Awesome stuff you read for April.
Maul Rats sounds like lots of fun. I've heard great things about Dead Eleven. Great wrap-up!
Maul Rats was fun. I also have Tastes like candy from that author that I hope to read this summer
You had really cool and productive April. Awesome.
thanks! I was def. trying to cram in as much as I could last month
I loved Head Like a Hole, and The Princess Bride is such a great book and movie.
My favorite read in April was Bunny by Mona Awad.🐇
Bunny is one that I was unsure what I thought/felt about it afterwards. Glad you had a good time with it!
Ohh I want to read the Melonhead book haha sounds super fun!
It's a fun one! There is a third killer VHS book coming out in June as well! Having fun with this series
I wanted more melon heads too 😂 It would be a perfect movie to make in the 1980s haha. I love the VHS series! I can’t wait for the two releasing this year 👻
Good points about dead eleven and your confusion about how they connected the dots… loved the very last scene. So cinematic!
I’m loving the vhs series as well. They are great popcorn reads!
You had an awesome reading month!!
Head like a hole was a crazy book!! 🐙
So sad OSA is over 💜🦜💜🦜💜 😭
I know, it went by too fast! Sorry you had to work so much during it :(
Caw 💜🦜! So sad it’s over 🥺
I know!
Great wrap up! I agree, I was annoyed by the characters in Jurassic Park on reread. I was pretty bummed! LOL
oh no! Had it been a long time since you read it? I'm def. more of a character-driven reader, so if it had just a bit more there, It would have been a great read!
Yayyy... I'm glad you liked Head Like A Hole because I'm currently reading it, lol. I'm only about 20% into it but liking it so far. I decided to go into it completely blind, so I have absolutely no idea where it's going, but I'm intrigued.
I went in blind, and had a fun time. I hope you enjoy it as well!
You’re still reading what you own, so I consider that a great success. I never got in to Buffy when I was younger, so I have no nostalgic pull towards it 😬 The age of the kids were swapped in the Jurassic Park movie. The little girl was definitely more annoying in the book. My favorite will always be Grant and I could only picture Sam Neill while reading it. I think my favorite nostalgic read was The Last Unicorn. It really brought me back.
Yes! I consider it a success too. I kept thinking while listening to Jurassic Park "was the girl that annoying and I just didn't realize it because I was a kid too?" I ran out of time and didn't get to the Last Unicorn book, but I did rewatch it. Boob tree!
@@Kritz_Reads Boob Tree! I don’t recall the tree’s boobs being mentioned specifically in the book, but the tree does fall in love with him and the boobs are implied.
Caw Caw 💜🦜!
I read 15 books in April as well.
8 were OG Goosebumps Books
And I finally read American Psycho. It was a very dense read and full of Patrick’s thoughts. Very stream of consciousness. Gave it a 3.5. Need to re read it maybe next year. I’m sure there is a deeper meaning to the book but I did not pick up on it the first time through.
I've not read American Psycho, but I've had people tell me it is boring. I personally didn't like the movie, so I probably won't read it. Have you read Maeve fly? I liked that one, and people call it a female version of american psycho. Great job with all the reading! We may not have won, but we still had the best team! CAW!!!!
@@Kritz_Reads Maeve Fly is on my TBR. I have heard great things about it.
Me watching not knowing anything about princess bride 🫣😂😂
I've debated on reading jurassic Park. I would actually love to get more of the details of the ecosystems, etc.
My favorite read for April was Tear by Erica McKeen 🤩
hahaa, sorry! I forget not everyone is as old as I am and have seen Princess bride!
You totally made me buy Tear
