It’s hard I know. But forgiving is actually better for your own heart. Grief and anger can damage your well being. It can change you, maybe becoming the same thing you hated so much.
Dire Trip, you sir, are a TRUE source of a factual information. I heard of Taylor Schabusiness’ crime, but I had NO IDEA she did even half of this sh** like this. Nobody reports the actual events. Good job! 👍 What’a F’ing horrific crime!? 😳
I never realized what a regular, goofy looking kid she was. Like she could have been anyone. This crime is a terrible disregard of life, but her lived LIFE is a terrible waste of life.
It's always really eerie to see what meth in particular does to people. It's basically a mix of Adderall and things like battery acid and drain cleaner, which I don't understand how that doesn't mess up peoples' GI tracts before anything else, but it eats literal holes in the brain. I've known several people who are former addicts of it and what exactly the damage manifests as is interesting, I suppose. As a behavioral analyst I can pick up on a single set of behaviors it appears to affect. It's like they have emotional dysregulation but instead of focusing on the emotional side of things, their perception of reality and what's socially appropriate becomes skewed to the point of delusional thinking, which isn't really unexpected in any drug addict, but with meth at least, it leads to specifically mental coping mechanisms and even minor traumas becoming very pronounced issues in their head while being very muted at the same time. In her case, she probably doesn't see what she did as a disregard of life, but in fact the opposite. Because she took the loss of her mother and brother so hard, it's telling why she did what she did when she says "If you really love someone, you want to kill them.". She sees every person she loves as having died and almost loves them more after they're dead in her mind because of how much their deaths hurt her. She took the drugs to kill that pain. The neurotypical version of her feelings for the man is that she loved him and would have been traumatized had he died, so in her state of having a drug-eaten brain, she rationalized that if she kills him herself, she'll lose him on her own terms so his death won't hurt her and he'll basically have a happy place in her memories. I'd say the real most terrible thing in this case is the drugs. Worse, I'd think a fair amount of meth users want their brains to permanently disassociate from loss exactly like this, as though it's preferable to whatever they're going through...
Taylor’s child is going to have to burden the knowledge of their family’s past eventually hopefully their grandmother will be able to provide for them as much as possible to try and prevent this cursed legacy from continuing.
The child is also very likely to suffer from mental illness as well and have a predisposition to addiction. I feel for the child. She was so selfish in everything she did and had no business bringing life into this world. Some people just shouldn’t have kids.
You are always so thorough in your case coverage. You went over so many facts about this case that I didn't know. I appreciate that you don't shy away from talking about the worst parts of the case. I personally feel like watering down what the person went through belittles their suffering.
Thank you for bringing an in depth look into her background. I've followed this story and still haven't heard all these extra details that you researched & covered. You are so awesome at what you do!
Almost but you 100% can’t . I personally think she was born evil aka as a psychopath. I don’t believe her trauma created a sociopath. She was born a psychopath. The extent of her crime is beyond the “norm” . Her lack of remorse is psychopathic and even her behaviour as a child was psycophathic . Unfortunately some people are born evil

This is really fascinating and important. I've seen a few other things on this case, but none of them covered her life history at all. That part is completely new to me. Like you said, this is NOT an excuse, but it's good to analyze and understand how certain conditions can play a significant part in the psychology of extreme crimes like this. You handled this case very well indeed. Great job.
This is why you are the 🐐 I've heard this story multiple times but never with so much detail. I had no idea about that stuff with her childhood. You never fail to impress.
Great presentation of a grim story. Love the new information you could bring, the extensive background is always a welcome addition to these kinds of cases; they just deserve that extra bit of attention. Keep up the great videos
This is the first time I've seen pictures of her when she was younger. :o Awesome. Also, not sure if you intended, but "Taylor was swiftly arrested" had me losing it.
Wow you did an amazing job with this! I remember seeing her arrest and when the police found the bucket on other channels but you really went above and beyond. Awesome!
She mutilated a man, showed zero remorse… as a mother of boys, I could never forgive her. I could never be the same after seeing my child dismembered. This entire case is insane, it’s insane that she’s just sitting in prison being taken care of for the rest of her life, laughing about what she had done.. she’s probably living her best life in there. Absolute bs..
Hey, rlly appreciated this video & how detailed it is. These things need to be talked abt. Could u do a detailed video on the Josef Fritzl case if u haven’t already? Thanks💚
How awful for his mother to find what she did. How does anybody ever get over something like this? The jurors on this case must have been mentally scarred for life. Her husband is almost insane as her too.
I like the additional childhood stories. How different her life may have been if she had stayed in Texas far from her abuser and familiar vices! I know why he probably skipped it, but her victim’s “manhood” was also it the bucket. And she wasn’t in the van when the cops found her: she had a trail of blood leading into the appartement or duplex where she was staying. That’s where the baseball cap footage comes from.
All i can say is "WOW"! I've heard some pretty f#@d up stuff but what she did to that man was beyond gruesome... geez i couldn't imagine going to check on your kid and find a bucket with their head N junk in it wtf 🙈
I think you might interested to cover the case of Ricardo López, known as "Björk Stalker". He actually left behind his thought process in disturbing video tapes, i think some parts of them are public. The crime by itself is pretty unusual with the intentions behind and how it was prevented by law enforcement, since the perpatrator was already dead "doing" the assault. In shorter words, worth to take a look, not even for a video purpose.
"ever love something so much you want to kìḷḷ it?" that's disturbing but then again so is the more widely accepted, "you're so cute I could just eat you up." that ppl say to kids. that always freaked me out so much.
I have never heard of this case. This channel has been my new go to and I am absolutely hooked. I listen to a lot of true crime and man this one hit me. Superb episode Kyle.
Thanks for providing her background, most thorough I've seen about this case. I agree she wasn't insane and am always amazed at defense attys enthusiasm to appeal for monsters like this. While I understand all the factors that created what she turned into (especially her own father, that was something that was like ah, of course, this would fck up a child even more, on top of her mother's death), I do think the justice was served.
I really enjoyed this one….. Like you…. I want to know how bad of a s**t storm someone goes through before they snap! I had a hard childhood with several traumas and chose to be a loving person. Some people are just wired differently…. So many factors play into it.
I almost died of a liver cirrhosis. Not alcool related, more medication induced, and it's a scary illness. I've had digestive hemorrhage, a form of dementia called "encephalopathy," which is similar to age related dementia, and at some point, got blood poisoning. It's nothing funny, and I'm baffled that someone still continues to drink even in that state.
So she turned that boy out….. literally I can say with confidence as a former drug addict and a rehabilitated criminal that has had the unfortunate chance of being around individuals like this, you can look at Shad and tell Taylor introduced him to all these things. That guy probably never did drugs or anything then Taylor came. She was married to a in and out of prison guy before. So I can guarantee you yeah she turned that boy out. I’m 30 and 2 years sober and I’m so glad I quit, proved to the court I was rehabilitated. Thank god. This is the reality of hardcore drug addicts though I’ve seen it been there. Things like this just make me more confident I will stay sober for the rest of my life and hopefully never have to associate with those types of people again, at the same time they are sick addicts and if they try they can come back but most don’t and don’t try or care.

Good job! 👍
What’a F’ing horrific crime!? 😳
I'm so glad you did such an in depth video on this case! This is the first time I've heard her back story in detail. Thank you! :)
Worse, I'd think a fair amount of meth users want their brains to permanently disassociate from loss exactly like this, as though it's preferable to whatever they're going through...
na she looked weird as a kid bruh
Plenty of people have similar stories without murdering people. She didn't have a chance with her pedigree lol.
You have more hope for that kid than is even remotely reasonable.
Trauma crawls through generations. Even generations later you can see that.
Nada a ver!
Crazy you can almost see moments where she looked like a normal happy person
Almost but you 100% can’t . I personally think she was born evil aka as a psychopath. I don’t believe her trauma created a sociopath. She was born a psychopath. The extent of her crime is beyond the “norm” . Her lack of remorse is psychopathic and even her behaviour as a child was psycophathic . Unfortunately some people are born evil
@@welsh.truth.dragon3914
What sickens me is peoples trying to say she was « unfit to stand trial » despite the fact that she clearly understand right from wrong and that murder is bad.
@@KalashVodka175 agreed. A psychopath is fit to stand trail and so was she .
@@welsh.truth.dragon3914her SA from her father and the drugs defintely didn’t help
When her father came in to court to testify as a character witness for her, she lit up like a Christmas tree.
There's a lot of autism and ADHD in my family but none of us are psychos like Taylor, I'm scared of people like this
Here after True Crime Recaps gave me the skinny on this months ago - was WAITING for the right deep dive to embark on, and yours is the first vid I seen on my feed this morning. Happy Sunday, Mr. Dire Trip😎🤪
AMAZING!! No one’s ever detailed Taylor’s life like that!!! You did awesome job on this one!
Maybe cover more killers from their childhood!!
Great job.
This is why you are the 🐐
I've heard this story multiple times but never with so much detail. I had no idea about that stuff with her childhood. You never fail to impress.
You’re right Kyle…this is your best work to date. You hit this one out of the park 👏👏👏👏👏👏
I knew when you were describing her teenage behaviors that she had been messed with by her dad.
I’ve never heard her background the way you told it. Great job!
Wow you did an amazing job with this! I remember seeing her arrest and when the police found the bucket on other channels but you really went above and beyond. Awesome!
I've been interested in this case as a crazy person myself and I appreciate all these new details I'm learning here. Good job!
I love listening to your work and enjoy listening them when i sleep
Love your channel. Great job covering this case. All your cases are covered well..keep up the good work!
Hey K- killer work as usual. My original prediction of half a mill by Easter was off, the new estimation is 4-19 🤘
Another great job! You are a very good story teller! I like your cool style! Keep up your great work!!!!
great coverage, thanks for doing this.
I like your version of the story of Taylor Schabusiness. You showed the things that led her to commit a serious crime.
Kudos.
Hey, rlly appreciated this video & how detailed it is. These things need to be talked abt.
Could u do a detailed video on the Josef Fritzl case if u haven’t already? Thanks💚
Very high quality documentary .Thank you for producing such good quality videos.
Vamos Dire al millón! Gracias ❤
How awful for his mother to find what she did. How does anybody ever get over something like this?
The jurors on this case must have been mentally scarred for life.
Her husband is almost insane as her too.
Well, thank you. I feel pretty normal now. ✌✌
You may have missed it, but the video mentioned it was in the bucket. It was the first I'd heard of it so it stood out.
@@sandrafaithSaying “it stood out” caused me to have an unwanted mental image. I regret to nform you that my lawyer will be in touch.
best coverage ive seen of this case from a youtuber thus far👏
You've done a great job here. Thanks
All i can say is "WOW"! I've heard some pretty f#@d up stuff but what she did to that man was beyond gruesome... geez i couldn't imagine going to check on your kid and find a bucket with their head N junk in it wtf 🙈
her bone structure, her expressions, her cold black eyes, everything about her is terrifying.
Absolutely, her eyes are utterly soulless
Down here we had a very media driven case, where the killer's pics both before and after don't do her any favours.
Nahir Galarza, if you're curious.
how the fuck is a bone structure terrifying? a person cant do anything about their bone structure
Demonic possession
😢 What a horribly difficult job to be a juror on this case. All the many and various dysfunctions and evil deeds...
This has so much more than just her crime. She was beyond messed up when this happened.
RIP Shad. You didn’t deserve what happened to you 💔 I hope his mother especially is getting the help she needs.
"ever love something so much you want to kìḷḷ it?"
that's disturbing but then again so is the more widely accepted, "you're so cute I could just eat you up." that ppl say to kids. that always freaked me out so much.
“What’d you do with the head Taylor?”
“None of Schabusiness!!!”
"Taylor was swiftly arrested" LOL
I see what he did there! 😏
I have never heard of this case. This channel has been my new go to and I am absolutely hooked. I listen to a lot of true crime and man this one hit me. Superb episode Kyle.
May he rest in peace he didn't deserve that❤
🎉🎉This covered just about everything I wanted to know about this case. Exceptional work. Horrific case nonetheless. May she continue to get hers.
Theres a reason we keep coming back to you DT.
Keep up the awesome work man.
My jaw hit the floor in the middle of this one.
Man, this chick. I watched her trial. She has no remorse in the least.
this happened right down the road from us. shad was my bfs cousin. the c u next Tuesday is pure evil.
I really enjoyed this one…..
Like you…. I want to know how bad of a s**t storm someone goes through before they snap!
I had a hard childhood with several traumas and chose to be a loving person.
Some people are just wired differently….
So many factors play into it.
Reminder to mind Schabusiness.
His poor mom I couldn't even image finding my son like this 😮
I almost died of a liver cirrhosis.
Addiction. Simple as that
So she turned that boy out….. literally I can say with confidence as a former drug addict and a rehabilitated criminal that has had the unfortunate chance of being around individuals like this, you can look at Shad and tell Taylor introduced him to all these things.
I’m so early! Thank you Kyle. You posted this while I was binging your account as I regularly do. I love the rewatch ability of your content. Thank you for what you do.
Many people have a rough upbringing and they dont end up as psychopathic killers. She was born with that evil inside her.
no such thing. superstitious silliness
The majority of people are not born evil, they become that way after terrible treatment while young.

Thanks for the amount of detail on this, you told the chronology well.
that damn name,its.....fantastic 😂 😂
I love your content but the background music is too loud
I'll tone it down in the next vid!
Turn off youtube "Stable volume"
@diretrip Video sounds perfect to me. Maybe it's their sound that needs a few tweeks.??
No I can get what a few people are complaining about. Its only ever so slightly too much, and good advice from the person sayin about "stable audio"
It just wants to come down literally by a touch. Its not unwatchable though like some say...
Way too loud

Glad this one isn't a repeat of what we've already heard before from the anonymous tip. Let's go
Thank you I neeeded this it was dire
I have wondered about her past. Thanks.
Great deep dive into her past, making this well worth watching despite knowing about the case.
you could really see her going down hill with all the drug use
