Story 4: are we not going to talk about the fact that OP's husband isnt sticking up for her? Not saying anything and then calling her dramatic when she complained about the MIL constantly photobombing them? Like wtf? I want to scream at her to get an annulment or re-evaluate her relationship because this man doesnt have your back.
Exactly. OPs husband sounds like a mama's boy that won't get off of mama's tits. Dude needs to understand that his wife IS his family too. And that he needs to be putting her first. The husbands mom is in the wrong from wearing white to their wedding and refusing to let them have a picture alone. I would see this as a red flag when a man gaslights me and doesn't see how wrong this whole situation is and that their own mother is being the problem.

For the first story, what’s more scary? Being there for your wife and being present for the birth of your child? Or pushing a whole entire human out of your body?
2nd option is scary. I personally think giving birth is pretty painful and scary. I know our moms have done that to us. And some women go through it. But I still wouldn't wanna be in that situation.
First story: The husband is a useless idiot. He left his wife while she was in labor and went to hide at his daddy’s house. Then he called his sister foul names and burst into tears. The wife should think very long and hard about her future and her baby’s future with this little boy. Second story: Sadly, this is not uncommon. Family still thinking of her as a little girl and not as a professional adult. Third story: The neighbors were warned about letting their dog run wild. Depending on where she lives, she could call animal control and have the dog picked up. Fourth story: Another toxic mother-in-law who doesn’t want her baby boy to leave her for some woman. This wife should be very careful; it would not surprise me if the mother-in-law tries to break up the marriage.

Reminds me of the Aurora Theater shooting. There was a man that abandoned his GF and babies, ran to the parking lot and drove away. Allegedly he had his youngest in his arms and put him down before running; thankfully a random teenager picked up the baby because the GF already had her hands full with the other kid. At least that man was ashamed of his reaction and begged for forgiveness instead of throwing insults and playing the victim.
Can we talk about how in the last story the mother-in-law not only ruined the photos, but also deliberately wore white to her daughter-in-law’s wedding. Not only was she disrespectful during the photos but also during the actual ceremony because she was wearing the number one color you are not supposed to wear to a wedding unless you are the bride.
The same thing happened to my cousin. Hey MIL not only showed up to the wedding in a white dress. But it was also a wedding dress. My cousin wasn't gonna let that ruin her special day. So what she did was tell the photographer to just change the color of her MIL dress from white to purple. MIL was pissed when she saw the pics 😅
0:05: OP gave his brother a reality check. Sure, first time (I assume) parents are nervous, but the brother took things to the extreme. He truly is an idiot and is obviously doesn't act well in pressure situations, which doesn't bode well for the kid.
2:28: He's an old school dad who thinks he knows more than his kids. OP was right to respond the way she did, and shame on her mom for scolding her for doing so. It's about high time her parents need to realize she's all grown up now and no longer their little baby.
4:12: OP's neighbors could have avoided their dog getting "poisoned" if they helped foot the bill for a barrier as OP suggested, but no, they had to be irresponsible and entitled neighbors who refuse to take responsibility for their dog's actions. OP doesn't owe them a penny, and if persists, animal control should be called against them.
6:18: Another mother-in-law-zilla who wants to dominate her son's marriage, and typical of her mama's boy of a son to come to his mom's defense instead of his new bride's.

So the last story is a cautionary tell of why your engagement should last at least a year. Now they're going to have to go through the hassle of getting an annulment or divorce. Had they had a long engagement she would have seen MIL is a boy mom and that her fiance wouldn't be on her side in disagreements. The MIL is going to have to ruin a fewmore relationships before the hubby wakes up snd realizes that's his mother's goal in life.

The Last Story that poor woman she married a mama's boy
Story 1: Yeah of course, I’m looking after the baby right now whilst my SIL is sleeping and my brother is out shopping or something. My SIL asked me to stay with her for a couple of days
My dad said that he was out and only got home about 3 or 4 hours after my brother go there so I suppose he had a chance to calm down when my dad got home. My dad said he was acting a bit weird but he was talking and laughing and watching tv and whatever. He told my dad that he had an argument with my SIL and asked to stay for a bit he didn’t mention anything about what actually happened. Apparently they had a bit of an argument when my dad told him to go to hospital and my dad had to practically push him out the door.
Yeah I told him i’d go so he could look after his literal son but he said he needed a break. Clearly he can’t be a dad for more an hour without needing a break. She only has her parents but they live pretty far away. I won’t let her be abandoned though, I’ll just have to learn to drive so I can down to her house on my own I guess

She’s understandably really angry but she has also just had a whole baby come out of her so she’s trying not to waste any more energy thinking about it. She said she’ll speak to him soon though and they have already had an argument but she said it’s more important to look after the baby then teach my brother not to be a dick

How are you doing sweetie? How are you feeling? I hope just great!! In the very first story, Everything that the main protagonist just said about his brother is true. He abandoned his pregnant wife while she was in labor, and who in the world does something like that? He better change his ways. Don't nobody got sympathy for him just because he's crying because when his very pregnant wife really needed him, he just straight up and bailed. He better man up from now on, handle his responsibilities, and stop acting like a little kid. In the second story, she just should stay far away from them for a while because her dad was basically saying that her two college degrees in Wildlife Biology are nothing at all, and then how dare the mom even call her expecting her to apologize. She was just setting her dad straight about the field of work that she's currently in, and I bet that he knows nothing about wildlife biology at all. In the third story, are they crazzy or something because the main protagonist kept trying to warn them about their dog being in her backyard, but they didn't want to help come up with a solution in order to stop their dog from venturing into her yard so now he's sick and it's all their fault. I feel bad too that the dog got sick but at the same time the owners were to lazy to do anything to stop it. I love you my friend!! Have a great day, good night from me!! Stay safe!!

IN.FO - you were unable to get a single photo without your MIL in it, just you and your husband? And your husband thinks you're behaving badly by being upset? Has he always been a mama's boy?
Yes, I would say so. He cancels a lot of plans because his mother wants to call him.
By 'single photo' I mean a photo with the professional photographer we hired. He took photos of the ceremony and was supposed to give us a final photo for the end, but was unable to get it without my MIL. There are other photos taken by other guests or my family members, but it was not 'professionally done' and I wanted one of us(because I paid for it).
