700gms plain flour sieve, add 100 gms custard powder & mix. 500 gms soft butter , 100 icing sugar, 4 eggs, mix mixture medium speed.

الخليط الأول :
700 من جرام دقيق لجميع الأغراض
100 من جرام بودرة الكاسترد
نخلطهم جيداً
ينخل الخليط ويضع جانباً
الخليط الثاني :
500 من جرام زبدة طرية
100 من جرام مسحوق السكر
8 من جرام من الملح
صفار اربع بيضات
نخلطهم بسرعة متوسطة لدقيقتين
نضيف نصف الخليط الأول
نخلط بسرعة متوسطة لدقيقة او حتى تمتزج جيداً
نضيف الخليط المتبقي من الأول
نخلط لمدة دقيقة بسرعة متوسطة او حتى تمتزج جيداً
لاتنسى مسح باقي الخليط من على الوعاء
درجة حرارة الفرن 180c
لمدة 16 دقيقة

The dough looks quite soft. Is it suitable for open face tarts where a cookie cutter is used? Thank you.
Can you tell me , since the dough is quite soft , won’t the rounded tart spread when you bake them . How do you keep it stay rounded. I read somewhere that the tart should be place in the fridge for sometime before baking to avoid it spreading too much . Do you do that ?
Not sure what you meant. I think this video showed you enough the dough didn't spread (round shape or piped flower shapes). I did nothing to keep them stay rounded. If it needed to place in the fridge, I would have mentioned it in the video. Just make sure you work fast while making them round with your palms, because palms produce heat. If your dough is getting too soft because of the heat, just place them in the fridge before baking them.

In Indonesia we call it Nastar and Kue Semprit. They are Traditional cookies, traditional recipe. We make them special every Idul Fitri. You can find it every Idul Fitri. Nowadays we modify with many other jam, strawberry, etc and not only in Idul Fitri. We even hv healthy product using healthy inggredients for diabetes & else.
