A chef not recognising either chicken or beef is like an accountant not knowing how to add or subtract.
When Gordon appointed Lex as “Head Chef” and Ricky’s on screen title switched to “Ex-Head Chef” 💀
It would’ve been hilarious if Buzzard (the kitchen thief) turned up to the free burger giveaway. All whilst in a lame disguise.
It's always touching on Kitchen Nightmares when you see someone like Ricky do a major turnaround. It's really great the way he steps up at the end.
The problem with this show - help arrives too late. The restaurant improved but Lela had so much debt - there was no other outcome, but closing no matter what.
Legend says that Ricky is still rapping about diamonds on his fish.
I love how Lex was so confident in saying he was the better chef and he absolutely BLEW it, left, and the night was saved by the person he said he was better than. Hubris at its peak.
The thief has got a lot of nerve coming back in the next day after getting caught stealing the food that they needed
Tabithas more of an owner than the owner herself💀
I love the manager , wow she doesn’t own the restaurant but she is passionate and she loves the owner
“I’ve got big nuts”. Gordon shoulda replied “are they frozen?”
I really liked Ricky. Swallowed his ego quickly, and just kept to it.
Ricky took the criticism really well. Props to his attitude.
Say what you wish to say about Tabitha, but I appreciate that she actually takes her job seriously. She needed to stop so frequently coming to loggerheads with Ricky- and she did. She was clearly loyal to Lela and excelled in her new position. I hope she's excelling in whatever career she's pursuing now 🤞
Ricky is amazing when he steps in, he really showed his true colours under pressure and I'm glad gordon congratulated him afterwards as he deserved it. Thought he was a prick at the start but he said it himself at the end it was his ego! I wish them all the best even though the restraunt didn't survive in the end.
What a redemption arc for Ricky. When we first met him, he seemed like an arrogant man who was lazy, disrespectful and just had a “I don’t care what you all think” kind of vibe.
Ricky: "the recipe to Lela's burger is top secret."
Ricky seems like a character straight out of Key and Peele's sketches 😂
Ricky went home and did his research. He went from "He's just some guy." to "guy just opened up his own 3 million dollar restaurant" overnight 😂
Ricky: Nobody else complaining about it
