    Sent a message to aldi. Just watched a video from Dr. Paul Saladino about the best meats and other foods to buy at aldi for clean, organic food. Store manager rudely told him he couldn’t make his video and threw him out. Way to go. Literally thousands of people are excited to go buy the items he recommends. Personally, I changed my mind and ordered from wild pastures instead.

They also have many other organic products. The 85/15 Organic grass fed ground beef is great for $3.99 s pound. Also good prices on organic and free range eggs.

Funny how it seemed to be hidden up high to try to sell 10 regular pre-made burger for 10 dollars. Ended up alot per pound. I had to search for it. So delicious on the grill. Bobby approved. Actually it’s the opposite of Woke. ALDIs isn’t like every other American grocery store, they operate with in European way. They do not want “social media influencers” going into their store to film and distract other customers. Their business model is for people to go in and get their shit and out super fast, no time wasting. Their checkout person is also timed on items scanned to ensure it’s a fast paced environment. The whole vibe of the store would change if influencers were going in just to blog lol the Woke businesses support influencers coming in a filming without any consideration of shoppers who hate being on recorded. ALDIs doesn’t need nor want influencers promoting their stores, Their business model had worked successfully for decades in both Europe and the US.

    For the those of you who didn’t know, not all chickens are solely grain fed. For example, my chickens are 100% pasture raised which means that they eat bugs, frogs, grass (that’s right, chickens eat grass basically all day. They are grazers like cattle), and whatever else they can snag on the pasture. Just a little info from a local sustainable organic garner/farmer. Paul you mentioned in the video that chickens eat grain and that’s why you prefer cow meat. Sounds like you’re eating the wrong stuff. Go with organic pasture raised chicken and you’ll be a happy camper 😎

    I think people are getting tired of influencers everywhere. If I came in to shop and saw a production going on that was going to get in my way or that I would end up in a video without my permission I would turn around and leave. Maybe call ahead and ask permission to film next time.

      @@liberpater1342 why would a grocery store prohibit a video recording inside of its store? Is it because they are afraid that the masses will see how crappy their produce is? Is it because they are afraid that they will be exposed for the crooked marketing strategies they use to trick consumers? Is it because the manager is afraid that someone will expose her poor performance or the poor performance of her staff? Is it because of some other shady reasons? There is ZERO reasonable expectation of privacy in a grocery store, therefore there would be no reasonable policy that is enforceable by law, as a matter of fact, you don't need to sign any agreements when you shop at Aldi, and as such you are not bound to any policies that this store implemented, they can ask you to leave, but they can't force you to leave, as otherwise they may face discrimination or harassment charges.

      @@onionpeeler2023 So I see we have a budding law scholar here! Let me set you straight as you have ABSOLUTELY NO CLUE, I mean 0%, as to what you're babbling about. When you enter into a business you have by default agreed to follow THEIR policies. If you violate those policies, regardless if YOU like them or not, they ABSOLUTELY have the right to ask you to stop OR have you removed from the premisses. If you refuse to leave you can be issued a trespass warning. If you violate that warning you can be criminally trespassed and arrested by authorities. This is a PRIVATE property for public accommodation and IS NOT the same public space as a sidewalk or a park. So as long as the policies are across the board for EVERYONE who enters the establishment and do not run afoul of discrimination laws, a private business HAS THE ABSOLUTE RIGHT to have you removed for violating their policies. You've been educated. You're welcome.

    Everyone tells me how affordable and great Aldi's is, but I don't see it. I feel the quality is like I'm shopping at the dollar store for groceries. Whole foods will always be my store of choice.

      Whole Foods is grossly overpriced and most are located in areas with money for a reason. Most people can’t afford Whole Foods or just simply won’t.
      In recent years, regular grocery stores have been doing a lot better in getting healthy options in their stores because they know the demand is there.
      I have a Festival Foods by my house and pretty much every section of that store has a “natural and organic” section.

      @Healthy_Lifestyle_Advocate 6 місяців тому

      @@shawng4886 you are absolutely correct most people can't afford whole foods. However, we are one income and my husband doesn't make that much money. Instead, of wasting money on alcohol, cigarettes, or other things that are harmful and a waste of money, we choose to shop at whole foods and get quality food.
      I have noticed though that the produce at whole foods isn't that much more expensive than other stores and actually sometimes it's cheaper, especially if you have prime.
      We used Dave Ramsey baby steps to get out of debt and pay things off.
      We live minimally with no debt, which is why we can afford high quality food.
      Everyone is capable and has a choice, but it's all on where you want to put your money.

    When I worked for various grocers, we were trained to watch out for "spies" that are "scoping or casing" the store to either directly compete via pricing, to commit theft, or to find a way to slander for a competitor's benefit. To be honest, they were not lying as I personally caught many people doing this. Only maybe one the entire time in my grocery career was it someone being honest like yourself. A bit of advice for you in the future, I strongly suggest contacting the local corporate office public relations department, introduce who you are, if possible, have a one on one sit down, and then get approval for in store filming. They will contact the management of what store you plan to visit to expect you upon the approval. This will make for a more pleasant experience for everyone involved.

I understand why they don't want you videoing in the storet, but it was a generally positive report for them and it won't affect my decision to shop there.

      If you crave carbs go for homemade bread, biscuitsn etc. made from einkorn flour. I have never seen anything but organic einkorn. It doesn't do well with pesticides so the farmers don't even use them. It's also the highest in nutrients and the least fattening. Jovial Foods sells a great cookbook too that helps you get good results from this low-gluten flour.
