- LEGO Star Wars has been eating up HOURS of my life, but one thing always bugged me about the game... jumping. Jumping is lame. Defying Gravity is lame. You can't jump in real life. Unbelievable. Unrealistic. No more jumping.

The jumping into ships criteria actually doesn't matter since you don't need to jump in your ship to leave and continue the story, just open the holoprojector and select your location
8:23 that idea is literally a gimmick in LSW:TCS. In the Phantom Menace chapter there are sections where you need to get on a box as a force user whilst the other force user gets on another box. Then they both force each other up. GENIUS!

**QUICK CORRECTION**
While working on part two, I realized my game was HELLA bugged, and you actually are able to switch from Obi Wan during free play on High Ground, two jumps are still required in the climb, but it lowers our FP total to 4, sorry!

Not really. The plot for the prequels is rather complicated and everything that happened in the movies had some kind of meaning. It wasn’t just walking back and fourth especially not in ROTS

Yeah... Unfortunately all the effort in this game went into the overworld. The actual story missions are horribly short and disinteresting. I mean... The new Negotiations is literally just walk down a hallway and back. The only level in the entire prequel trilogy that ever felt like a classic Lego SW level was Droid Factory.
That is the definition of commitment man! I do NOT have that level of patience, so watching this gives me such confidence in myself to try harder. (PS: I would love to see you do the other trilogies)

Don't worry, you're not alone on the Droid factory performance issues. I dropped framerate and even crashed after the mission ended (yes it did save) and I was running the 3080 I'd just installed to my computer that week.
I thought I was the only one and thought my computer is going to explode haha ;)
Same I thought my xbox wasn't doing what it normally did. Too many moving parts I guess

I love these types of challenge videos, I enjoyed watching Rocket Sloth do similar challenges for the Halo games, and I'm glad other UA-camrs are doing similar things to that.

When he got to the droid factory I had flashbacks to when I was trying everything in my power to increase frames. That level is miserable, not because it's hard, but because how poorly optimized it is.

You have no idea how many kyber bricks the force box trick breaks since you can lift boxes higher than you can lift characters directly.

For minor things like higher ledges you could use the super gnk droid extra for the elevation you get after getting of the gnk.

You should make a video about beating Balan Wonderworld without jumping since that game is infamous for having powerup that do not let you jump because of Yuji Naka’s decision to stick to one button, which he perfected in the Sonic games on the Sega Genesis.
Original Trilogy and Sequel Trilogy will definitely present a problem when required to use the Scavenger's glide ability. Original trilogy introduces scavengers with Episode 6 on Endor and Sequel Trilogy has you playing as Rey immediately where you will be required to use the glide ability in the fetch scrap quest. Good luck figuring those out.
