- Hello Darlings! This weeks video is all about the Edwardian Hair and Makeup of the iconic Gibson Girl!
I found this hairstyle worked best with only shampooed hair (no conditioner) so it wasn't slippery and smooth. This hairstyle can also easily be done without curling it beforehand.

My grandma is 86 years old and has done this hairstyle every day my whole life. I think I have only seen her with her hair down one time in the morning. This was really fun watching you create this look and make me think of my grandma. Thank you!

There many ways to pin up your hair and it looks amazing in all women if you frame the hair fronts and I’ll back the sides the right way for your head/face/size of chin/neck.

I believe this was mostly an American phenomenon, not sure if it hit the UK.
It is fairly amazing you accomplished this on your own as most single women lived together in boarding houses, thereby eliminating the need for a 'girl' to dress you for the day.
