However, when I mention "Realistic" what I mean by that is a woman taking a man that she's both attracted to and can maintain a healthy friendship dynamic with. Any woman who is appreciative enough to recognize that kind of connection is hard to find in a man will not be settling because she's already got the foundation needed to take the relationship far.

Rico, what do you need or desire in an independent woman? What good does a woman who getting the bag do for you? Nothing! Women weren’t suppressed, women played their role and men played their role. It’s called masculinity and femininity. The push of feminism causing women to fight in the world with men like men to get the bag only make women more masculine. There is nothing wrong with a woman being productive in her life. But a successful man or hunter doesn’t need a woman who is a successful hunter as well. If both are hunting then what? The man brings home the food, she cooks it, the man builds the house, she makes it a home, the man plants the seed she produces a baby. That is the nature of man and woman and when you change it like our generation the relationship word becomes chaos and unsuccessful as it has become. A women shouldn’t be hunting but she can help her husband be a better hunter. She can help her husband a better businessman or whatever he does to make him more successful. Your wife should never have to work for another man, or be on her own competing with men.

Listen, Any truly independent Woman should understand a Man's independence at least on a surface level because she is experiencing a similar path and executing to reach a certain level herself from the work schedule and grind to providing for self but growing yourself, growing within you're respective career, making the money you want and need and also making yourself desirable to an interested party you would think would all boil down to surface level understanding.
The sad part is... it's not. Too often Women walk into relationships thinking about all the Wants, Needs, Desires and Requirements "She" has, that she looks at the guy she is willing to interact with, seems what he looks like, wears etc and suddenly equates that to being what she deserves and does not care how those things are acquired as long as she gets what she deserves!!
Too often do we read, hear about relationships where Women complain about not taking frequent trips, not receiving many or multiple gifts, expensive outings in general or just being flat out bored with a guy all because she never took into consideration how the Man of interest acquired the Money to make himself desirable to her and she never cared to figure out how she would or would not fit into that equation.
The problem in the Modern realm of dating isn't necessarily her "being" independent, it's when her independence then becomes the following things:
1.) A Bragging right, Instrument of control
2.) His responsibility to maintain (because they are dating or have a "Title" relationship)
3.) Role reversal and misplacement
4.) Partial, aided by multiple entities other than her own majorly
Re-Read what I posted up above, the first response the average Woman would give I'm almost certain would be something along the lines of:
"Well if he doesn't have the time for her, he shouldn't be with her, either he needs to CHANGE certain aspects of his lifestyle to make do and show he cares, or he should leave her alone"
There is a consistent pattern of non accountability for Women who don't care to learn what things cost, not care about saving, investing or anything of that nature especially when studies have shown Women control slightly above 70% of the spending in America, so if they are spending so much you'd think they would in turn understand what it also takes to earn it and what it means to spend and ultimately lose what you've earned
As person who worked in child care with all boys before, trust she is very wrong on the fact that women aren’t putting their kids up for adoption. Some women are getting their kids taken from them because they were unfit to be mothers.

I know that practices are different today, but in those days when things were brought into the home, it was a higher probability that it began with the patriarch because he was the one actually OUTSIDE the house as he pleased.
