if I use something sharp to clean it out. Is there any way to solve the problem?
I believe you. Some people are just more susceptible. Maybe the bonds between the cells (lamellar layers) are in your case naturally weak or for some reason weak. Then a strong bond of polish can disrupt these layers. Are your nails hard and brittle or soft and bendy?
Excessive hand washing especially with bar soap can wreck a havoc on the skin and nails: Skin Cleansing without or with Compromise: Soaps and Syndets bit.ly/49wLkzH
Some people have reported brittleness if overused so I'm not sure if I would use it if not necessary. I would use pure jojoba with some grapeseed oil or avocado oil. :)
If a bit can remove cuticle it can remove layers of the nail. I do not recommend for people to use e-file without specific training. And really, it *really* is not needed if manicures are done weekly and you care for the nails. The results are actually better this way.
CND Rescue Rx has worked very well to repair my nails, but it’s not a scientific study 😂. I also use oils and creams after handwashing and the CND Rx twice a day. Since the Rescue Rx is an oil it might not be better than jojoba oil. My nails are suffering because of chemotherapy treatments. Has anyone else has that problem and some advice?
Keep an eye on the inside of the bottle. My bottle was a year old and I happened to look inside to try to get an idea of how much was left and there were mold spores floating around 🤢. Yuck! My other CND Oil in the clear bottle has never done that.
OMG!!!!!! Oil doesn't need preservatives as bacteria needs water. But this one has water.... and where is the preservative? The alcohol I guess.... interesting!!
Hi, not sure if you had any joy but just to let you know, I live in Northwest Ireland and had no problems finding the CND Rxx. I've actually used it for about 7ish years. Available at most beauty salons that I've encountered, also beauty supply stores etc. there are also a few Irish Salons that do it online. Hope this helps 😊

Would love to see an update too! 💅🏻
Would love a pro-con video of OPI Repaid Mode vs. CND Rescue RXx treatment maybe :)
I would love to see an update too. And a comparison of opi repair mode with cnd rescue rxx would be great and helpful to decide wich one I should buy.

Yes, please - would very much like to see the results! Peeling is the only issue I haven’t been able to resolve.
Your so good with that electric file folks watching might think that they are easy to use. 😅
I use this daily …for a year now…and my nails are so much better for it.
Hello 😊 have you posted the results? I can’t seem to find the video.
Thank you !
Yes PLEASE show the nails after using this product. It would be greatly appreciated.
I enjoy your videos very educational, Thanks! 🤗😊
But I do wonder why you or your models never have longer nails??
Thoughts?
Yes please would love a follow up in a week.
I would love to see updates & chemistry lessons!
I definitely would love to hear the science about the product!😊❤
I would be interested to hear about the chemistry of this product. I own a bottle of it and might be more motivated to use it regularly if I understood how it works. :)
Please can we have more information Rxx definitely and would like to see a follow-up with your client
Couldyou please explain the difference between RXx and OPI repair and when to use wich product. Thank you so much 😊
I would also be interested in the chemistry lesson.
I would love to learn more about CND Rescue RXX and how it works on the nails.
Very interested in seeing an update! Thank you for the details and practical information you provide to your viewers!
Bought ✅ I’ve been influenced 🤭 some of my nails are peeling a tiny bit on the free edge so I’m looking forward to giving this a try! I’m an AVID nail painter so time for a break lol
Would love to know more the CND Rescue!
Update & chemistry lesson for this CND product & OPI Repair Mode, please. A comparison of Rescue RX vs Repair Mode would be great.
Yes I would like to see the result in 2 weeks
Yes, please show us an update
yes! i would like to see update next week!
Hi Anna, which base and top from Catrice are you using? There are so many 😊 Thank you!
Hi can you do a video on natural nails that are long. It seems like all of your videos are only including short nails and it would be nice to see a set of long nails on someone who is following your methods. Just curious to see growth progress of natural long nails.

Can I use both the OPI Repair Mode and the CND Rescue RX at the same time?
I definitely want to see a follow up video!
Yes, I’d love an update.
I LOVE your chemistry lessons❣️
That hip action got me like, "Whoa!" 😮, but I like it! ❤
:) I've tried googling my question, but came up with nothing.
yes please follow up!
I would like to see an update. Did you ever consider doing a series using OPI repair mode on one hand and CDN on the other hand?
That would be awesome I think because this needs to be used daily it will be difficult for the client to follow.
Yes please, one wee follow up.
Yes please!! Progress pics 🙌🏻
I want the chemistrylesson !!
Yes, follow up next week.
I was thought not to use a “sawing” motion to file my nails; only file in one direction with each stroke. Please comment.
Please check the link in the description box called:
👉Filing in 1 direction?
Is there any way to solve the problem?
can you tell us where tot get the kind of thin nailfiles in Europe? I can’t find them only metal kind ones not the cardboard ones
Impeccable work ⭐🙏🏼🙂❤
I wear my polish for very little time before changing it (like 1-3 days). I still get surface damage and peeling.
I believe you. Some people are just more susceptible. Maybe the bonds between the cells (lamellar layers) are in your case naturally weak or for some reason weak. Then a strong bond of polish can disrupt these layers.
Are your nails hard and brittle or soft and bendy?
@@TheSalonLife pretty soft and bendy. I also wash my hands a lot so even with oil/moisturizer I think that causes some weakness.
Excessive hand washing especially with bar soap can wreck a havoc on the skin and nails:

I would like to see her nails with this product in a week please
If the nails are not damaged, can you still use this product twice a day? Will it harm healthy nails?
Some people have reported brittleness if overused so I'm not sure if I would use it if not necessary. I would use pure jojoba with some grapeseed oil or avocado oil. :)
What about the only clean bit, do you think it is as safe as advertised?
Where can I get the CND Rescue?
Keep an eye on the inside of the bottle. My bottle was a year old and I happened to look inside to try to get an idea of how much was left and there were mold spores floating around 🤢. Yuck! My other CND Oil in the clear bottle has never done that.
OMG!!!!!! Oil doesn't need preservatives as bacteria needs water. But this one has water.... and where is the preservative? The alcohol I guess.... interesting!!
@@TheSalonLifeexactly what I thought! Whatever preservative was in there failed spectacularly 🤣.
chem lesson next please and thank you 😁
Chemistry lesson yes please!!!
Can i buy these products in Ireland? Perhaps different name?
Hi, not sure if you had any joy but just to let you know, I live in Northwest Ireland and had no problems finding the CND Rxx. I've actually used it for about 7ish years. Available at most beauty salons that I've encountered, also beauty supply stores etc. there are also a few Irish Salons that do it online. Hope this helps 😊
