@FenrirBoom I pressure cook a big bone with marrow with just water. The broth in the store has a lot of things added. You can boil on the stove, but it takes a long time.
Thanks for clarifying the need: (1) to balance the branch chain amino acids in meat (leucine, isoleucine, and valine) with the amino acids in collagen (glycine, proline, and hydroxyproline); (2) to get enough carbohydrates (150 grams per day) from raw milk , fruit juice, and fruit; and (3) to eat organs to balance out the micronutrients in meat. Great advice!!
Background: I’ve been in above average physical condition for most of my life. Starting with amateur boxing from ages 9 through 17, a lifestyle of consistent exercise has remained a constant. At age 57 1/2 I started a strict carnivore diet. The initial adjustment was felt. I was running/rucking 20-30 miles weekly, as well as doing very high rep body weight and kettlebell workouts. A little over a year into the diet and my body composition has improved significantly. At 5’11” and 200 lbs, I have noticeable abs when relaxed and my endurance is good. However, I started having issues with my heart going into tachycardia and had to take medication to prevent that from happening. I have never been on prescription medication, except for antibiotics a few times in my life, therefore I wondered if there was a correlation between my heart issue and my diet. After 6 weeks of adding carbs back into my diet, mostly in the form of local honey, berries, dairy, and an occasional slice of sourdough bread, my heart issue disappeared. Perhaps this is merely coincidental, time will tell. In the meantime I’ll continue eating a primarily animal based diet.
Paul, I actually started taking hair, skin & nails, along with grass-fed bone broth protein with plenty of glycine and my sleep and recovery has DRASTICALLY improved. My rock-climbing wounds heal so much faster and I sleep so much better. It's truly important to eat nose to tail and that includes plenty of bone marrow and collagen. I was wondering for the longest time what I was doing wrong and I really appreciate you for speaking about this.

Make sure everything is 0 carbs and does not have artificial sweeteners that cause an insulin response (erythritol and sucralose are kinda okay, but all the others are bad for diabetics, especially maltodextrin that has almost twice the insulin response of sugar). Supplement with a B complex, potassium, magnesium glycine (taken before bed) and salt your foods moderately. Coffee, tea, club soda, water. You'll feel full fast and then stop eating. fasting and low carb high protein and fat diet did give me heart palpitations, and totally messed up my thyroid. Adding in some healthy carbs made me feel so much better!!! Yes and the sleep!
I have read many books, I listened to many UA-cam videos by many of the world's leading gurus and health experts but nothing came close to the hidden herbs by anette ray. I recommend everyone giving it a read.
Im leaning strongly towards a fruit-heavy diet with meat as needed. Since reintroducing fruit back into my diet my health and happiness has skyrocketed!
Genesis 1:29 - And God said, Behold, I have given you every herb bearing seed, which is upon the face of all the earth, and every tree, in the which is the fruit of a tree yielding seed; to you it shall be for meat. Genesis 9:3 - Every moving thing that liveth shall be meat for you; even as the green herb have I given you all things.
Hey Paul just bought your cook book today on Amazon. Been trying the animal based diet for a month or so now and I’m loving all these amazing ghost poops I’ve been having
I totally agree with needing carbs. Every time I stay low/no carb for extended periods of time I get really bad heart palpitations. I think the problem is heavily processed carbohydrates eaten in excess that are hurting people. God bless!
An important thing to remember is that Paul is very active every single day, if you're a mostly sedentary person I would take it very easy on the fruit and honey. Just my opinion.
Yes, also genetics here at play. Sugar does a lot of damage to the body in the form of glycation, oxidation and harming the mitochondria. There's much smarter people than him with proper qualifications not a degree in psychiatry.
I like seeing your content because you have the studies to back up what you advise us to eat. I need to have someone hold my hand through this crazy land of what is the best diet for humans.
@@rcristy He's right. So is he still trolling? We can only know the truth about what to eat on how it affects our individual bodies. Look at the people living in their nineties. Did they worry about carbs, sugars, oils? What to eat, when, how often? I doubt it. I'm just trying to stay away from proccesed foods, oils and things that negatively affect me personally.
Hi Paul. Just found you recently when you sat down with Thomas, whom I have been following for a couple of years. I am paying attention and subscribed. I had been on Keto and it was very succesful but I plateued and really never could quit my desire for fruit. Funny eh ? My body demanded it ! I had enjoyed all kinds of fruit my whole life. Thanks to others like you, I'm already sourcing grass fed beef and organs, making bone broth, even eating chicken feet! (our of the pressre cooker ! ) I have jars of beef tallow frozen for cooking . I ate beef liver a few days ago (cooked ! ) and today I had chicken broth to start the day and am eating 1/2 pound of chicken liver this aft. I might just try a bite raw. I am so happy to hear about honey, I know lots about it's history of use by Egyptians as an antiseptic and health food and I didn't belive the people who said it was not safe to eat. A teaspoon or 2 is healthy for anyone, IMO. Love you man!
When I added fruit on the carnivore diet, I started craving sugar. It does spike blood sugar along with too much protein. Balancing electrolytes and adding in a cup of asparagus a day for the microbiome is what worked for me.
Everyone’s tolerance levels and responses are different. Go with whatever works for you, because that’s your answer, mine might be different. Enjoy whatever you’re eating, never feel guilty, you can always learn something from the experience.
Short answer is: no. Ketosis relies on the same stress pathways as starvation: when the body is deprived of his preferred fuel (carbs), it has to rely on the less optimal fatty acid oxydation (Randle cycle) and gluconeogenesis, both implying chronically elevated state of stress hormones. Actually it makes a lot of sense. That's why keto people do not really have resting sleep, and that's why Inuits/eskimos have a special genetic mutation so they can avoid being in ketosis (if ketosis was physiologically preferable we wouldn't see this mutation).
@@hyperTorlessSo you are telling me that ketosis is bad? I have heard carnivore people's stress go to zero and be in good shape. And the keto dit people who also consume veggies have lost a lot of weight. Please educate me
@@Boselaphus Yes it's a stressing state for the organism, because its favorite fuel is glucose. I say "favorite" because it's more optimized physiologically: it needs less "energy" to make ATP from glucose, and it brings about less desirable byproduct like CO2 (basically). If you want to lose weight, that's a separate topic. But I'd be look towards a low-BCAA, no vegetable oil/linoleic acid of any kind, and not more than 15% fat (mostly SFA or MUFA).
One of the things I do is make bone broth. That isn't enough because I often don't eat it. I cook with it when braising but don't have the habit of eating it. My dog loves it though:) One thing I have done on the carnivore diet was to buy a big tub of grass fed gelatin. I make gelatin once a week and eat it every day in my decaf coffee with cream and butter. I find that a whole lot easier to get my collagen that way than from than eating bone broth daily.
He does look older since he introduced fruits and honey though...and normal people don't surf 2 to 3 hours per day, some don't even need 150g of carbs...

Hi please can you tell me how it's going ? Like what's happening with your problem now After 5 months ? No Total healing? Please 🙏 tell me more .. Thank you
@elisirmelody4697 i have been carnivore (95%) for 16 months. Much has healed, my cancer is still here but has not grown much. My cancer marker has risen but a current scan shows I am at a even point. With cancer that is a win
I’ve been eating this way for a few months now. No weight lost. So frustrating. But I keep eating this way despite that because it feels right and I feel healthier. --Yes please keep on dialing in on personal improvement with the ABD PSMD! I have been and I will continue to follow.
Congrats for sticking to it! After ditching *all traces* of linoleic acid in your diet (no vegetable oil, except coconut oil and quality olive oil), you should try dialing down the proteins: it is believed that certain types of amino acids exacerbate metabolic dysfunction in unhealthy people. See ExFatLoss article "Show me the (BCAA) studies" for details.
If you aren’t as active as Paul, I would not recommend eating those carb numbers. Paul also doesn’t talk enough how extremely healthy fasting and intermittent fasting are. I would suggest removing carbs and start intermittently fasting (AT LEAST 12 hours from dinner to break-fast the next morning)
@@BloodnightStudios I would definitely advise to NOT fast (as it makes your body relies on various stress hormones as an emergency measure when it's deprived of food) and keep doing what makes you feel great, in this case eating carbs lol.
@@hyperTorless I’d say you’re very mistaken. Fasting allows your body to heal and replace bad mitochondria so it protects your cells from cancer. Hi paul, valuable info as always! How do you think people living in the northern latitudes should eat especially in the winter months when fruits really don’t grow and perhaps only some root vegetables would be available locally? Would you still recommend eating fruits despite being imported, not matching your light environment, and despite not having enough sunlight (like you in CR) to deplete DEUTERIUM from the fruits consumed? Eating fruits as the less toxic carbs makes a lot of sense but how about seasonal local eating? Wouldn’t it be more ancestrally appropriate to eat what grows in your area and matches your circadian rhythms/light even though what grows is not fruit but other plants? So curious to hear your opinion!
In my region people make a lot of fermented foods for winter. Some sorts of apples can be saved fresh till January. Some berries can be saved for winter by putting them in ice cold water. That what my grandparents did.
Even after just one day on a high quality animal based diet, my energy tripled. My son's cough was cured immediately when I started giving him raw milk. Thank you, Dr, your advice is the only diet advice that ever made sense!!!
Mis-steak is to leave out collagen! 😅 When you regularly pull your head and neck down to your drink/mobile/food, no matter how much exercise, your body will end up shrunk and muscle-bound. Have a go at using Alexander Technique for length
I found that when I did pure carnivore I rarely had sugar cravings and it was easier to fight off. Now that I’m trying animal based, I feel a bit more cravings for sugar. I could eat an entire pound of blueberries and still want more.
What are you talking about? No one is addicted to pure sugar. They are addicted to junk foods which contain fats and carbs combined. There's a huge difference. You can run on pure sugar all day long and not have any problems in your diet
@@Studiovette 100%. Most don't though. But part of the reason is the chronic inflammation all over their body as a consquence of bad diet. Gives them pain when they move. Fix the diet, fix the body and movement shall follow.
I’ve noticed for myself and from the comments of others in the CIRS community that most of us seem to need a little carbohydrates. Apparently with CIRS bio toxin illness our body’s struggle to convert fat to energy. I was straight carnivore for almost three months, I felt awful, never became fat adapted, and gained 25 Lbs Adding a little bit of carb helped me feel less awful. I’m finally out of the toxic environment that I was living in and able to take the binders to get the bio toxins out of my system. Felt normal for four days in A row and that hasn’t happened in over twenty years! There is hope after all
thank you paul! i love learning about the human body and what a proper diet looks like. i personally do very well with vegetables, however, i have started to ferment veggies on my own to maximize their nutrition and reduce antinutrients. ive also transitioned towards making tons of my own food and almost not relying at all on prepackaged foods. i make my own bone broth, lamb tallow, cultured dairy, bread, vegetable ferments and ive also eliminated my consumption of seed oils to zero. thanks so much! youre doing gods work!
Glad the content has been helpful! There is no particular need to remove vegetables if they aren't causing any problems for you. Personally, I feel better without them.
fermented food activates dehydrogenase enzymes in exactly the same way as alcohol consumption. Creating the very toxic substances that dehydrogenase activation results in, which happen to be more potent and toxic than what was consumed. Its the only mechanism the body has to remove these consumed toxins, good luck long term with that sort of consumption! its the same as drinking alcohol every day, your metabolic body treats it exactly the same way.
@@Paulsaladinomdexactly, I do feel better without vegetables. No more acid reflux, stinky burps, bloated, depressive behavior. Thank You Doctor Paul💫🌷🌞

Maybe vegetables are bad if you cook them properly. Just take a look at traditional preparations of collard greens in the USA South, where it's cooks for hours to get it extremely tender. What's "bad" is if you eat a lot of **raw** green salads of kale/spinach, where oxalates and anti-nutrients remain present. Tried Paul's meat and fruit diet for the last year and it got me very lean, but also gave me bad skin (face breakouts) and poor bowel movements. Started to add back cruciferous vegetables (steamed until tender, tend sautéed in non seed oils) and already starting to make improvements.
My mind is currently blown.... Our church just started today reading the Bible front to back. Genesis 1: 29-30...🤯 I have given you every plant yielding seed that is on the surface of the Earth and every tree which has fruit yielding seed. It shall be food for you. And every beast of the earth and to every bird of the sky into everything that moves on Earth which has life, I have given every green plant for food and it was so.
A small exercise routine can probably be helpful, but be careful. If you ditch seed oils, and don't consume like 40% of fat, getting your calories right can be tricky. The priority should be getting enough calories to dial up your thyroid. That's 3000kcal for the average man, 2500kcal for a woman with no physical activity. The total number of calories is abysmally low in the official recommendation literature. If you look at the litterature on caloric consumption, you stumble upon studies where they measured the caloric consumption of 10-year old kids in 1960. These kids ate 2500kcal. Most women today consume less than that. Most "fit" nutrition youtubers get it wrong, like Thomas DeLauer whose testosterone levels are a quarter of those of Paul (200 vs 900, lol...) because the guy over-exercises, and don't eat enough carbs.
@@hyperTorless that’s why I’d like for him to make a 3 day a week plan for people to follow if they’d like. I myself have switched from a 5 day a week plan to a 3 day a week plan. I’ve been in the game for a long time but I still would like to see what he comes up with
@@hyperTorless I also completely agree that we do not eat enough. It took a lot for me to up my calorie intake by almost 1,000kcal a day (thinking I’d put a shit ton of body fat on) but the opposite happened and I feel so much better
Love that you eat raw organs instead of cooked! This is because organs can become tougher, have more of a mineral-y taste, and just become less delicious and rich. Additionally, when you don’t cook meat, you preserve a lot of the nutrients present like vitamin C and the b vitamin complex. Some of my favorite dishes for raw organ and muscle meat are foie gras (from healthy, not sick, animals, of course), steak tartare, carpaccio, sashimi, kibbeh (not the fried version), and tataki.

I have been carnivore for four full months now and really like it, but I have suffered with constipation since I started it. I am feeling better in other ways, though. I am very interested in what you have to say. I have been eating up to 2/3 to 1 tablespoon of, extra-virgin raw honey a day and occasionally blackberries or blueberries. I do eat butter as well as goats cheese and organic sour cream in small amounts. Obviously, this is in addition to meat, bone broth, and liver (cooked.) will continue to pursue looking into what you are saying. Thank you.
I have been watching your content since the beginning. Question. What are your thoughts on fruit, honey, and raw milk for epilepsy, is keto carnivore best or would epilepsy be improve by adding these carbs specifically for a child?
@@jm47889 I understand that part. But if it’s an epilepsy caused by metal toxicity for example. Is it worth eating wild blueberries for detoxification maybe cilantro and spirulina or is ketosis enough. I know he talks about fruits bettering hormones. So is it best to take medication and eat fruits or is it just best to stay in ketosis and avoid it all. Again specifically for a child who has a chance to outgrow epilepsy.
@@mataperro818Great questions. Carbs and processed foods are ubiquitous, so is it really the ketogenic part of the diet or is it removing inflammatory processed foods?
@@allenbrost9564 Right. That is my point exactly is it better to focus on everything that brings down inflammation like fruits for example. Or is keto enough? And is keto just treating the symptoms? Can fruit an herbs speed up the healing process?
I would say it depends on the individual. Some people can handle nutrient deficiencies better than others... I would just make an effort to add some bone broth to your diet. I always prefer getting fresh bone broth but if you can't, I would take Skin, Hair, and Nails from Heart&Soil Supplements.
Yep, they are sneaking in on every food they can with their stupid chemicals. It sucks. Only way, to be safe, is to grow your own stuff or buy fresh from local people you can talk to. But then lots of us won't have fruits for like 5-8 months a year. Paul made a very good decision to move to Costa Rica. Amazing country, amazing food quality.
Focus on fruits that have their own natural peel or skin which you can remove and not eat. Bananas, apples, mangoes, pears, oranges. Take the skin off before consuming and you’re not getting any “apeel”.

Paul’s: 1. Not getting enough collagen (amino acid imbalance) 2. Not getting enough carbohydrates (lack of electrolytes) 3. Not eating organs (amino acid imbalance) Mine: 1. Honestly, if you eat Organic everything, Grass Fed, no seed oils, no sugar, and fast regularly, you should be way healthier than 95% of the people out there. The key to things like adding some honey will be moderation. Do it once in a while, and have self-discipline to not overdo that. Pay attention to your body. Keep a logbook. It literally helps you know what's going on. Weigh yourself in the morning, after using the bathroom, and before drinking or eating anything. Write that down. Write down what you eat. Give a rating 1 to 10 for how you feel in the morning, mid-day, and at night before you go to bed. Note things like headaches, cramps, nausea, diarrhea, dizziness, gas, etc. It takes just a few minutes out of each day to do this, but provides amazingly valuable information. Especially if you ever end up in the hospital, really sick. A doctor can look at that and maybe see something that's causing your problem, or creating a fertile environment for it to happen. But it provides you even more valuable info. You may see a pattern. You eat something and a day or three later, you have a headache, diarrhea, etc...
I came to the same conclusion during the pandemic. I kind of always knew it to be true but you can basically find multiple scientific studies to prove whichever viewpoint you want to have. So in the end when it comes to diet quite simply you have to experiment and see what makes you feel good. Congratulations you are now the guinea pig

Not sure I agree with the carb thing, which makes this video valuable for me. There's no point in only exposing yourself to ideas that you are already on board with.
Hey Paul. I watched your video with Thomas DeLauer that came out a couple weeks ago. You were talking about how with you significantly improve your diet, you will naturally wanna move. I believe this is true depending on what you do with yourself. The one thing with will stop that even though you're healthy is overstimulation with technology with your phone, social media, and TV, and video games. It's so common these days that it's over looked. I've been treating my unnatural stimulation as part of my diet because it was something you're consuming. I wanted to know what you think about that.
Mistake number 4: combining papaya or protease rich fruits with dairy You will be stuck in the toilet for the next 24 hours, especially if you're lactose intolerant.
@@shnibby12 then you're most likely not lactose intolerant. Lactase is a protein and any protease enzymes present in fruits will denature the lactase enzyme your body releases. If you're lactose intolerant, that enzyme is already small enough as it is, and the protease will destroy that small quantity too. Every single time I've consumed milk or yogurt in quantities that I can otherwise safely consume, whenever combined with papaya or pineapple, it gave me bad, really bad diarrhea.

I'm not sure what's going on. I've been on the diet you suggest for almost 2 months, although I do feel better, and my inflammation is almost completely gone, I only have a couple hours of energy a day. I've adjusted my carbs from fruit because I'm not as active as you. I work in restaurants, so I'm moving at work for several hours almost constantly. I drink a lot of water, I salt my food well, and even use electrolytes on days I don't eat so much. I mostly eat ground beef because that's what I can afford. I eat a few ounces of heart daily, and sometimes liver. I also lift weights about 3 to 4 hours a week. I could use some more cardio in my routine, which I will add soon, but it's very hard with how tired I am. I sleep at least 7 hours a night, and wake up feeling pretty rested, but by noon I'm ready to just sit down. Not sure what to make of it, and of course, I can't get a doctor to run my blood work, and I can't afford the tests at this time.
Could it be that you’re not getting enough Fatty Meat? I know you said you only eat Ground Meat, maybe that could be it? Do you eat Lean Ground Beef, like 93/7 or 95/5? Maybe try going more fatty to 80/20 or even 85/15?? That could very well explain your energy dumps.

Ive been carnivore for a few months now. No dairy. I added fruit back in. My sugar cravings and crazy hunger came back bad.
When I added fruit on the carnivore diet, I started craving sugar. It does spike blood sugar along with too much protein. Balancing electrolytes and adding in a cup of asparagus a day for the microbiome is what worked for me.
I also did the same, eventually I went back to carnivore
I've been eating apples. Those don't seem to trigger the sugar cravings. I think the glycemic index for an apple is around 35, so not too bad.

Basic question to Paul: should some people prefer to be in ketosis? Obviously not getting there if eating 150g of carbs per day.
Please educate me
@@Boselaphus That is a hotly debated question right now.

After ditching *all traces* of linoleic acid in your diet (no vegetable oil, except coconut oil and quality olive oil), you should try dialing down the proteins: it is believed that certain types of amino acids exacerbate metabolic dysfunction in unhealthy people.

And every beast of the earth and to every bird of the sky into everything that moves on Earth which has life, I have given every green plant for food and it was so.
I think you should make an exercise routine to go along with the diet
Not necessary for everybody.

Love that you eat raw organs instead of cooked!
This is because organs can become tougher, have more of a mineral-y taste, and just become less delicious and rich.
If you eat whole foods and pay close attention to how you feel and what food bothers you. Then make little adjustments too find your balance.
That fly that zips behind the fruit at 0:27 and waddles around the watermelon until 0:39 is definitely the star of the show.
I mean even the flies are having second thoughts about their diet!
Heart and Soil Supplements rip people off. They bottles are short and the customer service doesn’t help or care. Every bottle I bought was short. I’ve reached out Paul. No response.
You can also take too much of that stuff and get negative effects like I did. Turns out we really don't need organs, muscle meat is perfectly appropriate for our species
Paul's just milking his fanbase for money, carbohydrates at this level have absolutely no place in a healthy diet. Absolutely destroying your mitochondria & increasing oxidation and glycation in the body. Look into Paul Mason, he's a good starting point for a healthier diet. All the best
@@Zachhatesyoutube No, you do need organs, the most nutrient dense food on the whole planet. All ancestral communities considered muscle meat dog food. Liver and oyster are mandatory if you want to feel great. You don't need to buy supplements, just eat liver.
Just follow a ratio of muscle to organ meat. You don't need alot of organs. I have about 1 tablespoon of organ meat (swallowed down with water because I'm a baby about it) on the side with a meat meal. But not every day, I alternate with the bone broth. HTH☺️
@@rcristy Yes, very good point, you actually need it but not that much in terms of quantity.
I have cut out all processed junk food and sugar. However I live very rural, it’s over 200 miles round trip to the next biggest city. It is very difficult to get organs & raw milk and cheese. I looked into the supplements that Paul sells but they are expensive. We do buy our beef from farms so we have 3 freezers full of meat and I make my own bone broth, I buy whatever organic fruits I can get my hands on, I definitely feel better eating this way, I just don’t feel like I’m getting enough nutrients.
Ruined my liver trying to do this much fruit. Be careful. Meat, water, salt is all I need. When you’re able to live in Costa Rica in the sun 24/7 then fruit is great.
Out of everything that I've collected.. with all the nutrition companies that have been with one in particular that stands out right now which of course would be live good. The products are so down to earth and organic and healthy for you it's what you need in your body.
Now the only way I can share this is by putting it on to some sort of website.
Kind of like you walking in a Chick-fil-A or Chipotle or McDonald's and doing your little interviews and stuff with yourself telling people
Mistake # 1 is evolution: Start believing on the LORD Jesus Christ and acknowledge that he created everything even you
John 1 (KJV)
¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯
¹ In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
² The same was in the beginning with God.
³ All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made.
⁴ In him was life; and the life was the light of men.
⁵ And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not.

Evolution can't be proved
I find that when I eat bone broth, I get the same reaction (restless legs, sleep disturbance) as I get from msg. Research tells me that it's free glutamic acid that is the culprit. Also, glycine can turn to glutamate in some people. Very bad excitotoxic for some people.
Nothing beats meat 🍖
😏
I beat my meat!
Nobody beats my meat!
hey paul, i just got engaged and we were working on a registry and wanted to use non toxic cookware/utensils/storage, do you think you could make a video giving over recommendations or alternatives to mainstream items
*I love the grounded reality of this channel!!!*
Retirement took a toll on my finances, but with my involvement in the digital market, $27,000 weekly returns has been life changing. AWESOME GOD❤️
Only God knows how much grateful i am. After so much struggles I now own a new house and my family is happy once again everything is finally falling into place!!
Wow that's huge, how do you make that much monthly?
I'm 37 and have been looking for ways to be successful, please how??
Thanks to my co-worker (Alex) who suggested Ms Maria Angelina Alexander.
She's a licensed broker in the states 🇺🇸
I am subscribed, but I wish to DOUBLE subscribe ! THIS DOCTOR IS INCREDIBLE !
Not sure I agree with the carb thing, which makes this video valuable for me. There's no point in only exposing yourself to ideas that you are already on board with.
@Pemulis, you are a wise person-and rare. ❤
Mistake number 4: combining papaya or protease rich fruits with dairy
You will be stuck in the toilet for the next 24 hours, especially if you're lactose intolerant.
I can safely say that this is not true.
I truly don't know what to say. Mainly because of all your robust videos that you have out there. So many videos... But that's what it takes sometimes.
Hopefully you don't mind I've been taking your UA-cam shortcodes and putting them on my direct me link I like to show it to you.
And yet so many folks thrive without the fruit, honey and dairy. Yes our ancestors will have eaten some honey: small amounts, infrequently.
Paul has stated many times that if you’re already thriving then there is no need to change your diet.
Yes it really depends on what works for you. Carbs straight up make some people worse. Usually if your carnivore and struggling for energy up your fat. 150 grams of carbs is a huge amount and many would say that ain't the meat based way. I definitely include some more carbs than I used to but not 150 a day. Forget about ketosis if you do that. Still some good stuff here bit there's alot of stuff out there on sugar and fructose to consider. Everyone is different
@@kirilusf1968 What happens if you get out of ketosis?
Guys i'm 7 weeks in carnivore but I don't get any of the benefits. Have always heart palpitations and low energy. Also my ldl is skyrocketing at 400... Should I reintroduce carbs back?
@cassieoz1702, You have an incorrect understanding of what the diet of our prehistoric humans ancestors was like. For most of history our ancestors lived in the tropics with year your fruit access. We only moved into temperate and cold climates very recently. Also, our ancestors were getting a lot of glucose from the glycogen in the muscle meat of fresh kills.
What is the best way to cook the steak or any meat? Do you suggest cast iron. Where did you get your grill?
“Don’t fear fruit studies say it’s good for you” meanwhile guy turns around and says ”vegetables are bad”
And , where's the problem
They are two different foods. Both are carbohydrates but affect the body differently.
I would definitely have to do the capsules. There’s no way I could get down or organs is bad enough. I’m trying to incorporate the beef in my diet slowly making changes.🙏🏻
If it’s not real don’t eat it balance out your food veg fruits dairy meat
Yeah right,,, so eating fruits and veggies including organic run the risk of the glyphosates that are sprayed ( same ingredients in round up) on them,, the soil that organics are planted in have what is called forever chemicals) it’s not a winnable situation,, best to stick with high density meat diet with few fruits
Is hyperglycemia an issue with too much fruit? My hemoglobin A1C is 5.6 borderline pre diabetic?
How is this Animal based? Looks like fruit based.
Its the primal diet
Straight to the point and quality, easy to digest information.
Thanks for the valuable information. You said to eat raw liver. It will be the same to eat it cooked. I prepare and eat almost daily a liver pate that I love.
I love your videos and your enthusiasm. Thank you
This videos awesome. I learnt some new things and I've been watching videos like thee forever
0:35 flies love watermelon, too...🪰
♥️♥️♥️this type of nutrition & I’m thriving🍥🪴😍
That's your evidence. I added fruits yesterday and I almost didn't sleep. Fever, bloated stomach, severe cramps, and today, thoracic pain, which is gas escaping from guts. My blood sugar is so high and no ketones (0.1). So of course your advices helped, but just to feel bad !
How did our ancestors get the collagen? What did they eat and why is it more important for us now?
Paul Saladino please help me there is plastic stuck in my arm!
I have a suture in my shoulder from surgery 4 years ago for a snowboard accident i had. The string in my arm they used to sow my labrum is made from a non-dissolvable nylon material.
I am 23 yr old guy now and I feel completely disassociated with my left arm down. I am concerned that the nylon may be negatively reacting with my body. Do you know if there is any evidence of this?
Excellent and thanks for sharing. No livers for me.
Morning.i do strict carnivore diet for four weeks.i feel empty my tension is down I can t exercise.whats the problem.should I add fruit and honey.please help me.thank you so much. ❤❤
But where to find raw dairy ? I live in Australia and it's not legal to sell these products at the supermarket.
If only you could try a Fatty Ribeye or Porterhouse Steak and see what your energy would be like coming from that Meal alone.
I also would recommend Bananas, IMHO they are a Lifesaver in terms of Energy.
I have a difficult time eating enough calories in a day, very busy and a small stomach--too small for OMAD. I used to do smoothies and loved the convenience and way to get my calories. Any suggestions for an animal based diet smoothie?
