Just got my blower motor and resistor and installed this afternoon. Your video was very helpful in knowing how to take apart. The job would have gone much faster but that third screw was a bear to loosen and of course the hardest to get at. I tried everything and almost starting taking the blower housing off. Decided to heat up a nail with a torch and held it to the screw hoping to heat up the screw and let it cool down. It finally came off and everything went smoothly after that.
It is a 2001 according to the title / vin plate, but there are different trim packages they did came in. This one only has one climate mode fan as shown in the video. If it had dual climate control zones the fan setup would be much different, /K&K
@@KNKRNR I have a 2003 and it doesn't have the onboard controls. It's has to be 2004 or newer. Mine has a 6 CD changer with cassette player, so I'm guessing you don't have a cassette player.
@@tmfranz Nope its an 2001, this had a few luxury options added on by the dealership when it was new. We have the build sheet for this QX4 which cost $41,000 new. They added a navigation unit, 6 disc changer in the back and Bose sound system with a tape deck, 17 inch rims. The HVAC controls are built into the navigation unit. We the Bose unit a tape deck. This version of the QX4 body style went from early 2000- late 2003. Your right in 2004 Inifinit made major changes to this line. /K&K
My problem is the faulty off switch that is built in the nav unit. I can't turn off the ac? So I took out the entire unit out of the panel. Bought another panel with the climate control built in the panel. But the connectors are different. I can't find no one who specializes in rewiring. Any suggestions

Thank you very much for your video. It was very helpful I follow step-by-step. I just changed my blower motor in my 2001 Nissan Pathfinder. Thank you.
Glad it helped
@@KNKRNR thank you
Thanks for the video. Is that the only heater/ac fan? That is definitely not a 2001 Infiniti QX4

My 2001 qx4 temperature stays ice cold no matter what I put my automatic climate control temp on.
Are you selling any one of those buttons on the navigation systems I have the same car look for my channel
I’m looking for parts for that navigation system it is very hard to find parts
We found a used one on ebay awhile ago. There are not easy to find if you have the unit that ties HVAC controls with nav.

@@KNKRNR thank you
