  • Out in Japan, we have the case of a multi-millionare with an extreme obsession with white women, leading him on a crime spree that would ultimately consist of 400 different victims... some of them living through their ordeal, and some of them not.
Once again, thank you for the support, everyone.

Bc that's how Japan is😭? The police and the whole country minds their business way too much and believe their country is so good that nothing bad can ever happened, which is true for the most part but this view makes them blind to very obvious red flags(or at least obvious to most ppl) and makes the police pretty dumb

    • @Stealth86651

Not incompetent, it's pretty well known that the police don't bother companies or the rich unless there's a massive crisis in Japan. Like Korea, if you're rich or own a successful company you can do basically whatever they want.

Japanese police only care about sure-thing convictions. They're notorious for giving up if they can't guarantee a win in court, and will routinely detain people for "questioning" and isolation until the person they dragged in caves and submits a confession or they have to let them go after about a month.

When I was 18 (many years ago) I was offered a job in Japan as a golf caddy and companion for wealthy businessmen. I was a 5'2", curvy, blonde, _very_ pale skinned, blue eyed white woman. I was seriously considering the job, but was tipped off by a Japanese woman, a friend of my mother, that I shouldn't go, that it wasn't truly safe. I'm glad I listened.

The fact that there is not one picture of this coward from the time the trial was happening shows the level of protection a wealthy man gets in Japan. Even from the japanese media. As for the police and judicial system, it is just horrible. And a shame. For a culture --that of NIppon-- that is based on shame-avoidance (just like western is guilt-avoidance), the concept of what is shameful over there is certainly strange.

One thing to note about Japanese culture is a lot of them are openly and proudly racist. Lots of bars and restaurants outside of tourist areas have signs that say "NO FOREIGNERS". They especially hate if you live there.
A friend of mine who I met when he was here in the US for an exchange program at NYU was born/raised in Tokyo, but he looks african american because he's mixed. It doesn't matter if you can speak perfect japanese and have a japanese passport, they just don't want you in their establishment.
We once tried going to a random bar/club and the host said that I am welcome in but he had to leave. I'm a chinese american dude born/raised in NYC.

Yeah, I remember reading a Moebius comic back as a kid and it "humorously" had one panel where a dude, immediately upon escaping slavery or prison or, something, said something along the lines of, "And now to begin my campaign of revenge against society!"
It's wild because, the same concept was explained by this murderer here, this notion of being wronged by "society" and the child-like desire to enact a campaign of revenge against it, it sounds so stupid, it is how little children think, yet, it is also extremely common for all kinds of baddies to be driven by that exact thought.
I mean, this dude.... He inherits enough money to have true freedom, he can do absolutely anything, never has to work, always will have money to blow, he is truly just FREE in a way so few people will ever, ever know... And all he can think to do with this ability to do ANYTHING, is to destroy as many at-risk women as possible.... because, like a little baby, he is mad at the "society" that made him filthy rich, despite not having earned a dime, or done anything of value, for anyone.
idk, it's just wild to me how some "men" think.
This case too, and this is only tangentially related, but I think it goes to show that all the money in the world, all that gets you, is a whole bunch of money. You cease to have actual real-world physical problems, so all your innate drives and stuff, send you into the depths of introspective nightmares... When you can't cover the rent, that is a very specific thing to stress about. You need a dentist appointment, but have no insurance. You spend hours each day doing what all u gotta do to keep the lights on and food in your belly, and that right there, that's a human life.

as others have said, "concrete evidence" oof. not meaning to criticize your word usage, Dire. The criminal system in Japan is ridiculous. Their statistics are insane too. Check out another vid on their skewed homeless statistics. Not as intense as this vid but quite revealing.

Hi, Kyle. I wanted to say a few words because my health is deteriorating and I may die soon. I really wanted to support your patreon because you're the best and only true crime channel I watch nowadays, but unfortunately I have too much medical debt to donate.
I love your sense of humor and the way you explain the cases clearly. I'm very happy to see your channel thriving. I know you've lived here and Japan and if you ever decide to visit the Aichi-ken prefecture, I wish I could at least treat you to a meal (although it would have to be at a cheaper chain restaurant due to my financial difficulties.)
I was a vitctim of money extortion, sexual and physical assault here in Japan for 3 years and got no justice and that person is free at this moment (due to him being a minor at the time when the age of majority for crimes was still 29 years old). Goes to show the incompetency of the Japanese police that is shown evidently in this video.
Although my mental health has led to suicide attempts that left physicall consequences and bad coping behavior like substance abuse, I still have faith I will be able to get back on track again and eventually be employed and have some spare money to support my favorite true crime channel.
If you ended um reading this comment, thank you again for your hard work. You're the best!
