I feel sorry and mad for the nurse and all her things missing/broken. If you love someone, you lift them up not drag them down and ruin all their favourite things. Makes me so sad. Also, she has good/healthy hobbies running, reading and baking what’s up with the guy!? How can anyone be jealous of what she’s doing?

0:05: OP's BF is so controlling and manipulating to the point that he is willing to destroy everything she loves. The BF wants OP to spend time with him 24/7. If he's as good to her as he claims to be, he would allow her to have her space and enjoy the things she loves. He need to get a life of his own. OP can give him a head start on that by kicking him to the curb.

That first story, I'm mind blown that a partner could be like that. Me and my partner both love playing video games and often play together. Sometimes though, I don't want to when he does and his response is "how is that book you're reading coming along" or "how much progress have you made on your knitting project" as he knows that will typically get me to work on my own hobbies while also allowing him to do something he enjoys as well while we just enjoy each other's company without doing anything together necessarily
The boyfriend in the first story is unbelievable. 🤦 Heaven forbid a person should have things they enjoy outside of their relationship.

Thank you for all your advice yesterday. A lot of people were very very concerned for me and that is honestly mind-blowing. If all you want is to know that I am okay, I am. If you want to know the full story, here.
I decided last night that I really needed to go get my dog, as a lot of people said that he was going to hurt her or even kill her when I wouldn’t come back. I didn’t tell him I was coming, just went with my sister and let myself in with my key. He was upstairs but came down immediately- apologizing, begging me to just talk, telling me I was overreacting, all that. I just ignored him and grabbed my puppy. I told him I was taking her and my few things and that I would be back later tomorrow (as in today) with my other sisters and brother to collect my things. I told him that if he touched anymore of my stuff, I was going to take him the small claims court like all of you suggested, and honestly I was considering it now for everything he did prior. He was so stricken and I could tell he started to get mad at that point. I ran around the house to collect my few really important things (passport, laptop, work badge). He followed me around the whole time, just begging me to give him another chance. I just ignored him. My sister took pics of the things still destroyed. He put them all in our hallway closet for some odd fucking reason.
I didn’t tell him I was going to file a police report, which is why I think when my sister started to get snappy when we were leaving, calling him a few mean names, he shoved her out of the doorway she was standing in. She fell and she wasn’t hurt or anything but it really, really proved things for me. He was willing to shove my innocent sister over a few words, and he will definitely do worse to me. He probably would’ve done worse to me if I came alone. We just immediately left after that and took my dog and my stuff back to my sisters. She helped me contact police and we have a report started- all the things he destroyed of mine, the texts admitting to it, the texts threatening me, the texts saying he would have never hurt our dog, but if it would’ve gotten me there, he would’ve done it, that he will do anything to get me back, and the small scrape my sister had on her hand when she fell. They asked if she wanted to press charges for the shove but she said no for now. The officer was really nice and he told me to write down everything that he broke and write down the prices. He said it might add up to a felony charge, if that’s the route I wanted to take with him. I’m not sure it is but at least it’s there.
That was last night. This afternoon, my brother and our friend (another man) are going to take me back to the house to pack up most of what I can. I told had my sister tell my ex bf over text that we suggest he be gone from the house for a few hours.
He responded to my sister with just horrid things about me. Calling me names that I never would have expected from him, telling her about all the intimate details of our relationship. He told her about my termination of the pregnancy, which she hadn’t known. He said he wishes he never met me. My brother is urging me to try and file a restraining order. And for those of you concerned that he was stalking me or tracking me- I had my brother check everything, and he said it all looks fine. So at least there is that.
I’m not concerned he will try and hurt me or anything when I go back to the house. Like I said, I’m going to go with my brother and a friend, both ex military. I’m going to stay with two of my sisters until I figure my shit out. My brother is insisting on staying with us, at least for a few days while everything settles. I thought I was overreacting but I think my brother honestly might be lol.
I’m mourning the loss of my two year relationship with a man who I thought was the love of my life, a man I lived with and trusted whole heartedly. But I don’t know what happened, but he just isn’t that man anymore. I think in some ways he never was. My sister made me think back on the past two years, and I can name at at least a dozen things he did to subtly “control” me. Or try too. The most terrifying part is that if I didn’t have the weird urge to post here, I probably would have let me him convince me to forgive him.
The is the worst thing that’s ever happened to me. I hope no one ever has to experience something similar. Although, I know now, this is far from rare.

The first girl needs to take legal action against him and leave asap. There's literally no happy future possible with him, he's gonna take everything from her, from simple material things to family and friends. He's crazy and I don't understand how someone can let it pass and ask for what to do on internet...
It's scary out there, never trusting anyone
First story: Sue him for property damage and emotional damage. Take pictures/record videos of everything, install smart recorder and record him in secret (if that's legal where you live) and have conversation with him, and hopefully you can get a recorded audio of him admitting to his crimes. If that isn't possible, install hidden cameras. Screenshot text messages where he admits to his actions. (If any.) Journal about when your things were last working/in good condition, and the dates of when they went missing/trashed. I know how terrible it is to have your artwork damaged. Too bad you can't sue your pets lol. (Jokes aside, whenever my artwork has gotten damaged it was my fault, because I left it out for my cats to tear. I was always nice to my cats, but it still hurts to lose artwork 💔)
Second Story: Good for you for leaving him, that man was an adult toddler 😂 (Same goes for the first of course too.)
Third Story: Leave that piece of trash so your image isn't also tarnished.
Why are you people defending such shitty partners?? If I was with someone that destroyed my shit, wasn't willing to get married AT ALL unless he got a new PC, or a guy that just makes ableist comments and tries to have shower talk with his friends, any of those types of guys would be kicked to the streets by me. But luckily I have a super supportive partner and we do this thing called COMMUNICATION. Some of these reddit people need to learn a thing or two about that...
If it were me with the first guy, he'd be leaving in a body bag.

The first story is unhinged. She wasn't going on a retreat in the middle of nowhere and leaving him for weeks, she was carrying out pretty standard hobbies of baking and journalling in the same house as her bf, likely while he was there. He probably benefited from those hobbies as well and got to enjoy some delicious baked goods, like what's the problem? And was he planning on destroying the shower/bath and toilet too, since those are things she uses without him being present? Is the washing machine at risk too, since she probably washes her clothing without him standing there and observing her the entire time? Like it truly makes no sense, and I'm glad she left him in the update and had people around to keep her safe, coz he sounds dangerous
Third story someone explain to the guy that reality is not a screen, things exist around Viv and every other blind person even tough she can't see.

Well, I'm mostl likely overreacting but I'm glad I'm single.
I enjoy customizing action figures, editing short videos, and making just having a wide imagination in general. If one day, I realized that my channels were demonitized, my crafts destroyed, or my action figures beyond repair, I'd be all crazy over it.

I don't have dreams of a big wedding, but if that's what my fiancée wanted, I'd agree, or maybe negotiate it down a bit, but I'd never flat-out refuse everything. I had a feeling it was her first relationship. She deserves better, but clearly didn't know it. I'm glad she dropped him.
He clearly had no intention of marrying OP ever. She was placeholder and to keep her happy enough he gave her a "shut up" ring, so that any time she came up with wedding plans he could say "What?! I bought you this ring! What else do you want?" Maybe not in so many words, but his absolute refusal to consider any form of celebration was speaking volumes.

In the very first story, she should just break up with him right away because he's basically trying to stop her from doing this like reading and going for jogs. Now I could see and completely understand him trying to stop her if she was always partying and drinking, bur she's not. He would have reimburse me a whole of money just for being so selfish over nothing. The only things that he liked about her was when she was completely focused on him and when she was getting it on with him. He's so evil. In the second, you've been with him for eight years why did you really thinki that you could change his mind or something? He doesn't want to get married, and so she's just completely wasted eight years of her life and I don't feel sorry for her at all. Just imagine how many times she's literally talked about with him only for him to easily reject meanwhile all of her friends might've been getting married and having chidren In the third story, the main protagonist's bouyfriend can go straight to h*ll for calling her a burden. I bet that her life is way more amazing than that d**chbag's. Just because a person has a disability that doesn't stop them for living. I am a t9 paraplegic who has travelled to so many new & exciting places, and I have done a whole lot of crazy stuff when I was a youth too, and I loved all of it. I love yoiu my dear friend!!
