If anybody is wondering why there are no revolvers on this list, I split them into a seperate video for time purposes. You can find that here: ua-cam.com/video/hQN0QCvM1pk/v-deo.html
almost comment where are the revolver haha
i was wondering where the Taigan was, i overuse it when it comes to pyromania stacks, idk if you can tell but i like pyromania stacks, with the projectile system launch.
I think the headshot swap feature on La Chingona is to encourage swapping between both Chingonas in combat rather than only using one, to imitate a double handguns style
I think you're correct.
they missed the chance of adding an Akimbo perk if u have both pistols equipped... sliding and dashing around NC while dual wielding jackito pistols would probably be *chef´s kiss*
Fingers crossed they somehow add an akimbo system in the very last patch. They said they were going to implement some gameplay features people have wanted for awhile. But I’ve got my money on cosmetic car and cyberware customization, if anything. Akimbo seems pretty crazy to add at this late date.
@@quantumphayer not a perk, they should have made Akimbo its unique modifier alongside with a smart weapon like aim mode where V follows enemy movement with the gun. now that would make them Iconic...
Yup, like the smg perk
Johnny's Malorian with a high cool build is an absolute monster , just feels so badass to one tap enemies with hip fire head shots
It’s my favorite weapon in fiction
I used it throughout my cool playthrough, and loved it, BUT it's extremely mediocre tbh. it's about on the same level as a normal revolver, but less damage and more boolets, and slower reload. It's omega shafted by the fact you can't put mods on uniques anymore. I'd love malorian with explosive chimera bullets
Yeh since it's lil buff from 2.0 to 2.02 it performs much better too
@@darkone9206 It still isn't good... it probably shouldn't even be in the top 10
@@thomgizziz i kind of agree. even maxed out at 5++ it was taking a whole mag to kill normal enemies. It's really depressingly weak.
Even though Malorian is not the best, but I still end up using it the most ‘cause it’s felt so good when reloading and the impact and sound is so damn satisfying!!
100% absolutely, after getting 90% of the iconic pistols, I tried them, and the used the Johnny Malorian
The Malorian is awesome but I really wish they added the lore that it actually has some of the real Johnny’s incredibly angry personality bouncing around it’s wiring, like in the ttrpg. I guess it’s because it was chipped to his cyber-arm for so long that while Johnny was having cyberpsycho episodes his neural info would leak into it through the personal link.
It would be pretty cool if you got some ghostly, angry voice lines after like, getting a nice headshot or taking out a bunch of corpos in quick succession. Hit an Arasaka agent with the secondary fire? “Time to buuurn, Corporat.” That would be fun. I wonder if there’s enough Johnny voice lines in the game to do something like that with mods? Way beyond me anyway.
@spiraljumper74 or if they kept it in, have johnnys silver arm start to appear the more you keep it out/use it
Finally somebody that isnt delusional and doesn't think that because they like it or use it the most that it must be the best
@@spiraljumper74 You could just make AI do it...
I think not going with 20 cool is a major mistake, it *really* makes a lot of pistols crazy cause of 0 recoil, you can get a consistent full lexington mag into someone's head with it
I agree. I also love to use the Kenshin on Hip Fire and when extra AoE is needed, Bolt. It´s really powerful with the perks and beats the Omaha easily. A Barghest Lexington Full Auto is also a very nice thing to use...esspecially with the Iconic Power Weapon Mod.
20 cool gives you 0 recoil?
@@maskedman5657 Not directly, but Dead Eye make pisotl 0 spread and cyberware can take care of the recoil part easyily.
The malorian with sandevistan is just art, especially with a very high level one. You feel like quicksilver just casually strolling around combat putting in perfect headshots
you can do that with a bunch of guns...
@@thomgizzizwith sandy, any attack becomes great...
Use SKIPPY on stone cold killer always head shots -d
The Malorian still is great at head to head combat
Doing a Johnny "Kick the door down" build of exclusively using handguns and being as un-stealthy as possible, the Malorian is actually pretty good, especially when backup up by a revolver
The Malorian and Rosco are my go to pistol/revolvers for open combat
or replaced by a revolver or even better a shotgun...
@thomgizziz why not both pistol and shotgun? Lizzie is easily one of my favorites for guns that stay relevant through the whole game.
I use the memorial with byaku and a tanto. Just feel like a ripoff johnny silver hand samurai
Doing something similar right now but I made my nomad character like Arnold from T2, no need to stealth just big ass shotgun and lmg to obliterate everything
You can also get Genjiroh during the parade mission while traveling along the catwalks, taking out the snipers. It's in a supply room between the first and second sniper, just before you climb up a ladder and cross a skybridge.
???? Really?!
Yeah, I was about to say that
I was thinking the same thing
Yeah, tbh I'm surprised he missed that since it's more likely to find it there first
Only during this mission? I followed another guide that said it was supposed to be behind a gate in a small room with a doorcode that could be entered to open the gate. The gun was not there for me. I haven't started the mission so maybe that is required first?
YES you're doing my favourite type of weapon in cyberpunk 2077 and my main reason for liking the pistols is because of the unique designs on all of the guns. And Sam thank you for doing all for your cyberpunk content it's nice to know that there's someone out there that loves this game just as much as I do.❤
I think a large aspect you overlooked with Death & Taxes is the 2-round burst now. Due to the nature of bursts during Sandevistan, both rounds shoot out un-slowed while everything else is, practically guaranteeing two critical headshots with a single pull of the trigger. It's my go-to stealth pistol over Her Majesty.
Same it's definitely slept on. It's ridiculously good with the sandy, add a tier 5 suppressor for the guaranteed crits undetected and it's a beast. From my experience only pride has it beat in raw damage output.
If only the quest to get it during wasn't bugged as hell. I'm convinced I lost the chance because I can't start Ex Factor and Judy won't call.
The tiny pink pistol that is Lizzie, is cyberpunk 2077s answer to the cricket gun. Seemingly harmless, laughable even, but with nuclear level damage.
No, no it isn't. It looks like a handgun and just because it is purple doesn't mean it is a toy.
@@thomgizziz it's tiny and pink pistol lol. It's not a toy but neither is the cricket gun from mib.
Tamayura is so good for stealth builds; I found little reason to use Her Majesty when I got her because I already had a 4-slot T5 Tamayura that more reliably 1-tapped heads.
No, Her Majesty will just do more damage unless you have found some cool trick nobody else has.
@@thomgizziz Well the legendary silencer does guaranteed crit hits on stealth headshots, the tamayura has armor pen, its base damage is higher and it can fit a pox and equalizer. I'd say those are some pretty big benefits to give it a higher damage potential. Ofcourse this still loses to pride, but everything loses to pride in stealth while you can run a modded nue/tamayura much earlier.
To be fair, aside from the elite heavies and bosses, you pretty much can take one shot everyone with a maxed out silenced pistol.
I'm one or at worst two tapping everyone with seraph for the most part and I'm not even fully specced for pistols.
@@thomgizzizyou're wrong because mods exist for base weapons... also her majesty is more clunky to use, basically requiring that optical camo perk and for you to be crouch sprinting while shooting. the tamayura is more consistent and easier to land as long as you are patient with your shots
Plan B shoots ''just'' around 10K to 15K in a full play trough. Using Plan B does not ''burn your wallet'' since you can get that money fairly easy. In fact it gives you basically infinite ammo and bleeding changes. Plan B is below avarage I'd say. Should be ranked somewhere in low-middle (above Kongou).
Tamayura should be ranked higher, its the best non-iconic pistol for stealth builds with the highest base damage of all pistols and a higher headshot multiplier than the Nue. Should be around where the Chao is personally.
Yea right? Tamayura+Pax+Skull Dmg Mod+Silencer = Stealth god.
I can't find the Tamayura that much besides Arasaka tower
@@lexsteele2218the wepon vendor at the far side of Dogtown sells it. If not, rewind 24h and try again. Also airdrops in Dogtown. I've got a tier 5++ with 2 empty mods. Combined with two pax I get around 3-4K DMG per headshot on hardest, of course at stealth play. Of course cyberware and perks have to be at max too, but nothing gets close to tamayura!
I agree the kongou should be above the plan b. Mainly because of the, technically infinite ammo from the crafting. Which kind of negates the plan bs using a different ammo type.
Hard disagree. Tech weapons have a damage penalty when piercing cover. Power weapon ricochets do not. Kongou ricochets have a ridiculously generous auto-lock angle, and you can test it yourself. Almost 3-4 times as much as a regular power weapon. It is easily one of the best early game handguns in the game because of this. The bullets feel like they're literally bending around corners to auto-target enemies.
If you pick both Dorada guns and use them together they will reload each other after switching. So lets say you only equip the 2 Dorada's when one it empty you switch to the other and therefore you have endless ammo.
even with just one, all you have to do is holster and redraw it to reload (if you only landed headshots), not as good as using 2, but very close.
Thanks for always making such banger content Sam!
Ive been waiting for this lets go! This man has the best cyberpunk rankings that ive seen
Such a well put together video, gotta be your best one yet
Fun fact: the pistol Lucy uses in Edgerunners is also the Unity pistol, truly the pistol of all times.
Another great video! I used Plan B for a while as my Stealth-gun, owing to the 200% headshot multiplier.
Bro the work you put into these videos ! Really appreciate it, bringing more enjoyment to a great game for sure!
Took me a second to get what lord of the rings reference you talked about, I appreciate that you noticed and pointed it out, I would've never made the connection😂 I loved the Dogtown version of the movie's intro too! 😎👌Your videos are great
In Cyberpunk i am more of a shotgun person. It is so satisfieing being able to send enemies fly over the room a few meters and see their health just melt.
Looking forward to watch your top of the best shotguns.
I did start a new game now with the dlc instaled, but have not realy had time to experience the game that much.
I have 170 hours into the game, mostly with update 1.6 and just a few hours with update 2.0.
Prety good i have to say.
Before 2.0 there used to be this quirk with the Kenshin Takemura leaves with you after the two of you escape the Troy which allowed you to upgrade it to have insane DPS. Most often I would use it through almost the entire game. If that quirk still existed in 2.0 it would have easily put it on par with some if the best tech iconics since it'd be allowed to use mods. Wish they had maybe turned it into an Xmod model instead of just a regular Kenshin, honestly. One of the most deadly bodyguards on the entire planet would surely have some kind of unique iron.
@AnomalyArcadie you got footage?
Supernice video dude. Thanks for all the info!
The effort you put into making these videos is insane.
You’re not missing anything, Her Majesty is tough to use while in optical camo
For stealth now that they actually put a silencer on it in the last update, the Mancinella is BY FAR the best stealth weapon in the game. If you use a Sandevistan the stealth bonus stays active for the entirety of an engagement because of the gun's special perk and with the Axolotl recharging your Sandy you can kill an entire group of enemies in one go easily. I actually just got rid of all my stealth perks and put them into other stuff because of how good the Mancinella is with a Sandy.
@@YardoIt’s cool that they fixed the gun but I’ve just never like the look of the Nova, the lines are just weird. Personally, I’ve never found a better gun for stealth than a random legendary Nue with two mod slots. I’ll give the Mancinella another try though.
I think it’s great to use hip firing in optical camo, especially when you get all the pistol perks, till when hip firing is basically better than aiming if you land the shots well, honestly the ranking should change dramatically if you have both 20 Cool pistol perks.
If you have the final pistol perk, hip fired shots always do full damage, combine with with crouch sprinting optical camo and axolotl, maybe the level 60 headhunter perk, and you're a one man assassination squad
Thats what knife throwers have to put up with until the later cyberware. Its the same techniwue
For Her Majesty's Optical Camo buffs I think they want you to actively use the Optical Camo instead of just spamming Vanishing Act, so they want you to max out Headhunter to get that 15% Optical Camo recharge per kill during Focus or Deadeye, you can combine that with Axolotl for 25-26% Optical Camo charge per kill for essentially infinite invisibility.
Or you can add Kerinzikov and just slide and killed them in slo-mo
Thanks for this vid, yo. I Phantom Liberty'd post Starfield and was overwhelmed w options, unsure how to even parse so much amazing kit. Subbed!
Good job man! I love you ranking weapon video
Honestly I think Seraph is majorly underestimated. The fact you can equip it with a scope and silencer in addition to having explosive rounds that set some enemies on fire makes it my go to stealth weapon.
It’s a beast in stealth or loud and you can switch it at will
@@ericm3327 So where should it be on the list?
Seraph has been my go to for my PL run.
@@maskedman5657 I'd say up at the 6th slot where La Chingona Dorada is at
So you can use explosive rounds and silencer?
I imagine they let you pick up both La Chingona Doradas to basically have you cycle between the two, giving you infinite ammo indefinitely, provided that you're a good shot and can keep hitting those headshots.
Finally the video i was waiting for a long time.
Sam, firstly your videos are brilliantly informative. Best youtuber for this. Secondly, I still use Kongou as my silenced pistol because of its increased fire rate over the standard Liberty. This, for me (providing a double-tap opportunity), was why I didn't switch to Her Majesty when I got it.
Come up on a group of enemies, activate optical camo at the same time as a sandevistan, then use Her Majesty to wipe out the whole group before optical camo is up. Newton module + Apogee helps a lot too by making infinite sandy time.
I completely agree that Pride is #1. That gun is insane. I really like the Lizzie in 1.6 but I thought it was kind of crappy in 2.0 but I didn't use it much at all, so maybe I was too quick to judge it. Still, once I got the Pride, I didn't use anything else except for snipers at long distance or katanas for boss fights.
Lizzy is great at the time it becomes available, for any any type of built, but it's damage output falls off too much by the end game, and there are better options at that point, especially when doing a built designed around pistols.
It's insane to me that he ranked the Ambition and Pariah lower than the Lizzie.
Both have better range, the blind effect on the Ambition gives you great CC and the Pariah when fully charged deals 3 shot damage in basically one shot, with zero recoil and good range on it. On top of that it is silenced.
Oh Man, I love these videos. I was not aware that Pride is so good!
Your bikes list will have to be done again and who knows what else after 2.1 lol good vids man 😃👍
Seraph was my signature weapon in 1.6, back when ricochet was worth doing. Now, with no ricochet on it in 2.0+, while also not activating pyromania, it's a crying shame. However, using it as a silenced weapon is a fun time and still feels good, despite being sad about it.
Yeah, it's still a REALLY good pistol.
I surprised the Chaos is so high on this list. I guess im not a big fan of two short burst weapons. I much better preferred the Chaos before the update when it was 3 shot.
I agree, I got it on my new 2.0 playthrough, used it for one firefight, never used it again. Not because it was bad, but I already had weapons that were better, in part because I finished everything in Watson before doing that mission
I've never actually used the Chaos. I picked it up when I did that mission, and I stuck it in my armory almost immediately. The concept sounds interesting and i was even considering using yesterday when i saw it in my armory, but now hearing that it's been nerfed i don't think I will.
The clip you used for the Johnny's malorian, along with some comments here, make it look like the gun barely does any damage at all, which is wild because I pretty much used it the entire time I had it and it felt incredible. It always did a ton of damage, and, while I'm not sure what weapon handling does exactly, it just felt so easy to hit shots with that gun.
From what I could gather, I believe handling determines how much recoil the gun has, both horizontal and vertical.
Great content , ik it takes a lot of work to develop this video we appreciate it
Not maxing out Cool means you don't get the capstone skill for pistols though and it's a pretty defining skill. As long as you hipfire you can ignore stamina entirely, have perfect accurary, and bonus headshot damage. On top of that you get whatever else bonuses from other perks related to deadeye infinitely. This benefits some pistols more than others and anyone making a pistol build will take it into account.
Personally, I think the capstone perks should be switched between pistols and revolvers but that's neither here nor there.
I feel the capstone's should effect all weapons but if not they should have Johnny's malorian be the only pistol effected by both just to make it pretty darn go
For the purposes of this list does it really matter? Pistols only receive the hip fire and movement speed buffs, and personally i never hip fire, so I only benefit from the movement speed (which can be helpful in stealth when crouched, sure). Sometimes I don't even use that perk because it honestly isnt that great for a capstone. The revolver perk is insane though. But for the purpose of ranking pistols specifically, maxing out cool doesn't really make a difference.
@@mossicely in my experience it really does. High fire rate pistols like the Lexington really benefits from it a lot more than others. Infinite stamina, high fire rate, and perfect accuracy means you can be a lot more in your face and spam headshots instead of being stealthy. Obviously if you don't hip fire then it doesn't matter but the whole point IS to hipfire and get close.
@@abednegokurio9244One guy claimed the XMOD is one of the best in the game with Firecracker
I'm surprised the Death and Taxes is ranked this low. I think it's one of the best stealth pistols in the game once you get the your sandevistan and correctly perking the cool tree. It does double damage to the head because of the burst.
@@ryanshoults123Your question is very confusing
@@ryanshoults123 I should be saying this to you
@@ryanshoults123 What? Dude you need to learn how to write.
Death and Taxes is okay. It does hit twice but that doesn't mean that it doubles the damage of other guns... because it doesn't. A good stealth build will get you average hits of just over 2k with death and taxes where as better guns are in the 3-4k+ range. And that is the difference from one shotting dudes on very hard.
If you aren't playing very hard then I can see your argument and it makes sense but even on hard it starts to fall off.
@@thomgizziz No I always play on very hard and death and Taxes is probably one of my most reliable handguns for stealth kills. I'm saying it's basically double damage per burst not shot.
With the exception of Her Majesty, Pride or Pariah for stealthy shenanigans, my favourite for general use is the Kenshin family, especially Chaos - I'm quite fond of handguns in most shooters, and my favourite weapon type in Cyberpunk is Tech.
Also helps that it looks nice.
Nice touch on the video putting rogue's song while talking about her gun
Suppressed one shot Lexingtons are literally ASMR💞
I think you underrated Plan B, it has a higher than normal headshot multiplier at 200%, so it's been really good for my stealth build which also trivializes the cost per shot mechanic. Also you can get it right after the heist so if you need a decent pistol it's available pretty early on. I wouldn't want it in a stand-up fight but for popping heads it's seriously underrated.
He didn't. The base damage on plan B is not good, especially for a gun that is that slow.
it's honestly really disappointing that both early game Liberty iconics you get are so disappoining, both Kongou and Plan B have fantastic appearances, but neither of them really cut the mustard (you're seriously better off just using Nehan for stealth kills during the heist, or it and Satori or an AR if you're going out guns blazing, than Kongou). At least Seraph and Pride make up for it, mainly Pride.
@@thomgizziz
"for a gun that is that slow."
You keep saying this in multiple comments. Plan B has one of the fastest firing rates for a semi-auto handgun in the game. It's over twice that of a Nue/Tamayura. It's nearly twice that of the Unity/Liberty. How in the hell is that "slow"?
Great video! I do wish there was a clip of the 3d model of each pistol, but otherwise great job.
Hi Sam, I've had a good time combining Her Majesty, Camo, Sandevistan, and Axolotl. Tier 5 handyman to enable a better scope than default sights and bonus crit damage.
You get the crit bonuses from Camo, time to aim from Sandy (which I prefer to kerenzikov to allow Deadeye and Focus to trigger for more damage) and kills with Axolotl help speed up the recharge for both Sandy and Camo.
It's a bit specific, but makes it super punchy.
There is a reason to use both La Cingona Dorada. Each headshot reloads the La Cingona dorada. Both of the La Cingona Dorada. So you can fire the mag of one of them to low count swap to the other, fire the mag to low count, swap again - reloading the other gun and repeat. SO each one can reload the other provided you do not deplete the mag completely. I am not sure if the other bonuses stack but I see no reason why they would not.
On top I think in 2.0 you can still set up the attachments different, say one stealth, one not stealth etc
Ricochet is honestly really useful when you want to fire from cover. It shows where they are behind walls if you line up the ricochet correctly, and it’s a decent way to counter the annoying ass sandevistan having gangoons.
I like stealth and (ideally) one-shotting unaware enemies, but I absolutely fell in love with the Rook when I got it. Pairs super well with any time slowing effects (Kerenzikov is a no-brainer for this one), which helps control that recoil and ensuring constant crits.
I quite like the Apparition, since I've missed the Ambition, it has become one of my favorite handguns. Thanks for the reminder about Lizzie, I kinda forgot about it.
I found lexington x mod silenced with firecracker and 30% armor pen mod attached is the best stealth gameplay pistol. Even better than her majesty and rook. You can argue about Pride silenced is the best weapon but if you miss head shot the high fire rate makes up for the missed shot for lexington. But pride + headhunter knife is best weapon combo rotation amongst any weapon in the game no doubt.
How can it be stealth with firecracker
I tested the damage between the dying night and lexington xmod2 pretty thoroughly at some point in my playthrough and found that due to its shock damage, dying night almost always outperforms the xmod at close to medium distance, with the exception of hitting almost exclusively headshots, which is when xmod edges ahead. This changes when you put on the explosive rounds chimera mod and the fire mod, that's when the xmod basically wins flat out due to its higher range and nice DoT
Yeah I found that as well, which I think was kinda the point of all the xmod weapons, they're slightly better than standard, but then with mods installed, they're slightly better *depending on what mods you use*
Sorry, slightly better than some iconics based on what mods you use
@@GuerrillaWarloard You can make xmods lasers with Ready Steady and that Iconic Hand Chrome.
@@digivagrant yeah right, you get an xmod, with some specific perk build, and so long as you have mods built up, your guns are just better, bit don't look as nice
If you are using a sandevistan you should be hitting almost exclusively headshots... are you not?
I'm glad the Lizzie is still regarded this high on the list. So many buffs and nerfs with guns on all fields, I found that my play style didn't have to change much. Still rocked Guts, Lizzie, and occasionally the Defender LMG.
Omg i love you, thank ! ❤
Seraph was a monster beast in my experience. If we're talking pistols I want a nice all arounder but with some above average punch and seraph fits the bill! It's a good sidearm if you aren't specifically specced into pistols all the way.
I think it counts as firing explosive bullets too for the explosive damage percentage buffs you get on cyber but will have to double check that. Anyway it was doing hard work for me! Plus it's just a thing of beauty, let's be honest! Gotta admit the Valentinos have style!
I noticed that some guns benefit way more from the pistol perks and others that may not have as much potential can be better "out of the box" if you will. So if you arent specifically a pistolier having a nice all around handgun with good accuracy, range, and punch might be more useful to you than one that requires 15-20 in cool to be the "best".
yea honestly I cant find another gun that can be used as a stealth 1 shotter and can also blast through enemies easily once detected
It was my gun of choice until I got the Pride. I never felt like it wasn't worth the effort to get.
@@HarryBuddhaPalm What kind of double negative nightmare is this? You are saying "I felt like seraph was worth the effort to get"
@@thomgizziz "I'm ALWAYS never not nice!!" Sound familiar? ;P
@@thomgizziz I'm well aware of what I wrote.
La Chingona Dorada stacks with itself, so if you pop heads, switch to your other copy, pop some more heads and then swap back, you have 2 fully reloaded pistols.
That is a very good point tbf Choom!
Pariah is my absolute favourite. Speccing into the tech weapon tree and stealth makes it a monster, and the bonus charge and reload time on headshots make it devastatingly effective both at open combat and quick stealth chain kills
@federicobellavista634 got footage?
Head cannon goes is Vs primary weapons go. Unity -> Malorian revolver -> Malorian 3516 while keeping a unity as back up back holster pistol and thats why it shows up in cut scenes
You CAN actually buy the Tamayura from a vendor- He's in Dogtown- A weapon vendor just next to the "Moth" bar.
He sells ALOT of Arasaka weaponry, like the Nowaki for example
You can also find it on at least one of the Voodoo Boys in Pacifica.
@@tron9683 I just got a t5++ out of a drop crate.
I never use charged shots with Lizzie unless someone is bugged under the ground but the hipfire normal shots are just insane, I love this gun so much. One shots all non skull ennemies with headshots
So far I am using Tamayura all the time for stealth silenced shots. I tried several pistols and I was able to find Tier5++ and with 4 slots to use.
Attachments: Handyman & XC-10 Cetus (Both Tier5)
Mods: Swiss Cheese & Equalizer (Both Tier 5)
I feel like Godlike with this weapon.
Fun Fact: Silencer is the same size as then the pistol itself (longevity).
Lizzie with Chain Lighting (Tech Perk firing just before Max Charge for an EMP blast that shoots a series of huge damage blasts for up to 5 or 6 nearby targets) & Overdrive's Cyber-Psycho effects kicking in is unimaginable brilliance & chaotic fun 😀
Still my "Go To" Tech Pistol & main gun for my current Nomad playthrough. Fully upgraded to Teir 5++ it's absolutely brutal!
Patch 2.1 will introduce an option to enable a centered dot on the screen (helps with motionsickness). Solves all optical camo problems.
I usually use mods for this, CP2077s iron sights are all incredibly bad, I never use them.
It’s already an option on consoles
@@somethingsaucy1776It's already on PC as well
I will have to start a brand new walkthrough, since we're getting metro update. For Pistols Johnny's Malorian is the best one in my opinion.
I’m pretty sure I’ve used some version of the Unity on my current play through at basically every level. I like the look, I love the equip animation, and it’s just classic looking you know? Simple and clean. I have two on my max level character, one lethal specced for extra damage on heavies (40), one specced for maximum non-lethal stealth damage. With a silencer attached and that chunky barrel it kinda looks like the popular depiction of a USP .45 if you squint, with that blocky front. I’ve always really liked that silhouette.
Oh i have been waiting this video for a while! Currently running a cool/intellect stealth runner. And looking for cool pistols to use :)
Plan B is deff underrated. It’s 200% headshot multiplier is very powerful imo. My character is maxed out on pistols and Plan B absolutely demolishes enemies and it has 20 rounds.
Imma try it out again
Maxed out on pistol?
@@pervert_kun the perk tree in cool that has all the pistol multipliers is maxed out
No it isn't. An extra 50% headshot multiplier isn't coming close to offsetting a 53 damage slow gun. Pride has 101 base damage and a 420% head shot multiplier. The gun isn't that good. It is one of the first iconics you get in the game and it seems like a ton of people used it then thought it was good and just stuck with it and didn't really try anything else... IT ISN"T GOOD
@@kingcold5252 dont it isn't good...
I love the Kongou the most just because of its looks
Good, at least you aren't delusional like half the people here that think if they like something that makes it top tier.
@@thomgizzizwho hurt you little one 🙁
Hey the #36 Slot o Matic is extremely useful gun buy as many as you possibly can get once you leave your 1st appt, dont talk to jackie yet, do some police easy stuff side gigs, get some guns cash, buy all you can of slot o matics - disassemble them all, then quickly upgrade Dying Night you get for free from the gun shop outside your 1st appt, disassemble = upgrades early, full up all the slots you can before you start 1st mission after get to your 1st appt. doing this before start play thru on hardest difficulty makes it so super easy. use the rest to buy upgrade your early cyberware slots, then talk to jacking and begin playin -d worlds of difference on easy of play thru act 1 n 2.
I really think death and taxes is slept on after the patch. To get the most out of it use a sandy, the slow time effect basically makes both rounds hit in the same spot. It fires so fast with the sandy activated I thought it was only shooting one round at first.
La Chingona Dorada or Pride are FARR better stealth guns than her majesty, if you use t5 silencers. those silencers are quite rare but both are possible to acquire. for stealth head shots i managed to go up to 2.5k for La Chingona Dorada , and over 4.2k for Pride.
Very happy to see Chingona high up on the list. Even if you don't run two of them, getting more damage and burn chance per headshots is a nice effect, and as a Nue (way cooler of a platform than the unity) does way more single shot damage.
The problem is the headshot multiplier isn't good.
Hey Sam, great vid as per usual. However for the Scorch the math was a bit off: 3 x shots at 20% probablilty does not equal 60%, it actually equals a 48.8% chance
Would you do a video explaining each skill on the skill tree? Love the vids, ty.
Death and Taxes + Cocktail Stick + Neurotoxin Knife (in anodized pink obv) makes for a great girlbossing loadout (and is actually pretty fuckin good and really fun to play around for stealth)
Where did you find the pink neurotoxin knife?
Because you think a color is girlbossing??? SMH...
@@thomgizziz no bruh. It's girlbossing because Death and Taxes literally belongs to a woman in a power role, and Cocktail Stick belonged to one of the only people in Night City trying to take control of their own life back from their abusers. Lmao. The pink knife just fits better with the iconics than any other throwable option.
The Nue with the kutrub muzzle brake is the slickest looking gun in the game and I will never change my mind. Big pistol, big sound, big kick.
Is like a Deagle and a .45 Long-Slide had a baby.
BANG!!!
YUUSSS!!! Finally, all this coming right before Adam Smasher gets a Sandi in the new patch on 4 December.. Talk about perfect timing
The Reflexes skill tree should have a dual wield perk at level 20. Just have no zoom in because you fire the left gun with L2 and the right gun with R2 and no consumables, its just a higher dps tradeoff for no zoom or consumables while the skill is active
Yeah! Kinda like how dual wielding in Skyrim means no block: dual wielding in cyberpunk would mean all shots are hipfire shots, without any ads. It would work seamlessly, tbh, give how many hipfire perks there already are!
a dual wielding perk should be in cool not reflexes, since... you know, wielding two guns is all about being cool, plus, what weapons could benefit from dualwielding? not assault rifles or most smg's, and cool is the stat for handguns since 2.0, especially since each stat focus on specific weapons
body for heavy weapons like lmg's or shotguns or melee weapons
reflexes for smg's or assault rifles
technicall ability for tech and explosive guns as well ciberware
inteligence for smart guns and netrunning
and cool, the stat for handguns sniper/precission rifles, thrown knifes and stealth
Yeah not everybody uses a controller... how are you this trapped in your own bubble?
@@cronft What are you talking about Cool has been the main thing for almost every single handgun build since 1.0
“How are you trapped in your own little bubble” someone took it personally 😂😂 @@thomgizziz
Plan B has 200% headshot damage. Highest silenceable weapon.
Pride has 420% when you are at full health and you should be at full health almost 100% of the time and it has double the base damage... Base damage is a big deal if you are looking to do stealth pistol builds.
31:43 Genjiroh can also be acquired during 'Play it Safe'!
I love using malorian when guns blazing after i unlock run n gun perk. Because not consuming stamina when hip firing does help a lot to shot faster. And combining it with apogee sandevistan makes you a killing machine.
Her Majesty is broken with optical camo, a sandevistan and axolotl. Ya see, when you have optical camo active and get a kill while having axolotl equipped in decreases the CD, but if you're using it at the time of the kill it functionally extends it. Couple that mechanic with slowed time and I almost always can clear an army before becoming unstealthed. If you try this out and want to show it off, plz gimme a quick shout out, it's SUPER fun. Also to note, it's perfectly accurate while stealth so hitfire is more optimal, I'd love to send you a video showing it off
unity is more broken... you should try it
My favorite videos
44:22 All you gotta do is slap on Kerinzikov with the proper cyberwear to balance it out and you'll be able to use this while sliding or after a slide, jump, dash. Also, it takes a second for optical camo to go out after than move so youll be able to take advantage of the buff while standing or crouching for a short second.
This is a really well put together video and I thoroughly enjoyed watching the whole thing and listening to your opinions. Buuut… damn man, your aim could use some work, I know you’re running a tank build but PLEASE strafe left and right more, I promise it’ll help with your aim.
Ion know. The OGOU Chou variant felt very weak to me
You can use a sandevistan to make the optical camo last much longer so you don't have to use that awkward sneak sprinting method
Personally, I had used the Malorian for such a long time, but I stopped after 2.0 when they got rid of the elemental weapon mod that worked really well with it and the Yinglong. Nowadays, I like playing with the Apparition with my Corpo. I wish that the effect wasn’t tied so much to the critical health threshold, but I still find it a fun pistol to use.
If you are trying to use any of it's iconic abilities it just takes too much work. Go get pride or lizzy or something else because that just sounds like it would ruin the fun unless your idea of fun is playing with spreadsheets.
@thomgizziz No, I don’t use it for the iconic effects. I just found it to be nice looking weapon, though I didn’t know about the Ambition’s Lord of the Rings reference. Pride is just so late in game and I’ve never really liked the look of the Liberty pistols. Honestly, pistols are just for challenge when I’m getting tired of using my Errata.
@@Pathfinder-jk7gh OK. too many people are trying to pretend that if they like a gun that it is the best and it kinda sounded like you were going down that path.
Pariah with chain lightning and some cool perks combined with oracle or stalker Kiroshis will allow you to silently clear a whole room without ever entering it, that build is really fun!
@JengaXtreme Stalker Kiroshis?
If you ever get a legendary Tamayura - with right mods it's the best stealth pistol (hand canon even). With legendary supressor (the one with guaranteed crits) and Pax mod - it's a beast, absolutwly love this gun.
Using currently in my stealthy pistol playthrough the Lexington XMod2 (won thanks to Lizzie crazy fire rate lol), love it !
I love Role-playing with V's Unity reminds me of an old spy pistol.
Addicted to the Malorian such cool animations
Ticon is a criminally underrated weapon. The one accurate charged shot absolutely rips enemies with bolt. Combine that with the wallpuncher mod and every fight becomes a cakewalk even in harder difficulties when you can just delete enemies even from behind walls. Add in the chain lighting and everyone is dust.
Ambition is also really good vs. bosses and MaxTac. The quick charge time to release a bolt makes it very versatile and when it manages to upload the optic reboot to the enemy the bolt headshot do some serious damage even to MaxTac.
A correction is needed on the Tamayura: it wasn't just found in Arasaka districts, it could also be found on some of the Voodoo Boys in Pacifica (specifically, one of them on the roof near the chapel).
24:50 you also get the pariah if you give songbird over to reed then, when he leaves night city
Pariah is an amazing stealth weapon if you combine it with the tech weapon tree and the pistol tree, you can chain stealth headshot kills back to back and through cover/floor/walls and clear out an entire building in 20-30 seconds easily. Surprised it was middle of the pack for you.
Most underrated gun in the game. A lot of people seem to be bad at timing bolt shots
