I've loved all your videos and thats the sickest toy sword Ive ever seen from one of my favourite games of all time, so I got one with your code. Thanks for being a great youtuber Sam
I don't even know what to say at this point, you just keep putting out high quality videos about Cyberpunk. This game is an infinite wealth of knowledge and content.
No we would miss out because he wouldn't be covering this stuff for the next game. Also, i play a lot of games, but I'm absolutely not qualified to work as a game dev
If memory serves I had a build with enough in throwing knives, [silenced] pistols, and swords then I could get by ... so as other posters have pointed out "yes". I like throwing knives but I had problems maintaining stealth a lot as a small miss may not always give you follow-up time. Silenced pistols are definitely easier -- a dash with Korenzikov (sp?) will buy you plenty of time to take down at least yellow [maybe red?] skull enemies without having to sweat things. Finally swords are just cool and best paired for high end Sandys ... so you gotta do it sometime :)
You can do sword and throwing knives combo and goin full reflex cyberware and critical change is crazy fun and strong and a blade is a good one to add and maybe some gorilla arms to finish the build
I found Contagion in combination with the 11:6 Assault Rifle quite memorable, especially when the enemy is clustered in a group. Use Contagion, wait till it has spread to a few people and then fire a burst into the group. The effect is so spectacular that usually only limbs and torsos are left, nearby cars just join the happy fray. You need to be in the high 20s for this to work.
I dare say there was rarely a question I had about Cyberpunk 2077 that couldn't find the answer in a video of yours, certainly the best Cyberpunk content on YT! Cheers mate!
Wanted to add, that LMG, with BODY+Movement build is very fun actually. You don't have to be slow-moving 3d printer of bullets on legs - dash into the enemy and blast em point blank. But yea, i wish there were more of these.
I love the iconoclastic look of an old-fashioned gunslinger in the far-flung cyber-future, armed only with his trusty Sovereign, Archangel, and a Bible, roaming the Badlands righting wrongs and preaching the Word. Hell yeah.
Speaking of, I’m personally running a build that values versatility above all else. Net running for now is not too much in my interest, so here it is: 20 in body, reflexes and tech, with 18 in cool. I overall think all my iconic pistols revolvers, snipers, precision rifles have perfectly optimal crit damage when it comes to weak spots and headshots, even without the level 20 cool perks. I’d like to know 2 things: what’s the difference between yellow and red crit damage? Also, is 20 in body better for versatility than 20 cool?
Agreed. The only place I felt really weak was the Smasher fight but then I found out you could do sneak takedowns so investing in cool is till worth it.
Quickhacks are so OP that after over 120 hours of playing, I just barely got the achievement for melee kills (and that just because I finally broke down and installed the monowire), and still haven't gotten the achievement for gun kills. I don't even keep weapons equipped.
try a sandevistan or even chrome compressor build. it completely changes the dynamic of how you approach combat situations when you don't have quickhacks to fall back on. I liked being a magic hacker wizard too but goddamn there is just something uniquely fun and special about a sandevistan blade build. a berserk OS is super fun too with a shotty/lmg build, you feel like an absolute tank
The blunt weapons don't have enough cool factor and they're super slow a lot, I want to feel fast. But in a "Get Physical" build, that shit DOES feel good.
I started playing cyberpunk a couple of weeks ago and I love this game and your videos. I play on ps4 so I play on 1.6 but still love this game and I couldn't thank you enough for keeping the 1.6 build vids up cause you really helped me and I love the quiant mk 4 2 second cool down build. Your my favorite cp2077 youtuber.
Credit to you man, the rankings of the weapons have been great, and for some reason I truly feel this video makes it all come full circle. Feels nova choom.
I haven’t played this in a few weeks I’m gonna jump back in today. This is one of my favorite games of all time I see a video I guess so hyped up to play it. I’ll be phantom liberty, but I haven’t finished the main store yet. I gotta work on that.
Love your content! Can I request you do an underwater secrets video? It seems like there should be a lot down there but I trust you be able to list it all in a cohesive way that we would all benefit from.
Best weapons are your fists, clearly. Jokes aside, I wish semi auto weren't fire rate capped, if my finger is faster on the trigger it should reward me accordingly
i remember thinking at the start of 2.0 that SMGs suck now because they felt really weak at first glance while consuming lots of ammo, "why would i shoot a enemy 10 times with this gun if i could shoot them once with another gun?" but after discovering how immense the buffs from the reflex perk tree are they have honestly become my favorite weapon type in the whole game. I still love the other weapons and some like shotguns or snipers dont even need their perks to be good so usually smg's are the ones i invest my points in (which also pairs nicely because i could never run with anything less than 15 reflex for the air dash)
I am very sorry to repeat myself, but your videos are awesome - both for the amount of work you put in but also how pleasant they are to watch. Continue what you are doing, you have a true talent
I stand by non element gorilla arms being the best. Non lethal, works in beat on the brat, gives alternative options for infiltrate missions, no ammo, and minimal investment into the tree sees the largest return per point. 5-10 body on any build can make fisticuffs a viable fallback in any situation. This regularly results in me having a blade gorilla arms a sniper and primary gun of personal choice. Even my pure hacker/ crafter ran them on my first playthrough.
Starts video, sees precision rifle on the bottom of the list 😅I loved precision rifles at the beginning was using an iconic though, widow maker and achilles. I used them like pistols essentially. I changed my weapons a lot more early on because of the lower inventory at the time and also learning to play the game and seeing what I liked. That being said, my gun of choice these days have been PISTOLS hands down. I like the mix of damage and precision. My current loadout usually includes 1 regular pistol and then 1 pistol with muzzle for stealth but am not specing much in COOL so my weapons and perk points don't match for my weapons :( I do enjoy throwing knives, katana, shotguns sometimes and alternate between each other. I'm terrible at keeping a good aim (recoil) on rifles and assault guns even though I like the idea of them, I just can't down enemies well with them at all.
Currently on my first ever playthrough & my V is a sneaky netrunner with 20 int, 20 tech & 20 cool. She uses quickhacks, then one shots any survivors with Resetsu or a silenced Cheetah pistol if they get closer & if they get too close, she pulls out her DB2 Satara shotgun to blast them into little pieces. Just finished Phantom Liberty & I'm loving it so far.
I was originally a Netrunner, but the updates threw me off my groove, so I restarted and went as a Headhunter/Shinobi/Solo. Try to be quiet with Errata as my primary, whip out Sandy when I need to go loud, and have Widowmaker and Chaos as secondarys when I need to by time to get my health back. Haven't regretted that decision since.
Netrunner is substantially more powerful now than it ever has been, honestly easily the strongest build in the game because it's the only one that trivializes very hard.
My first and main playthrough using the strength perks as a base was the most fun for me and when 2.0 hit and I could use enemies as weapons fell for it more. pairing a malay build with the sovereign and a revolver just made the game flow well, then in phantom liberty with the iconic axe for more stealth alone side jakies pistol, the game felt like it was mine. From sir john to gorilla arms and even a lead pipe i've pummelling the gangs and bosses of night city and laughed maniacally all the way. I recommend it if you want a new playthrough for this 4 year old game.
the hands cyberware that creates electrical pulse after reload + firestarter and instakill mod on single shot dubble barrel shotgun is basicly the old comrade hammer but with more explosions and sparks and faster reload
@filippachta1201 The cyberware is called Micro generator and the best way to use it is a Legendary Testera with Micro generator, The Shock and Awe Cyberware, and the Firecracker mod
I've pretty well settled on a pistol/smg/sword/gorilla arms combo. Pistol for stealth, smg for crowds, and sword and arms for changing the pace and getting xp from alternate tracks.
Flat out wrong about throwing weapons. Literally dont need stealth and can wipe entire groups of enemies and trivialise some bosses. Probably one of my quickest play throughs wad using knives
Deadass. I've done it so many times just dashing, jumping, sliding, slashing, stabbing and throwing. He gets it wrong quite often but this is probably the only decent Cyberpunk channel.
Finally a video on Class Consciousness! Joking aside, the only time I use a precision rifle is when it's tech and essentially noscope as a shotty with a higher rate of fire. I basically ignore assault rifles in favor of SMGs. I'm presently running a blunt weapons with Submachine Fun. Usually I just use my electric gorilla arms, but Baby Boomer has a pretty skin to it, so I use that too even though i don't like bat animations. Raiju is my go-to, paired with Fenrir. I used to use shotguns but they're actually too strong! The Guts-jump is fun though.
Man I love cyberpunk so much. I never followed the genre before release so i don't know there's so much hype behind it. I just bought it because it looks cool. And I actually looking forward to the bugs during patch 1.06 funny enough the only bug i get is people start T posing and V suddenly naked. I don't even make any build for my first run just pick a gun and blasting no perk added Now I try many build, follow the lore and many other. I'm glad i bought this game
I think that throwing knives are the superior stealth weapon. They are silenced out of the box, deal an immense amount of damage and have a larger hit box than a bullet which makes them easier to use than pistols that share the same range as throwing knives. And aiming with knives is easier because nothing is blocking your view in the center of the screen like with pistols or snipers. And they work perfectly with sandy if you use the instant return perk.
@@maskedman5657 there is a perk that makes knives return instantly on a kill or a critical hit. Considering that in stealth you one tap enemies that shouldn't be a problem. Also knives easily oneshot enemies even without stealth, but later in the game.
@@maskedman5657hell naw. I use swords, knives and pistols and when it's time to shoot a sniper from a long distance I always go to my Punknife wit 2 ZeroG mods on it. I got clips of it.
@@maskedman5657 well for me scopes only make it worse. Anyway when you are in stealth enemies are barely moving so hitting them is easy regardless of your weapon.
The problem with bullet sponge games like CP 2077 is regular weapons like Assault rifles and precision rifles won't work. i know the game is a futuristic fantasy almost-arcade game, but standing 2 feet from an enemy and mag dumping is so patently ridiculous immersion breaking that stupid mechanics like "smart" weapons or ricocheting off the pavement seem necessary (at least as far as CDPR is concerned). I'll continue with AR's and precision rifles at normal difficulty. How many times do I have to headshot an enemy before they die? 5 times 10 times? Being ridiculously overpowered is BORING. Although i do love katanas!
I kinda wish revolvers falls into reflex tree. Since you can't stealth with revolver anymore, the only option is gunz blazing. Really fit with SMGs & AR dashing around playstyle
I feel like i definitely dont need to run stealth on a normal difficulty playthrough, but something is just fun going through one shotting enemies silently. It's a little more engaging than just hacking the cameras and hacking everyone to death from a hiding spot.
Dude knives are the only things that stun MaxTac with one hit. And many of the perks for them are open combat perks. To be honest its probably the most versatile weapon with 2 Zero G mods on a Punknife you have sniper. I even have videos of me clearing a whole enemy base with just a Punknife. They had 2 snipers and I was able to have a sniper battle with them from sniper range while keeping off enemies that were closer. Im thinking about uploading. Yall are playing this game limited asf.
Prejudice is actually great, possibly the best stealth weapon in the game. It's so good that I even changed the build of one of my characters who was previously using Pride.
Thank you for this extensively researched and masterfully presented video. I have been playing netrunners for years, and I am a fan of the monowire, especially with the relic tree perk. A thermal monowire equipped with Cripple Movement, and paired with judicious applications of Overheat, can for example wipe the mantis blade's Maxtac operator in mere seconds.
Think my favorite is going to go to the knives, most consistent in every aspect from stealth to open combat and just pure badassery. “Only thing you gotta know about knives puto… they’re easy to conceal….and they never run out of bullets”
In regards to blocking bullets, you can actually do so as much as you want provided you level up reflexes to 20. Once you do, you'll be able to unlock a perk that restores stamina every time you air dash and/or double jump. So you can block just as many bullets as you want so long as you time your double jump/air dash correctly (FYI you can also block bullets in the air, just keep holding down blcok), in fact anytime I notice my health is low and I'm out of healing items, I usually do this until my health goes back up... plus if you reflect the bullets back at whoever is shooting you, they'll eventually get low enough in health that you should be able to use a finisher on them which you can also use to restore health.
My favorite weapons are definitely the "stealth" enabled weapons -- Throwing Knives, silenced pistols, and Overwatch. I can often reduce a lot of the headache & heartache with these sorts of weapons and can often bypass things that are annoying to brute force though. Then again I'm planning a Shotgun build and a Blunt Weapon [Savage sling] sort of build so going loud isn't necessarily bad.
one of my favorite runs i have ever done (out of like 6 billion runs) was a full on blunt melee + shotguns. i felt (and almost was) effectively immortal and with the right combo was two shotting max tac all day long. it was so much god damn fun.
My new fave combo is lvl 5 Bait, Request Backup, Contagion and then either Overheat or just squish melons with a silenced fully tarted up Seraph or Psalm and watch the limbs fly! 😁
My current favorite build is a stealth pistol build with optimal camo, especially early game I will use La Chingona Dorada with a silencer until I can get Her Majesty or Pride. Then I like to use Archangel as my out of stealth gun and Scalpel as my melee weapon. When I use the sword its usually to take out big enemies where my guns are less effective so the kill first requirement of Byakko is pretty inconvenient for me. Also throwing weapon builds are some of the most fun I have had in the game except they have the Achilles heel of being truly horrible against mechanical enemies.
I am gonna say that this more than other tierlists is really subjective and really dependant on what game difficulty you play (I don't play on very hard because it is bullet spongy as hell almost all the way to the endgame). I used to really like snipers before 2.0 but haven't really enjoyed them since because they are really boring. I'll agree that the LMGs, PRs and ARs are probably the worst weapon classes though and it's mostly because the support for them is lacking. I also think that throwing weapons are so incredibly enjoyable that they might be my absolute top of the list on hard.
Yea I would like to know what criteria he prioritized the most for these list. He said the knives aren't meant for open combat when many of its perks are specifically used best in open combat like Juggler and Style Over Substance. They are the only thing that stuns Maxtac other than nades and they do both melee and ranged. With 2 ZeroG mods you basically have infinite sniper ammo and if you use Kerinzikov it is reliably good for sniper battles. You can even quick throw after a dodge to activate Kerinzikov for a sword if you swap to it. You can also extend your Vanishing Act activated Optical Camo with Kerinzikov and still use your Arm Cyberware. If he started a discord he'd probably make more objectively accurate videos. I noticed many people in his comments telling him about things he gets wrong.
@@s3eriousbl9ck26 You have so many modifiers to crit damage (headshot), at least one of which is +20% crit dmg and it stacks 5 times, that I just disagree it is hard to oneshot, even on very hard, with knives. Including that you have +25% out of combat to just the dmg of the knife, which is then amplified by the crit multiplier further. Add onto this how gag order works and you find that its not that difficult to remain undetected even in the middle of large amounts of enemies. With how mitigation further increases your detection time, the fact you are most likely running active camo on a cool build. I'm a bit biased as i primarily play throwing knife in this game, and after 2.0 i don't even really use blades anymore due to the general inefficiency of it in comparison. Part of the reason I prefer knives over say pistols, for example, (and something Sam doesn't really mention in this video also) is because of how they interact with the sandevistan. If i slow time to the level of the apogee sandevistan, then pistol shots will take a good deal of time to hit their mark, which in turns makes using the sandevistan with the pistol to clear large groups rather ineffective, or any gun really save a shotgun. On the other hand, knives move at more or less the same speed while time is slowed (don't ask me why thats just how the game works lol) so the amount of enemies you can kill, especially when considering perks like sleight of hand and juggler, is much much higher in my opinion than even using blades.
@@coolkieth696969first off, who said anything about one shot? I said it's the only reliable way to stun Maxtac. Notice I mentioned Juggler and Style Over Substance are put to better use in combat. So try not to misrepresent what I said then attack it while ignoring key points I made.
@@coolkieth696969yea you're lying. Knives move way slower with Sandy on and pistols only shoot a little slower but that's another perk about my LeXMod2. It keeps some speed if you shoot semi. I have video footage of my LeXMod2 clearing groups. Speaking of which, now I see why you brought up the Crit modifiers you gain in stealth. That's good and all but that doesn't change the fact that Juggler is better used with Style Over Substance guaranteeing crits which works with the Mitigation you get from Cool tree that is best used in combat since it would barely be used in stealth. Also you left out the part whr most pistols have atleats +100% or more headshot damage. You could save a perk points and just carry the extra headshot damage into combat with both your pistol and your knife and 20% headshot damage from Cyberware Stat Modifiers isn't hard to get at all. I walk around with 311% on my LeXMod2 and 286% on my Punknife. They do even more with Sandy active so you must be a pretty bad shot. You also lied about them oneshotting. I have video footage of my Punknife killing in one shot. I stacked Headshot Damage to carry over into combat. Once you do that your Knives knock off 10-17% damage to Maxtac on headshots. That's more damage than Pride does in stealth or with Sandy active. Hell my headshot damage is so high Prides is maxed out. My LeXMod2 can just about kill a Maxtac officer in one clip. I got footage of that as well just ask and I'll post the. link them here. See y'all think y'all builds and playstyles are the only ways to play. You do know that you can build a specific way and then balance things out with Cyberware and the Stat Modifiers that come with them? Only on VH do you have to build one or two easy per OS and play them all one way which is cheese every fight. Once you start ACTUALLY playing then you can actually give better advice. As I said I run Pistols Knives and Swords and all my weapons get love in combat. Knives and swords can be used in combat with just perks from their tree. Certain pistols can too but mine was the
@@s3eriousbl9ck26 if you watch the video that were commenting on... there is a part where he talks about cons of knives as NOT being good at one shotting... only reason I brought it up because i DISAGREE that they have trouble one shotting. Yes I play the game VH so no pistols, while the HS dmg is nice, you lose almost all of the out of combat perks and having to reload can fuck you up, esp during time slow. Unless you run a silencer (cuts dmg by a decent amount) you auto lose stealth when you shoot them, even if its a one shot kill, then you add in how many less people you can take out during one sande with pistols vs kinves. I didnt even say its the BEST build because tbh the way the game is made literally NO build outperforms max INT quickhacks. the enemies have almost no counterplay and you just get a self ice. You get so many headshot modifiers switching to pistols just before the fight (to again lose the out of combat modifier) is just not how I play the game. There isn't a wrong way, but the way I build its just not how I like to do things . I don't consider using the game's mechanics for stealth (of which they aren't even THAT robust) is cheesing the fights lol but if you do i guess good for you. I could tell you that playing the game on anything that isn't Very Hard is cheesing the game too LOL its just silly argument, we both paid for the game and its made for enjoyment at the end of the day The highest crit modifer for any of the pistols in the game is 200%, the knives i currently use have 150% modifiers... simple math shows that you are lying lol its only 50% max increase and the dmg per shot is almost a hundred pts less dmg, only one pistol has 200% headshot multiplier too and it only has 20 shot clip. In total there are 6 pistols that have more HS than the best knives and they ALL do far less dmg per shot, have to reload, and need to further decrease dmg per shot by using a silencer to be effectively utilizing your out of combat dmg perks. the over DPS is just lower, unless you specfically play alex's gun, but you cant even get the gun until PL anyways so its not like you can utilize those perks, not to mention that the camo thing is just a worse version of style over substance anyways. it gives crit shots on headshots when in camo, but you get that without having to be in camo all the time using knives lol there is also imo nothing comparable to the agau taking out an entire troop of like 9 or 10 robots with ONE HEADSHOT because of the electric exlplosion on crit that it gives you, I dont think there is a single pistol that will one shot an entire group of robots.
At the moment, I'm fully spec'ed into Cool; so having a heavy hitting gun, for when things go loud, that works with my perks is a God send. Achilles x-mod 2 is fantastic. I just wish there was an iconic with a silencer
Hey Sam, where did you get your wall art set from behind you in the promo for the weapons if you dont mind my asking? cheers! edit nevermind I see the link is in the description as well. double edit It links to your wall on displate but its empty?
i ran a 20 body 20 cool build last time so i could switch inbetween throwing and smashing and I found out that you can pick up the heavy lmg while berserk is equipped xD
Keep in mind these videos usually are based heavily off his opinion and own experience. You'll notice in his comment sections he gets corrected a lot. His ranking criteria is usually inconsistent and he's wishy washy with what's valued so it's best to take the real facts and throw out the rest of just watch for entertainment. There's only 2 arm Cyberware that can become main weapons and only one is good without committing lots of perk points so how is arm Cyberware over any weapon? How is Quickhacks number one when it's locked behind 1 OS?
@@fysiotherapeft2272lmao wrong as hell. I literally only use projectile launcher 🤣🤣🤣 I can upload videos if you'd like just to make you feel more foolish. Fact is I do this combat shit so I don't play about my tools of destruction. Tell me you rely on your OS without telling me. Better yet keep that old ass remark in the past. Social media played that out a couple years ago 😂😂
Revolvers were definitely the hardest to rank for me, cuz like they have genuinely one of the best lists of iconics (mancinella, archangel, amnesty, etc.) but they don’t fit into the standard archetype of build so they kinda get relegated down. I personally would put them above throwing and even blunt weapons, due to the fact that they alone can make a broken build as good as most of the top tier classes.
I had alot a fun doing an assault/stealth,kitana pistol build. I would sneak around headshotting people with the silenced pistol or whip out the ak if I got caught or got bored. If I wanted to just annihilate the room I would activate sandevistan and just slice people to ribbons. Plus I could wild west blow people away with revolvers too just to mix it up
I want to try a playthrough where I start right from the end of Act 1, with no NCPD scanners/gigs completed. And with EVERY weapon already obtained (but not upgraded). Will just need to spawn the weapons in with CET and grab a mod that allows infinite attribute respecs.
Dude I run a blunt weapons build and it’s the best performing build by far. You gain stamina, health, health regen, health item cooldown. What else is there to say? Blunt weapons are severely under rated.
a nicely ranged and modded (and if preferred, silenced) assault rifle outweighs any precision rifle in my opinion (i usually go for an ajax, sometimes a kyubi). i usually combine that with a ranged and silenced high damage pistol (nue) and a smart weapon to clean up larger groups (i swing between a yukimura or a zhuo)
Currently playing a Sandi + katana / throwing weapons / pistol build with the option to use a sniper here and there. I just switch between Byakko (for crowds), scalpel (for tougher enemies) and Satori (ind combination with Nehan for boss fights). And I just looove Johnny's Malorian
Every time I pick up Cyberpunk 2077, I end up gravitating to one of the Cyberdecks. I know the value of Berserk, Sandevistan, and even the Compressed Coprocessor. However, what ends up being most fun for me is having the ability to maximize my interaction with Night City in ways only a Cyberdeck truly can. Sometimes I'm a tanky shotty solo with support; sometimes I'm a whirling dervish of blades and throwing knives with debuffing; sometimes I'm just a pure netrunner. Whatever style of play I end up going, nor whatever weapon I end up choosing as my primary, Cyberdeck will always be my go-to operating system. It's how I have the most fun. :)
1000rpm plus 23% faster firing from swapping and extreme crit chance 100% at 100yrds and a lot up close still and so I dash back and spray with continuous crits absolutely insane then I switch to my next lower fire rate but still good with swapping increase with the explodey upgrade thing, amazing
I've been using archangel with 20 cool and all of the pistol skills and apogee sandy with axolotl and holy shit that has got to be the most fun build I've used, and really good if you hit headshots

You can do sword and throwing knives combo and goin full reflex cyberware and critical change is crazy fun and strong and a blade is a good one to add and maybe some gorilla arms to finish the build
That's why I use all three but it's really between them. I would throw Gorilla Arms up there as well but the other Arm Cyberware don't compare.

Quickhacks turns combat into a puzzle game and I still respect that design decision
Every time you upload a gameplay based video it makes my day genuinely
Wanted to add, that LMG, with BODY+Movement build is very fun actually. You don't have to be slow-moving 3d printer of bullets on legs - dash into the enemy and blast em point blank.
But yea, i wish there were more of these.
Right. I think he forgets about a lot of the perks when discussing these videos
Shame that the MA70 HB no longer triggers pyromania.

A pistol build is so addicting-but man assault rifles feel so clean and powerful.
I think they are on me of the least best classes behind Precision Rifles actually
Interesting. I feel that the SMGs feel the best overall, and I found assault rifles to be underwhelming
@@TytheGuy6867They're a lot less so on hard and very hard, the latter in particular. SMGs suffer from the same.
Agreed. The only place I felt really weak was the Smasher fight but then I found out you could do sneak takedowns so investing in cool is till worth it.

try a sandevistan or even chrome compressor build. it completely changes the dynamic of how you approach combat situations when you don't have quickhacks to fall back on. I liked being a magic hacker wizard too but goddamn there is just something uniquely fun and special about a sandevistan blade build. a berserk OS is super fun too with a shotty/lmg build, you feel like an absolute tank
Unironically one of the best sponsorships I’ve seen on UA-cam. Super nicely implemented into the video 😎
Just binge watched about 7hours of videos of yours, thank you so much for your content 🙏🏻
The blunt weapons don't have enough cool factor and they're super slow a lot, I want to feel fast. But in a "Get Physical" build, that shit DOES feel good.
That "bonk" on a gonk sound effect of baseball bats is addictive for a bit though 😁
OPNESS
This NEVER gets old.
Thanks for being generally awesome dude. BTW at first glance your sponsor makes some really cool stuff!
I play on ps4 too, I wasn't informed about the thing that ps4 doesn't have 2.0, but it is still fun
Just started a new playthrough a few days ago, already 20hrs in! Love this so much. It's my 4th full playthrough
what a dope sponsor. love your channel cant wait till a few years where were all watching vids on Orion lore.
Broo I can never not have Cyberpunk downloaded, every time homie drops a video if I don’t have it downloaded it will be by the end of the video lmaoo
Love your content! Can I request you do an underwater secrets video? It seems like there should be a lot down there but I trust you be able to list it all in a cohesive way that we would all benefit from.
That OP-ness pun was terrific 😂Well played, good Sir, well played indeed.
Nah them cyberpunk replicas are awesome I'ma have to order some asap‼️‼️
Best weapons are your fists, clearly.
Jokes aside, I wish semi auto weren't fire rate capped, if my finger is faster on the trigger it should reward me accordingly
i remember thinking at the start of 2.0 that SMGs suck now because they felt really weak at first glance while consuming lots of ammo, "why would i shoot a enemy 10 times with this gun if i could shoot them once with another gun?"
but after discovering how immense the buffs from the reflex perk tree are they have honestly become my favorite weapon type in the whole game. I still love the other weapons and some like shotguns or snipers dont even need their perks to be good so usually smg's are the ones i invest my points in (which also pairs nicely because i could never run with anything less than 15 reflex for the air dash)
Honestly the best combo for me is katana, throwing knives, a good pistol and gorilla arms. My old Nomad build was unstoppable.
I ran w/ the same, but swapped the gorilla arms for mantis blades. Less helpful statistically, sure, but it's more thematically appropriate.
Love the Cyberpunk Vids Thank U!
Thanks a lot, that helps make our decisions a lot easier. All those videos required crazy amount of research.
My current loadout usually includes 1 regular pistol and then 1 pistol with muzzle for stealth but am not specing much in COOL so my weapons and perk points don't match for my weapons :(
I do enjoy throwing knives, katana, shotguns sometimes and alternate between each other.
I award you the title of "Best youtuber to watch while eating"
A lot of people say this. I'm happy with that title 😂
I have played a LMG/ Shotgun and netrunner build all thruout 2.0 onwards and it has been amazing.
Same here. The combination of brain and brawn is so satisfying
Seriously dude, your amazing 👍👍👍
the hands cyberware that creates electrical pulse after reload + firestarter and instakill mod on single shot dubble barrel shotgun is basicly the old comrade hammer but with more explosions and sparks and faster reload
My choom Sam Bram! Great video as usual buddy!
Her Majesty is my favorite pistol!
@Cryomantik Fenrir is so underrated
Man I love cyberpunk so much. I never followed the genre before release so i don't know there's so much hype behind it. I just bought it because it looks cool.
And I actually looking forward to the bugs during patch 1.06 funny enough the only bug i get is people start T posing and V suddenly naked. I don't even make any build for my first run just pick a gun and blasting no perk added
Now I try many build, follow the lore and many other.
@TheRadiantKnight_ Pistols don't require cool down
@@maskedman5657 there is a perk that makes knives return instantly on a kill or a critical hit. Considering that in stealth you one tap enemies that shouldn't be a problem. Also knives easily oneshot enemies even without stealth, but later in the game.
@@TheRadiantKnight_ Well doesn't the fact that pistols usually have more ammo and can use scopes make it better to line up headshots?
@@maskedman5657hell naw. I use swords, knives and pistols and when it's time to shoot a sniper from a long distance I always go to my Punknife wit 2 ZeroG mods on it. I got clips of it.
@@maskedman5657 well for me scopes only make it worse. Anyway when you are in stealth enemies are barely moving so hitting them is easy regardless of your weapon.
Thank you so much your videos have been invaluable to my second play through it has made the game so much fun😊😊😊
Thanks for another great video.
I guess it's time for another playthrough and maybe I'll actually spec out a proper build this time
The problem with bullet sponge games like CP 2077 is regular weapons like Assault rifles and precision rifles won't work. i know the game is a futuristic fantasy almost-arcade game, but standing 2 feet from an enemy and mag dumping is so patently ridiculous immersion breaking that stupid mechanics like "smart" weapons or ricocheting off the pavement seem necessary (at least as far as CDPR is concerned). I'll continue with AR's and precision rifles at normal difficulty. How many times do I have to headshot an enemy before they die? 5 times 10 times? Being ridiculously overpowered is BORING. Although i do love katanas!
Great Video as always. I really need to get my hands on this Katana asap 🤩
I kinda wish revolvers falls into reflex tree. Since you can't stealth with revolver anymore, the only option is gunz blazing. Really fit with SMGs & AR dashing around playstyle
That katana looks awesome maaan
I feel like i definitely dont need to run stealth on a normal difficulty playthrough, but something is just fun going through one shotting enemies silently. It's a little more engaging than just hacking the cameras and hacking everyone to death from a hiding spot.
I'm totally okay with an unsilenced revolver. 😁
@s3eriousbl9ck26 upload then
Prejudice is actually great, possibly the best stealth weapon in the game.
Love your videos choom, be nova if you made a Nightcity fixers ranked!
Think my favorite is going to go to the knives, most consistent in every aspect from stealth to open combat and just pure badassery. “Only thing you gotta know about knives puto… they’re easy to conceal….and they never run out of bullets”
Thanks a lot on finding a new way for me to go broke Sam!
In regards to blocking bullets, you can actually do so as much as you want provided you level up reflexes to 20. Once you do, you'll be able to unlock a perk that restores stamina every time you air dash and/or double jump. So you can block just as many bullets as you want so long as you time your double jump/air dash correctly (FYI you can also block bullets in the air, just keep holding down blcok), in fact anytime I notice my health is low and I'm out of healing items, I usually do this until my health goes back up... plus if you reflect the bullets back at whoever is shooting you, they'll eventually get low enough in health that you should be able to use a finisher on them which you can also use to restore health.
oh my god that Errata is so sick!
I started with a cool build, and I refuse to ever do anything else. Revolvers are just the most fun, everything else feels too easy now
one of my favorite runs i have ever done (out of like 6 billion runs) was a full on blunt melee + shotguns. i felt (and almost was) effectively immortal and with the right combo was two shotting max tac all day long. it was so much god damn fun.
Johnnys Malorian is for sure my favourite weapon
pistols are definetly the most versatile weapon class
Smgs
Bolt shotting with widowmaker is very good, clears out hordes in seconds.
I could tell you that playing the game on anything that isn't Very Hard is cheesing the game too LOL its just silly argument, we both paid for the game and its made for enjoyment at the end of the day
The highest crit modifer for any of the pistols in the game is 200%, the knives i currently use have 150% modifiers... simple math shows that you are lying lol its only 50% max increase and the dmg per shot is almost a hundred pts less dmg, only one pistol has 200% headshot multiplier too and it only has 20 shot clip. In total there are 6 pistols that have more HS than the best knives and they ALL do far less dmg per shot, have to reload, and need to further decrease dmg per shot by using a silencer to be effectively utilizing your out of combat dmg perks. the over DPS is just lower, unless you specfically play alex's gun, but you cant even get the gun until PL anyways so its not like you can utilize those perks, not to mention that the camo thing is just a worse version of style over substance anyways. it gives crit shots on headshots when in camo, but you get that without having to be in camo all the time using knives lol
there is also imo nothing comparable to the agau taking out an entire troop of like 9 or 10 robots with ONE HEADSHOT because of the electric exlplosion on crit that it gives you, I dont think there is a single pistol that will one shot an entire group of robots.
9:46 Goddamit Sam you almost made me choke there 🤣
Hypercritical has an additional niche use as hits with it will build up pyromania stacks for your grenades/handheld launcher
@Jereb343 wouldn't the Osprey be better?
@@maskedman5657Probably yes but hypercritical has better ammo economy

There's only 2 arm Cyberware that can become main weapons and only one is good without committing lots of perk points so how is arm Cyberware over any weapon? How is Quickhacks number one when it's locked behind 1 OS?

Idea for future video: ranking top 10 guns in each weapon class (power, smart, tech)
Dude I run a blunt weapons build and it’s the best performing build by far. You gain stamina, health, health regen, health item cooldown. What else is there to say? Blunt weapons are severely under rated.
At 9:40 -- "The best form of bludgeoning OP'ness" hahahaha...... I see what you did there.....
I'm sure everyone always caries a pistol on them
I feel like a smart revolver could have been the most badass weapons in the entire game. Great list as well :D
06:21 how you got this gun? and bro the shotgun from ebunik... it should have ranked highest imo
a nicely ranged and modded (and if preferred, silenced) assault rifle outweighs any precision rifle in my opinion (i usually go for an ajax, sometimes a kyubi). i usually combine that with a ranged and silenced high damage pistol (nue) and a smart weapon to clean up larger groups (i swing between a yukimura or a zhuo)
I tried and it just was too for me but I also like fast-paced, intense combat.
