The point isnt that they did it when they were teens, they felt no remorse over it
Never grew up and deserved what op gave to them.

Plus going out of your way to travel somewhere as a kid is way worse than as an adult.
Taking a trip with public transport that far would be a big chunck of my incomme as a teen, as an adult i can afford a monthly travel card.

Apologies, but I beg to differ. Please allow me to explain. The mentality is that two wrongs never make a right. What they did is very wrong, 100% agreed, but what's not OK is to take matters into your own hands like that. OP should've just left her now-ex there. By doing what he did in his teenage years (and yes, even though he still showed no remorse), how exactly is she any better now than he is? Why stoop to his level? That's the point.

@@afollowerofchrist5789I would argue, that it's not a 'wrong' for the sake of making it/revenge. It was trying to make him feel just a little of what the other kid may have felt, to hopefully tix whatever is wrong with his brain. It may have been 'wrong' but if he hadn't learned by now to feel remorse and grow up after this amount of time, this extreme action may be the only wake up call that would have driven home the point. And unfortunately it seems that he has too many enablers around him for the message to sink in, just redirect anger and minimize what he did again. She dodged a bullet, and he lost a potentially good thing by reacting the way he did. If he had acted appropriately to the wake up call....she may have reconsidered.....just saying. Yeah, two wrongs don't make a right, but a wrong and a divine intervention....meh....

All of these were perfect karma. And for the last story, poor freaking Arthur. They were already horrible to him and laughing about it as they were older. But they wished they did even worse stuff to him...How others thought OP was overreacting is beyond me. They literally said they wished they got revenge child p*rn of him to share with others since they were 14/15 years old when it happened...How the eff do people not think that was wrong? Instead, of apologizing and making amends with Arthur he tried to play the victim and "win back his ex". Get the frick out of here...

@@afollowerofchrist5789 Some people NEVER learn unless they are confronted.
I had a family member who had to deal with a bully in school. This person bullied everyone they came into contact with. Until one day they tried with my family member. The bully ended up getting punched in the face, and the end result was that they never bullied anyone again after that.
Some people need to be put in their place. It's a harsh reality otherwise they continue their behaviors.
She stuck up for the person being bullied. If she hadn't it's as if she was letting him get away with what he did.
As a scenario, let's say OP was dating him when they were 14/15 and she witnessed him actively bullying Arthur. By just leaving him that doesn't teach him anything. He probably would have kept doing it and escalated things.
She actively tried teaching him a lesson by showing him how Arthur felt. There is a difference between bullying/ catfishing someone and trying to show them how to be empathetic toward what they are putting someone else through.
There was a case caught on surveillance footage where a girl ran to a bystander at a gas station while her boyfriend was actively trying to kidnap her after he had assaulted her.
She tried to seek help from a man at the gas station pump. She was actively screaming for help right next to the man at the pump while the boyfriend grabbed her and dragged her away. And the man literally sat there and watched as this entire scenario happened.
With your mentality, the man at the pump who stared as the woman was being kidnapped was in the right because he had, "no right to take matters into his own hands."

@@afollowerofchrist5789so he can understand what it feels like. And to be fair it's nowhere near as bad as what he did to Arthur. What goes around comes around.. she decided to serve the karma 😌

    • @afollowerofchrist5789
      @afollowerofchrist5789 Місяць тому +2

@@hasinabx That's not how it works though. First, look at how long it has been since that event. 15 years, and still he thinks it's funny. To pull the same trick on him now to show him how it feels like would make absolutely no sense. It's definitely not going to change, meaning the action she took already became useless. Second of all, just because it's not as bad as what he did to Arthur still doesn't justify it. If anything, it makes things worse! It means that just because she did it for the sake of justice means that she allowed herself to lower herself to above his level and think that it's OK to do it just because it's "not as low" as he is. The better person would have left him without the need to take the completely unnecessary actions she took.
In short, her leaving him would've been the punishment itself. Why bother one's own hands like that?

I'm 23, and I wasn't much of a bully type growing up, but I did definitely say some cruel things to some people in middle school, and I still to this day think about it. The fact that those pigs had no remorse whatsoever is not only disgusting, it's disturbing.

You were an adolescent, and no middle school experience is perfectly easy and pleasant. Part of learning in every context and growing up means making mistakes and learning from them. I once stole my colleagues lunch by mistake. We had the same Tupperware. The same meal ( as the source was the same Restaurant, we had been both there and eaten the same) the difference was that my meal was süiced up a bit - with something she was allergic to. So when I ate I thought my partner had forget to put in the spice when he packed my lunch the morning. After Eating we phoned and I asked him if he had forgotten and he told me no he had put it in and did even put some herbs in as well. That moment it dawned on me.... I ran back to the kitchen where I just stopped her from taking it onto the microwave. She had not yet opened it. It told her what happened, we looked inside the box and there was herbs in the food, clearly visible. She had a very hard laugh and then exchange with another coworker. From then on, we always did put on our names onto the boxes.

I was bullied from 1st grade up to 8th grade, before i dropped out (i did go to another school and am currently doing my grade 12 year). But in grade 6, I was still a immature idiot, i had a friend group one of them bullied me the year prior, my mom went to his house we made up and became friend but that was where i made a mistake. Unconsciously me and the rest of the group stated to adopt some if his behaviour and ended up bullying as well. We bullied this girl, a bit fierce personality, but we did get to her.
I do feel bad about how we picked on her, but there is nothing i can do about it now. As soon as i see her again i will apologise.
But God humbled me rally fast because I got bullied in grade 7, after moving schools after a teacher assaulted the whole class, i got my real personality back again but every rose has its thorns ("pain" ) and after grade 7 i never bullied again, but now i jist have an annoying personality 😅😅.

Don't act like teenagers don't know what they're doing. Their brains may not be fully developed like a 25 year old's, but they still should have morals and know right from wrong.

Single quotes are a shorthand for "feet", Miss Ellen. Double quotes are for inches.
Take your height. Five feet seven inches (at a guess). In figures, that would be written as 5'7". One quote for feet, and two for inches. And if you're not 5'7", can you cut me some slack? Because I'm a tall old man, and my sense of women's heights is a little skewed.

How are you doing sweetie? How are you feeling? I hope great!! In the very first story, his boss is just a complete creep and the fact that he never has any remorse for his actions is just so disgusting too. That piece of garrbage doesn't deserve a wife at all; as a matter of fact, he deserves to be all alone because he is a looser. In the second story, so the leading man in the department was proudly stealing their food and lying straight to the main protagonist's face about it. I bet that man will never, ever take anyones food ever again because they are fixing to have a very long battle with the toliet. In the third story, she immediately should've broken up with him and walked away in disgust. I was bulllied too back when I was younger for no reason at all. I absolutely can't stand bullllys. She didn't even have to do all of that getting revvenge for Arthur because she doesn't even know who Arthur is and she didn't even know Thomas back then. She should've just packed up all of things and went back to Paris. I love you my friend!! Have a great day!! Stay safe!!
