- This is a 45 minute yoga conditioning class focussed on strengthening and toning your upper & lower body. Equal parts legs, arms and abdominal core. It builds slowly. I gradually broke a sweat! Variations / moditifications offered throughout.

Lol!!! I did have more planned but when I was filming it, I was hoping it was nearly finished! Glad you made it through! The other yoga conditioning/ cardio is a bit tougher... and same thing.... completely sick of voice toward the end when filming. There’s some great upper body and ab work in there! Two Birds Yoga I like tough! I try to alternate my workouts as I do yoga daily: a nice quick 10-20 one in the morning and 45-60 in the afternoon. Medium paced vinyasa flows are my favourite though! 😊

Dear Fiona, greetings from the United States! Your videos have been a lifeline for me and my partner during this past year. We've been doing them just about every day. We're both academics, teaching, researching, and writing at home, so that means a lot of sitting! To that end, we thought we'd take you up on your offer to request a video, and ask if you would maybe come up with some sequences for folks like us who spend most of their day seated? I was listening to a podcast the other day suggesting that our ‘move’ time each day for most people is less than 10 % ... no wonder we’re all stiffening up. Would you consider doing some peak pose classes in future? Like a sequence for Hanumanasana, bird of paradise, Ashtavakrasana, etc. I've tried them over the years and then just about given up. Your videos are reviving my interest in working on them again.

Hey there Stephanie :-) glad you enjoyed this class! This class is on the stronger end of the spectrum for sure. If you’re looking to gain better bilateral balance in your legs... and in particular hamstrings... and glutes... is this because you have back pain? I’m only saying this because oftentimes, low back pain can stem from an imbalance of muscles strength front to back body and building strength in your core, glutes and hamis can help. In any case, I have quite a few classes that include this focus. There’s another couple of yoga conditioning class along with functional core strengthening ones. I’ll send you a playlist. I also must say I think pilates is so helpful as well. I’ll send you a link to a class I did on UA-cam yesterday. 18 min burner for the legs... but totally efficient and doable xx take care, thanks for practicing with me xx Fi

Two Birds Yoga hi! I had reconstructive hip surgery about 2 years ago so I am still building muscle tone. I do not have back pain or anything. My glutes and hamstrings are what need need to be strengthened the most though.
I’ve been consistently doing your yoga flows (usually 45- 60 minute ones) for about a year now so I am getting much stronger!!

Stephanie Fletcher oh I see x good job keeping up your practice! The yoga conditioning class for hips core and buttocks is a good one then if you haven’t done it. And my latest 30 min continuous flow has some good work for hamis and glutes x 🙏

I also wanted to ask for some advice: I feel a lot of tension in my neck, especially if I have to keep my head lifted during core work.
Is there anything I can do to support the movement and strengthen that area?
Oh awesome. Love that you love the conditioning class x I’ve actually just published a new 60 min flow. I’d call it a beginner conditioning class. It has some nice creative movement and a few challenge moments - not as intense as my other two but different and fun x now.... your neck... this is quite common whilst doing ab exercises. Concentrating on your form and trying to avoid putting your neck in deep flexion will help - eyes up, move slower to maintain your integrity and the more you practice your neck muscles will strengthen x fi
