The twists and turns in this story are honestly great. The story telling in the series is honestly pretty great, especially being in the Star Wars mythos
Cal’s penis reveal and ,furthermore, pubic hair customizations were a surprise! But also a welcome treat fans wanted and deserved in the first game!

great review, my issue with the first one is the climbing took forever but just looking at the trailers i knew that was going to be less of an issue as climbing is way faster now, environments from what little i have seen also looks amazing in this one, also love seeing the more enemy variety especially droidekas but cant wait to explore the planets we have not seen yet

This video was the first time I have had seen whether or not the cross guard parts would be customizable and I am so happy to see that they are, it was something I was really hoping to see but I haven't seen anybody who has played mention it, let alone show it! Even more excited for friday now

I haven’t finished my gameplay lay yet but I wanna state that when making a sequel, it doesn’t alway mean to improve the controls every single time. It’s ok to reuse your schematics and add more to it. That’s Jedi survivor to a T.

Downloading right now. All the reviews are universally great. So all worries are elieviated, pre order is now OK for me.

Just played it for about 2 hours.
Definitely far improved from the first. In gameplay alone, it feels WAY better.
The only thing that stuck out was the common mention of poor framerates.
So far it hasn't been unbearable. But in the opening section it runs noticeably below 60fps most of the time.
Hopefully there's a day one patch coming right away to help iron it out.
I even had a crash already. Strangely the game seemed to perform much better after a reboot.
Over the coming days and later into the game guess I'll see how it does.
Game seems amazing. Performance is currently questionable.

I was super excited about this game, then forgot about it when it got delayed and now its a Bank Holiday weekend and I've just bought the game so I'm excited and all set

I love this game. Currently doing NG + now. The couple of perks and tweaks it gives you definitely makes replayability. As a fan of star wars and the non hand holding it's a 9/10 for me. I haven't had performance issues on PS5. If your on PC I hope they get it sorted or they already have sorted it out
FWIW for anyone watching, I used crossguard a ton and loved it. It’s best utilized when paired with a very timing-based combat style-I did a lot of parry, parry, parry, and then hit SUPER hard. That clicked really well for me. But definitely a personal preference! (And better for some bosses than others.)
it'd be pretty cool if they did an early release. im pre loading now (at the time of typing this its at 51). i cant wait, ive heard nothing but good things about this! (minus some performance issues)

The download size is 105GB on Xbox Series S! Luckily it’s a little bit smaller than the PC download size, but it’s still really big!

My fav story ever has to be the knights of the old Republic era , even to this day its the best game , so hope this will blow me away😮
It just shows how well made the game is, if it's better than the films Disney has put out 🙂 sadly, I don't have the money to get a PS5. hopefully I can get it in a few years 🙂 when it comes to lightsaber styles, I'm planning to have the double-bladed as a fixed style. If this game is similar to Fallen Order, I'm guessing there will be a lot of multiple attackers in the game, which the double-bladed is suited for. Plus, I found myself using it most of Fallen Order. I like the look of the dual wield, so I might have that as my other style. But will definitely need to have a play with a blaster, and maybe the single bladed

@Liam Greer it's cheaper but also weaker. Digital ps5 is the way to go if you want a cheap and powerful console that will be able to run games well for the next 10 plus years.
To be honest, it's pretty easy to do better than Disney's sludgepipe of mediocrity.
So that in itself isn't the highest praise, being better than the Disney crap.
However, I expect this game to be MUCH better than all other Star Wars content under Disney to date. With maybe a couple exceptions of Rouge One and maybe Andor. Though I expect this to be much better than Andor.
I'm pretty excited to not only get a good game but finally get some genuinely good Star Wars.

Can I ask, does the colours look better? Thought the saber colours looked quite weak in the first game. Green being very lime green and the blue didn’t feel like Anakin or obi wans blue. Thanks
There needs to be an option added to save a load out. Like to save a custom lightsaber loadout or a custom outfit loadout or a custom BD loadout and cycle between custom Losdouts.

Palpatine will be the surprise boss something like Darth Vader the surprise boss in Fallen Order ???? Or at least he will make an appearance in some cinematic of the game ???? I hope that if he appears even in a cinematic. I don't think they go to Coruscant in the game and I don't appear in at least one hologram.

I really hope Respawn make an Old Republic or Clone Wars, fallen order style game. These games are awesome but I want different time periods for this style of Jedi game.

One of the best solo games so far. It's like tomb raider with the force and no bow. Though do wish there was more steatth to it. If you love adventure puzzle games with combat this is the game for you.

Probably not considering it isnt 2 lightsabers. Its one saber that can sit into 2.

Played it on PC. Fair few performance issues but it seems some of them have been fixed already.
It's definitely got problems on PC.
Other reviews say it performs much better on console.
It's another one of those games following the recent trend of crappy PC optimization. Hopefully they patch it up fast.
Which difficulty did you play on?
Jedi Knight. Going back through on the highest difficulty now and this game really does warrant a second playthrough given certain story elements.

Jedi survivor is a masterpiece
I can't wait for this game. I loved Fallen Order, the combat, the characters, the lore, and the overall game in general. It was my favorite star wars games ever made, and it is in my top 10 favorite games of all time.
I heard amazing reviews about Survivor, about more clean combat, expanded story and lore, and how the devs really addressed all of the major complaints about Fallen Order!
I am definitely going to main the dual-wield for the entirety of the game, as I really want to try that out. I think the most fun stance would be the blaster stance. After all, Kanan did it first.
What about the Meditation Battle arenas? I don’t remember the name but are they still in the game?
Another review said no. Meditation training is not there.
Instead there's something similar but different. Some kind of video game training in the Cantina or something.

I know for the Star Wars fans who don’t play the games might not agree, but the future of Star Wars is in the games. The shows are hit or miss, the movies from Disney have been terrible or decent, but the games have an incredibly bright future.

What about loading times? On PS4 fallen order was pretty rough for loading times.
The loading times are definitely faster in my experience after about 10 hours. I’m playing on of btw.
