    I just made this recipe. I only added extra butter. I used premium paste. I made Au natural follow her style. It was not sweet. It was more focus on tender buttery crumbly crust. I used premium Japan eggs and bourbon Madagascar vanilla. All these quality made a unique gentle taste. I haven’t taste anything like that. I wonder is it good or not. Maybe I am used to eating sweet stuff and other recipe. I made bola. It was hard to tell cook. Both same 15mins. One was crumbly more. If I must say. Get all things good. Then you can appreciate gentle taste. But it is another kind called not sweet pastry.

    This is a substandard recipe for pineapple tart!!!! I made it for CNY. Luckily I followed the recipe exactly and thus it was not a lot. On the same day, I used my regular recipe to make a bigger amount. Onn's recipe is a great disappointment and definitely doesn't live up to her reputation. Whoever thinks that hers is a good recipe, I suggest you try out more recipes.
