I am huge Donut/Brandon fan and i had absolutely no idea they knew each other or those realms of content creators were connected in any way. The only thing I can think that would be cancel worthy is the fact that he said during a red thread podcast episode that he thinks most people he meets who tell him they have religious trauma are overreacting, so I can absolutely understand why people would be mad at him for it if that is the reason. That's literally not true. That's such a dumb fucking take. If that were true then no one would get canceled. The problem is that all the people that are in media getting canceled need people to be on their side. Actors get canceled because the "nobodies" are important and numerous enough that studios act on that. Folks lose work because of it. Them "not caring" about Twitter doesn't mean anything when people in power do. And for a UA-camr who does this full time and depends on it as income? Folks on Twitter could cost them subscribers and views, and even advertisers and sponsorships. It's a lot more complicated than "Who cares about what those people say." Because obviously, people care. That's why it can be so dangerous.

And he never ever tried to trick people or hide his views, I'd say given how much research he has probably done for the Ruby Ridge and Waco videos he does an impresjob at not shouting "down with the gouvernment" at every opportunity. He's an amazing teacher, and he never tries to sells you something as the truth when it isn't. He is always very transparent about what is fact, what is debated by whom, and what is his own interpretation. He is more transparent about this than even some historians.
But I guess that's the people police for you. They are always on the lookout for people they can exclude. The only thing that changed in the last 30 years is who they exclude and why. It makes me so glad to hear you all are genuine friends and aren't just "using" each other for clout or playing nice for the camera. You're all inspirations of mine, but especially Wendigoon due to us both being Christians, having similar beliefs and interests, and him just coming across as a really great guy. He's the reason I started making UA-cam videos, and part of the reason why I've gotten back to studying the Bible. You guys' support and enthusiasm for one another is contagious, and as someone whose been having a really, REALLY rough time dating back to December 2022, I just want to say "Thank you". I hope to shake each of your hands one of these days, and tell each of you to your faces "Thank you" from the bottom of my heart. I left twitch partially because people just use each other there. It was all graphic designer scams and "you have no followers, bye!" Even though I haven't found an extremely large foothold on UA-cam, it does seem like people are more open to working together.

I was basically at "ground zero" when all the shit with Wendigoon blew up on Twitter and from what I saw it was due to a big portion of Hbomberguy's audience just being whipped up into a frenzy after he called out James Somerton and Internet Historian. Splintering off from that a bunch of them started just giving Wendigoon a bunch of shit basically just off of "bad vibes" due to him liking guns and being Christian. They then started pointing at frankly pretty innocuous things he did like following Kyle Rittenhouse on Twitter for a bit and him starting the whole Boogaloo Boys meme, neither of which I'd say is concrete evidence of anything in particular. Overall it was honestly kinda sad and pathetic the amount of straws these people were grasping at to get *anything* on him.
Honestly these rabid Hbomb fans have started to become a topic in of themselves. Ever since that video they've completely infested the previously-dead r/UA-camdrama subreddit and it's such a perplexing shitshow there with a bunch of essentially paranoid schizos pointing at completely innocuous things other creators have done and trying to construe them as "red flags." I know this because there were empty 50 cal casings, exploded AK50 parts, and Herrera for Congress literature on my front lawn. I think Donut was the driver because my garage cam caught a guy in a ski mask landing a sweet kick flip before they drove off.
