    A bro love the videos I have everything you have the double chain and HV melling pump and ATI but I ordered the drop in pistons and rods I just shaved timing cover now I'm trying to figure out the pump I read that how ever thick the spacers is you can shaved that much off the back of the oil pump that the spacers lay against I'm thinking about trying that out might want to try that out they say SLP has a pump that's made to slide right on the double chain but I already have this pump so I'm going to give it a go just something you might want to look in to good job on the videos bro

    Would you happen to know the part # for the single 6.1 timing chain? The 6.1 has 4 tensioners as opposed to the 5.7’s 2 tensioners spring. Mopar can also mix and match both. I don’t want to run risk of getting the 5.7 version. A lot of online shops say fits 5.7 and 6.1. But give no info if it’s a true 6.1 timing unit or the 5.7

    Do you have any sensors besides the knock sensor that go on the driver side of the block towards the back part under number 7 piston area ?

      @themojogt  Рік тому +1

      Nope. The hole that’s back there is for a block heater. Which I don’t have

      King Jon like he said I used 0w-40 cause that's what my engine calls for so use what your engine calls for but look up this break in engine oil brand it's called Driven break in oil and use what oil your engine calls for

    If you were an engine builder instead of a wanna be you'd understand that theres more to building an engine than throwin parts together. First, that junk stock chain and gear isnt adjustable. Second, if you wanna run stock and risk breaking a chain and trashing it all, go ahead. Third, when you're building an engine and using aftermarket parts, you ALWAYS check the clearance of all parts before just throwing it together. So if you had checked before you got all giddy and started cranking shit down, your oil pump wouldnt be broken. Don't be blamin the parts manufacturer for your ignorance

      Hey, Larry. Sorry if you’re having a bad day. I didn’t mean to make you so upset by my video and content. But since you want to come in guns blazing, I’d like to inform you that MMX runs oem 6.1 timing sets on 1000+ hp builds. Meaning they aren’t junk.
      Feel free to watch the video I uploaded about the inconsistencies of the melling HV oil pump which actually played a part in this damage beings caused….
      And to the wanna be claim…. Yeah, I’m learning. I’ve never claimed to be an engine builder or machinist. I haven’t been just throwing parts together, either. I’ve been very selective and meticulous about what parts I put on this. Being very considerate of how the whole is equal to the sum of its parts.
      Have a great day, Larry. I hope you think back to when you were building your first high horse motor and about how it didn’t go exactly as planned.

      @@themojogt dont care about your other videos giving your opinion of other parts, especially ones that are built by one of the oldest and most reliable manufacturers in this country. Also, all the way back in the dark ages (30+ years ago) when i built my first performance engine, I didnt make mistakes. If I had I would have admitted that I screwed up, not threw blame around the room to see where it might get some followers and subscribers attention. Have a good day and better luck next time. Oh, as for MMX, they cam run factory junk if they want to. Theres a recall on factory chains for a reason

      The recall on hemi oem timing chains is everything but the Srt8 6.1l. Yes they have been pushedto 1000hp. And he is right on about the double roll timing chains. By the time you really need them for plus horsepower motors, you have to modify. Lame on the manufacturer’s.Don’t know what’s wrong with this guys attitude but I wouldn’t want to know him
