My mom always tells me about this concert, she was only 17 years old when she attended, she said all the performance did a amazing show but the one that stood out the most for her was Queen ... especially when they sung "we will rock you" she said she thought the stadium was going to collapse with all the people stomping their feet on the floor... she said she wasn't a big fan of queen but after that day she became one of this biggest fan... she was heart broken when he passed 💔 😢

It was normal. We read books, we talked to each other, we wrote letters, we played in the streets until dark, we talked on the phone… I was born in 1960 and am so glad I didn’t grow up with “socials” dictating my every thought process. I learned critical thinking not mass psychology… yes we have the world at out fingertips now but there is something to be said for being totally, completely, unplugged.

I could put this performance on a loop and watch it forever. I saw black and white poster of Freddy once and it said, "When I was a lad, my mother told me I could be anything I wanted to be. So I became a legend." How right he was. The rush it must have been looking out and seeing 73,000 people knowing every word and loving every minute of your remarkable talent.

Queens final live performance with Freddy out front took place on 9 August 1986 at Knebworth Park in England. Freddy would pass away from the AIDS Virus late 1991.
