So great to see my generation having a blast at a concert. Brings back all kinds of feelings. I'm 73 and I was a single mom raising kids in the 70's. No time for concerts but the music was always part of my life. I was blessed to grow up with the 50's 60's and 70's music. Nothing comes close to it now.

From 1976 to this day ELO (Jeff Lynne) has been the best live band i have ever seen and i have seen lots and lots of concerts from legendary bands. I saw ELO in 1976, 1978, 1981, 2016, 2017, 2018 and 2019. I feel very fortunate. I will see them again in 2024.

It's just mind-blowing that Jeff Lynne has that spread of musicians and moving parts, technically speaking, and him and his band STILL sound IDENTICAL to the album recordings, if not even better; not to mention mixing the live audio in Wembley and adding the visual aspect to boot! Musical mastery and professionalism at the absolute highest level, to say the least! Incredible!

I saw ELO a few months ago at the FOX Theater in Bakersfield, California. What a treat! Thoroughly enjoyable.

The greatest guitarist n musician ever. He made the guitar do things that others had never dreamed of . To perform so brilliantly in his 70’s is a testament to his never ending ways of achieving perfection n giving us such a great cross of so many musical instruments from vocals to drums, base n guitars, piano, organs. Cello’s, violins … WOW… I bought one of their albums ( discover I think ) n never dreamed I’d be so hooked 50yrs later. Heading towards 70 but his music makes me feel in my 20’s!

Saw this band in concert February 6, 1976 at Lane County Fair Grounds, Eugene, OR. Great concert, these guys rocked the house and the lazer show was tops. Met my future wife April 2nd 1976 and this was the first song we danced to together. ELO has been a big part of my life for over 46 years. Keep Rockin!

You should have gone to see the mighty Slade. They were probably the best live band to ever grace a stage. Now don't get me wrong i love ELO's music(will be seeing them 15th Oct at Leeds Arena '18), and Jeff Lynne is without doubt an exceptionally talented musician/songwriter/producer and came up with the goods time and time again, and also puts on a great show, but(there's always a but), having already seen many many of the biggest bands out there 'Live', still to this day i have not seen any to better Slade for stagecraft. From the moment the lights went down it was a full on onslaught of power and energy, a catalogue of smash hits from start to finish played at a volume the like i've never witnessed at any other gigs. It was their call to the fans to 'Cum On 'FEEL' The Noize' and feel it you did. The bands whole career was built on their 'Live' shows and Noddy Holder's vocals were the loudest most earsplitting of any rock outfit, How i miss them.
All bands use riffs/melody's of dayz gone by and always will do. It's not a bad thing, it's what they do with them that counts.

Too be fair, every generation feels that way about the music they grew up with. Sinatra in the 40's, Elvis in the 50's, The Beatles in the 60's and so on.
