@@BIGGIEBAG-XL I bought one back at the end of April. Love it. Road tripped it multiple times, it rides fine for an HD truck. Shocker, it's not a crossover or a 1/2 ton. But its really not bad at all, especially for what you can do with it. It is not a small rig though, suburban chores are definitely a bit cumbersome with it, but that was also expected. It hauls my 14k dump trailer like a boss though and looks fantastic, the seats are super comfortable, and I love the diesel purr! Not looking forward to the emissions headaches, but that's also a part of modern day diesel life. The financially smart purchase for me would have been a gasser 3500, but that's no fun.
@@brianklump Good for you bro, congrats! Dont worry about the DEF shit, thats what warranties are for. Im sure if you work it and drive longer drives, you wont have many issues with it. I had a 2020 Denali 2500 Duramax and had zero issues other than the shitty hard seats. Im hoping these ones are alot better.
The leaf springs on the ZR2 is the reason the truck has a higher payload capacity. The rear suspension in the Ram seems better until you’re towing near max rating.
Cool trucks, I’d go with the ZR2. Crazy how large and how much of an overkill these rigs have gotten, especially if you’re not towing or hauling equipment, tools, or materials on a regular basis. Nice comparison.
I have owned both 22 Ram Cummins and 24 Chevy Duramax. My friend has the ZR2 and I own the ZR1. While Ram Cummins is a good truck. The Chevy duramax is just a better truck. I was disappointed in my 22 Ram Cummins because of all the recalls and problems that Ram and Cummins is having. It’s all very easy to find on HD Ram website. Just do your research
I’ve owned a 2015 ram 2500 Cummings and I hated it. It would squat under a 12,000lb load, it was rough riding, and it lacked power. In 2017 I bought a 2500 duramax and it has way more power, a smoother ride, and I’ve towed 23,000 lbs with it. I bought the 2024 ZR2 last week and I would sacrifice the ride for better towing. I don’t want to squat when I tow. My other truck is a 6 speed and the new 10 speed is light years better. It rides better as well. Maybe because it recommends 50 psi vs my 17 at 75 psi. I like the 35s and the ride height as I haul trailers in hills and swamps. I am very happy with my Chevy so far. I use my truck, only time will tell!
Both are great trucks but that ZR2 would be my choice.
I just bought the 2500 ZR2 Friday! Love it
How does it ride? Been eyeballing one

His pants explain so much of this review😂😂😂
“The ride is HORRIBLE!” Explains it all. I’ve got the HD ZR2 and really enjoy driving it daily.

ZR2. Both are nice.
I wish a Truck guy would review TRUCKS for Car Guru's....He might do well for a Prius but nothing more
Chevy all day it’s a real American truck

On my 24’ gmc 2500 duramax when driving on highway I got up to 27mpg
you should mention that the Ram is assembled in Mexico for $2.00 an hour and they charge you80 grand

The RAM looks like Jake the dog when he morphs into a truck.
I’m a Chevy dude as I have zr2 Silverado but add the tremor
If that happened the Rebel might get no points at all 🤣
MachAllah,Excellent episode with excellent performance. 🇩🇿
Excelente video de Ambas Camionetas
When it comes to an ultimate off-road vehicle, diesel trucks are on the sidelines. The engines are too heavy compared to a gas engine.
I've never seen a more clueless review.
Where is Matt Smith?
Chevy all day, the rams are just not reliable.
El poder américano haciendo historia
Not doing it. I want a single cab 8 foot box solid axle 4x4....not spending 70,000 dollars for a sissified kind of a truck
2500 rebel is not, simply false. Powerwagon is.
Both low quality junk with major service issues. 🤮 👎🏼
Ram all day everyday
How? Dated, no payload and tows less.... plus no ground clearance ... How does it win?
@@atg1338don’t forget 100 less HP 6speed versus 10 speed and significantly shorter bed.
