@Irish Viking "Tis blasphemy to "rank" on the Beatles, but yes, this live performance by Jeff Lynne & his current incarnation of ELO pretty much blows away anything by the Beatles. Perhaps if the Beatles had the myriad of back up musicians & vocalists (assuming they all had survived & performed live in their later years), it would have approached Mr. Lynne's production.

I’m a man in my late twenties and I agree. Whatever good the Beatles did for pop and rock music, Jeff picked up that torch and made some truly great art of his own. Infused with tradition, innovation, passion, and integrity. The brilliance of the ELO vision and what Jeff Lynne has accomplished, it can’t be overstated. There’s still great art being made in this modern world, but you have to look harder. Those who do seek to find, make, or understand great art, I’m glad Jeff is still around to educate and entertain those masses with his artistic vision. It’s important to celebrate him and others while they’re still here, because one day they won’t be, and the road will be paved for someone else to have a similar (but different) impact of their own.

My favorite ELO song. Saw them in Nashville in 2019, and when they started Turn to Stone, I don't think I ever yelled 'yeah!' so hard in my life. I was never one for singing around family, friends, or strangers, but that night I sang every song, I didn't care how I sounded, I just sang my heart out. I would see them again in a heart beat.
It really sucks when you're at a concert and some idiot right beside you is singing at the top of their lungs. I don't pay good money to go to a concert to hear some idiot I want to hear the band
@@joehall5921 If there weren't people around me singing I probably wouldn't have, but everyone I looked at was so happy and singing along I just felt inclined to. It was also my first concert so I was already a bit nervous about singing and possibly disturbing the people around me, but they were all singing so I joined in.

At Madison Square Garden in New York in the late 1970s, all 20,000 people at one point were on their feet roaring in unison "ELO! ELO! ELO!" I've never seen a concert crowd so engaged and entertained in my life. Jeff Lynne and ELO totally rocked the Garden that night.
40 years later a lot of the same people were probably at MSG to see Jeff Lynne’s ELO, some with their kids.

Years ago, here in Ohio I was listening to the BBC, and suddenly its did broadcast ELO's music. The emotion of the BBC journalists when mentioning ELO moved me. This is one of the greatest bands ever.

What a song. Had to chance to see E.L.O. in the day but my girlfriend of the time had other plans for us. The concert would have been the right choice. One of life’s could have, should have moments.

Its 00:40 06/04/24 sitting here with a few beers and listening to ELO, I grew up listening to them and I still keep coming back while I'm looking to listen to good music having a drink before bed..plus they were 1 of my late fathers favourites which is why I have a good taste in music now 😁👍
Jeff is the real deal. His music is intoxicating. So under-rated.

I did see Jeff Lynne’s Electric Light Orchestra in New York 2016 Toronto in 2018 and 2019. They were voted the best live classic Rock Band in the world 🌎 and after seeing about more than 200 concerts in my life I totally agree. Let’s hope they tour one more time in 2022-2023. I will go wherever they play.🙏❤️👍

Finally a worthwhile use for Wembley
This concert is an incredible show. The soundquality, videoquality is amacing. And you can hear all the instruments, vocals and backgroundvocals so clear. And all that good music that I have listen to since I was very young. ELO's music will last forever.
It's also very nice to see how much fun the audience have, dancing and singing along. I always get in good mood myself listening to ELO.
I'm sure that the people that were in the audience, will remember the concert for the rest of their life 😊
