I love both of these channels.
I have an idea for a new reaction channel. I am working on it with my nephew. Nobody else is doing anything like it. I've looked and can't find anything that is even close to the idea.
We are hoping to get it started in February or March after I get my EP released and have a little more time.
kind of looking forward to joining the "reaction channels" family.
Don't know why I felt compelled to even post this, but there it is...

you're hilarious! this song came out years before Ice Baby. Rap artists sample rock bass riffs. It's what they do. They are quite talented with what they can do with it - but the grungy riffs need to exist first. Beastie Boys used the drums from Zepplin's When Levee Breaks, Ton Loc used Van Halen's Janey's Crying drums and guitar "waah pedal" distortion in Wild Thing. MC Hammer used SuperFreak for his song. There are many others.
But I will say - watching you young millenials all listen to this song for the first and time and flip out has become a guilty pleasure of mine. Yours was hysterical.

    "Under Pressure"
    Pressure: pushing down on me,
Pressing down on you, no man ask for.
Under pressure that burns a building down,
    Splits a family in two,
    Puts people on streets.
    That's OK.
    That's the terror of knowing
    What this world is about.
    Watching some good friends screaming,
    "Let me out!"
    Tomorrow gets me higher.
Pressure on people, people on streets.
    OK.
Chippin' around, kick my brains 'round the floor.
These are the days: it never rains but it pours.
    People on streets.
    People on streets.
    It's the terror of knowing
    What this world is about.
    Watching some good friends screaming,
    "Let me out!"
Tomorrow gets me higher, higher, high!
Pressure on people, people on streets.
Turned away from it all like a blind man.
Sat on a fence, but it don't work.
Keep coming up with love, but it's so slashed and torn.
    Why, why, why!?
    Love, love, love, love, love.
    Insanity laughs under pressure.
    We're breaking.
Can't we give ourselves one more chance?
Why can't we give love that one more chance?
Why can't we give love, give love, give love, give love, give love, give love, give love, give love, give love?
'Cause love's such an old-fashioned word,
And love dares you to care for the people on the edge of the night,
And love dares you to change our way of caring about ourselves.
    This is our last dance.
    This is our last dance.
    This is ourselves.

"Under Pressure" is a song by the British rock band Queen and singer David Bowie. Originally released as a single in October 1981, it was later included on Queen's 1982 album Hot Space. The song reached number one on the UK Singles Chart, becoming Queen's second number-one hit in their home country (after 1975's "Bohemian Rhapsody", which topped the chart for nine weeks) and Bowie's third (after the 1975 reissue of "Space Oddity" and "Ashes to Ashes" in 1980). The song charted in the top 10 in more than ten countries around the world, and peaked at No. 29 on the US Billboard Hot 100 in January 1982.
The song has been described as a "monster rock track that stood out" on the Hot Space album, as well as "an incredibly powerful and poignant pop song". It was listed at number 31 on VH1's 100 Greatest Songs of the '80s, and voted the second best collaboration of all time in a poll by Rolling Stone magazine. It was played live at every Queen concert from 1981 until the end of the band's touring career in 1986. Live recordings appear on the Queen live albums Queen Rock Montreal and Live at Wembley '86. The song was included on some editions of Queen's first Greatest Hits compilations, such as the original 1981 Elektra release in the US. It is included on the band's compilation albums Greatest Hits II, Classic Queen, and Absolute Greatest as well as Bowie compilations such as Best of Bowie (2002), The Platinum Collection (2005), Nothing Has Changed (2014), Legacy (2016), and Re:Call 3 (2017).
Queen had been working on a song called "Feel Like", but were not satisfied with the result. David Bowie had originally gone to Mountain Studios to sing backing vocals on another Queen song, "Cool Cat", but his vocals were removed from the final song because he was not satisfied with his performance. Once he got there, they worked together for a while and wrote the song. The final version, which became "Under Pressure", evolved from a chance encounter jam session that Bowie had with the band at Queen's studio in Montreux, Switzerland. It was credited as being co-written by the five musicians. The scat singing that dominates much of the song is evidence of the jam-beginnings as improvisation. However, according to Queen bassist John Deacon (as quoted in a French magazine in 1984), the song's primary musical songwriter was Freddie Mercury - though all contributed to the arrangement. As Brian May recalled to Mojo magazine in October 2008, "It was hard, because you had four very precocious boys and David, who was precocious enough for all of us. David took over the song lyrically. Looking back, it's a great song but it should have been mixed differently. Freddie and David had a fierce battle over that. It's a significant song because of David and its lyrical content." The earlier, embryonic version of the song without Bowie, "Feel Like", is widely available in bootleg form, and was written by Queen drummer Roger Taylor.
There has also been some confusion about who had created the song's bassline. John Deacon said (in Japanese magazine Music life in 1982) that David Bowie created it. In more recent interviews, Brian May and Roger Taylor credited the bass riff to Deacon. Bowie, on his website, said the bassline was already written before he became involved. Roger Taylor, in an interview for the BBC documentary Queen: the Days of Our Lives, stated that Deacon did indeed create the bassline, stating that all through the sessions in the studio he had been playing the riff over and over. He also claims that when the band returned from dinner, Deacon, amusingly, forgot the riff, but fortunately Taylor was still able to remember it. Brian May clarified matters in a 2016 Mirror Online article, writing that it was actually Bowie, not Taylor, who had inadvertently changed the riff. The riff began as "Deacy began playing, 6 notes the same, then one note a fourth down". After the dinner break, Bowie changed Deacon's memory of the riff to "Ding-Ding-Ding Diddle Ing-Ding".
"Ice Ice Baby" is a hip hop song written by American rapper Vanilla Ice, K. Kennedy, and DJ Earthquake. It was based on the bassline of "Under Pressure" by Queen and David Bowie, who did not receive songwriting credit or royalties until after it had become a hit. Released on his debut album, To the Extreme, it is his best known song. It has appeared in remixed form on Platinum Underground and Vanilla Ice Is Back! A live version appears on the album Extremely Live, while a nu metal version appears on the album Hard to Swallow, under the title "Too Cold".
"Ice Ice Baby" was first released as the B-side to Vanilla Ice's cover of "Play That Funky Music", but the single was not initially successful. When disc jockey David Morales played "Ice Ice Baby" instead, it began to gain success. "Ice Ice Baby" was the first hip hop single to top the Billboard Hot 100. Outside the United States, the song topped the charts in Australia, Belgium, the Netherlands, New Zealand, Ireland and the United Kingdom, thus helping the song diversify hip hop by introducing it to a mainstream audience.
After audiences began to view Van Winkle as a novelty act and a pop star rather than a legitimate rapper, his popularity began to decline. Detroit-based rapper Eminem states that when he first heard "Ice Ice Baby", "I felt like I didn't want to rap anymore. I was so mad, because he was making it real hard for me." Van Winkle lost some credibility among hip hop fans, but later began to regain some success, attracting a new audience outside of the mainstream audience that had formerly accepted him and then rejected him. "Ice Ice Baby" continues to be the song that Van Winkle is best known for internationally, although Van Winkle states that his American fans like his newer music better.
According to Rolling Stone, the "Ice Ice Baby"-"Under Pressure" controversy is a landmark music copyright case, since it "sparked discussion about the punitive actions taken in plagiarism cases". The magazine's Jordan Runtagh added: "Though Vanilla Ice paid the price, some argue that isn't enough to make up for the potential credibility lost by Queen and David Bowie, who are now linked to him through a collaboration they had no choice in joining."
A live version of the song appeared on the album Extremely Live. "Ice Ice Baby" was rerecorded in a nu metal version titled "Too Cold". Originally intended to be released as a hidden track or B-side, "Too Cold" was featured on Van Winkle's 1998 album Hard to Swallow, and became a radio hit in some markets. In 2000, a remix titled "Ice Ice Baby 2001" was released in Europe as a single, with a newly produced music video. The remix generated new international interest in Van Winkle's music.
VH1 and Blender ranked "Ice Ice Baby" fifth on its list of the "50 Most Awesomely Bad Songs Ever". It was also given the distinction by the Houston Press as being the worst song ever to emanate from Texas. In 1999, the song's music video was "retired" on the MTV special 25 Lame, in which Van Winkle himself appeared to destroy the video's master tape. Given a baseball bat, Van Winkle ended up destroying the show's set. However, in December 2007, VH1 ranked the song in 29th place of their 100 Greatest Songs of the 90's.
In November 2011 MTV Dance ranked "Ice Ice Baby" at No. 71 in their list of "The 100 Biggest 90's Dance Anthems Of All Time".
In 1991, Alvin and the Chipmunks released a cover version entitled "Ice Ice Alvin" for their album The Chipmunks Rock the House. "Weird Al" Yankovic included the chorus as the final song in "Polka Your Eyes Out", the polka medley from his 1992 album Off the Deep End. In 2004, the song was featured in the film 13 Going on 30. In 2010, the song was featured in the Glee episode "Bad Reputation" as performed by Will Schuester (Matthew Morrison).

Bowie was supposed to sing background on a different Queen song but removed himself from it because he didn't like his performance. But!! While there - they kinda jammed singing other peoples songs. They were doing a ton of coke & drinking wine!! Bowie said "lets just write one!! Queens unreleased song "Feel Like" is what they worked on. Deacon kept playing the bass line which he forgot during dinner 🤣 but got it back with one slight change. They couldn't agree on how the song should sound so Bowie said let's each go in the booth & record our part out own way without hearing the other. Freddie sang the playful improvisons with the ba-ba-ba. Bowie made powerful lyrical change. The song almost didn't make it because there was a battle of wills. You can hear the different style between the two. They left it that way. The result of 5 amazing artists collaborating in a jam session putting their magical touches of Freddie being light, David having a bit of doom, & Deacon's bass line on a piece of music became the masterpiece "Under Pressure."
Listen to the song again & read the lyrics sometime Leo - it's really cool. David sang it at Freddie's tribute after his death at Wembley with the great Annie Lennox. It's worth your time to watch.
