Wish I’d had this setup when I was camping each weekend in cloudcroft, nm.
You could wish all you want, you could even place an order, paid in full and you STILL wouldn’t have this tent or any other product they sell. They may have started off as a good company but they have become thieves and fraudsters! I’ve been reaching out to them since Dec 11th 2021 about my order and they have not returned my calls and have only provided bullshit automated emails that contain no useful information and will not even acknowledge my multiple requests for a refund. They are a disgrace in the outdoor community!
Can you stand up in this tent? or is it too tight for a 6 ft person to stand?
The center pole is 6ft I doubt you could stand comfortably.
Nice review. I’m from NM. Fantastic camping areas. Where in Northern NM were you camping?
South of Angel Fire, near Guadalupita. We also have some older videos we recorded on a previous trip to the area.
@@MBBushcraft Excellent. Wonderful area.
Thanks for your thoughts on this tent. Would you consider it a true 6-person tent, or is that wishful thinking on Luxe's part?
We haven't tried it.
Yes but very uncomfortable with no room for gear and definitely not the stove.
on a scale of 1 to 10 how would you rate the convenience of this tent factoring in the features and attributes
I would rate it an 8 over all, but like any tent design your intended use will dictate what you need for features and attributes. I don't recommend this tent for thru hiking say the Appalachian trail due to weight, but if car camping, short hike, or winter camping in snow this tent is probably a good choice. Also note that you don't have to take all of the tent out with you. You could leave the inner bug net and stove at home (if you had purchased those), and you can use trekking poles you are already bringing instead of a special center pole to save weight. Setup isn't hard, though like any other tent you want to put it up and take it down a few times before the trip.
You need to do a better job editing out those ummms. You are just lowering them rather than silencing them which is even more annoying.
Dude should leave them in.. ummm.. it's his personality after all!.
