So I’ve been listening to these cats 4 35+ yrs & I just caught the:”darling,darling,darling” which is a Southern US thing and a lot of their music is based on the Blues…see? That’s what’s great about music…no matter your age or background you can always get something new and awesome from it! Cheers brahs!

Another great song from Led Zeppelin, I really enjoyed it, I love the way it starts off with the acoustic guitar, it's just a beautiful song. I would love you to react to 'Boogie with Stu', (1975) such a fun song and great boogie piano. Another song I really love is 'In the Evening', (1979), superb riff and just a fab LZ song. Great reaction, guys, always enjoy them. One of the funniest things I heard was in 2012 when David Letterman had JPJ, Page, and Plant on his Late Night show. He said someone once explained Led Zepplin songs are about Vikings, Hobbits and Vikings having sex with Hobbits. The audience and band members laughed out loud. So did I! 🤣

Hi Elizabethe, I didn't know about the bad weather in their area, so had a look on Google, flippin' heck it was a hurricane, a really bad storm! I do hope the guys and their family and friends are okay. And I know there's been some pretty dreadful weather in the US too, tornados etc, horrendous for these poor people, I do hope that you're okay where you are. I knew that Patrick had a birthday towards the end of March but I didn't know exactly when, some birthday present! Well, a happy birthday to him anyway! I've sent them a message on Patreon and I hope they see it. Take care now. 😊
@Anne Maclean HI Anne. From what I've seen on the news reels, there was one fatality when a tree was blown down onto a vehicle with someone in it. Prayers for them and their loved ones. While I'm glad there were no more fatalities, reparing property damage presents a whole other set of challenges, so hopefully everyone in the effected coastal areas can resolve repairs soon.
While technically I live along the Pacific Rim, and have a lovely view of a currently dormant and not so distant volcano, Mt. Spokane, from my windows, as well as a wending section of the same named river just below, I'd be far more likely to perish from a winter ice storm or from summer heat exhaustion. We do have bad forest fire seasons lately, where air quality is horrendous, a minor earthquake now and again, and mini-twisters that can pull off a roof tile or two, but weather-wise, the "Upper Left" of the USA is reasonably safe.
I hope the same can be said, Anne, for your neck of the woods there across the pond. 💝
@@KandKs_GG Hi Elizabethe, yes, we don't get extremes of weather normally, the last really bad storm we had here on the eastern side of Scotland was in November 2021. Resulted in us losing power for five days which wasn't fun as you can imagine. The number of trees that came down was just unreal, luckily not much damage here apart from fences being blown down but it was pretty bad in other parts. Glad to hear that in your part of the US, you're fine, as I said, I hope the guys and their family and friends are okay and they didn't suffer any damage. 😊

Aw, cool, you're in Houses of the Holy territory. Robert Plant's yodely, noodly earworm vocals are set to lure you into "The Ocean," "The Song Remains The Same," and "D'yer Mak'er" now, too.
This band doesn't have a bad track, so it's all good...still, though, moving out of Zep's numbered LPs into HOTH and Physical Graffiti is like hitting a diamond patch in a gold mine.

I just searched y'all, didn't see "Bron-yr-aur," a two-minute acoustic trance I think you would admire (They have quite a few songs that start, or are all, acoustic!) Here are 4 "The's": For a groovy rock cruncher, try "The Rover." "The Ocean" is great. "The Wanton Song" is maybe even better. And "The Rain Song" (Live MSG)

Sloppy? Zeppelin often improved on the studio versions. They add more. Take it further. Push the boundaries.
If you want a studio version facsimile just listen to the studio version.
Zeppelin never played it live the same way twice, so we can have different versions of the same song. The live '73 version of Over The Hills And Far Away at Madison Square Garden is very different to the' 72 version in Los Angeles.
We are lucky to be able to listen to different versions of the same song instead of just facsimilies of the studio recording.
They had to go studio or they wouldn’t have liked this if it was live they & they weren’t the only goat , deep purple , sabbath , BEATLES etc .. I liked them but ther was others
