very detailed! thank you so much! got a super racer a couple weeks ago and i had so much filament around the nozzle and heatbed , lucky me and had new parts i could replace with! great video!
i was also thinking, before my nozzle was flat against the heatblock, and was leveled after that, now when i move the nozzle out a bit and assemble the way it should, is it gonna touch the hreatbed? That's what im scared about now.@@dennisgignac5103
Great video, thank you. I notice that if I screw the nozzle and throat only part-way into the heat block like you said, the nozzle is able to spin freely and looks unstable to me. Is this normal? Maybe when the printer is turned on, the heat will cause the nozzle to expand and sit firmly in the heat block?
@@dennisgignac5103 Thank you for the reply. It seems my issue was that the nozzle and throat I’m using have threads that run over a different distance than the threads on your nozzle and throat, so the ‘one thread’ rule wasn’t relevant/accurate in my case. Followed what you said here and all is well. Thanks!
Your videos have been such a tremendous help for a 3D printing newcomer and I even created my own playlist of your SR maintenance videos! I am curious though - what nozzles do you use for your SR? I'm running through some maintenance after some wonky prints and it got me thinking about just getting some extras while I'm ordering more grease and filament. Do you use straight FLsun factory nozzles or is there an aftermarket nozzle you like more? Advantages/disadvantages on different bore diameters or materials like stainless steel?

Dennis - great video again! Your videos really helped me with setup and calibration on my new SR. I'm struggling with both clogs and nozzles wearing out though. I have about 400hrs on my SR so far. I have changed nozzles four times already. Each one (.4mm) showed enough wear. I am printing only PLA (no abrasive materials). It's only been flat black/white or a silk. Just seems like I'm wearing through nozzles way to fast. I can confirm one nozzle drug across the bed, but none of the others have. 99% sure of that. For the life of me I can't figure out why i'm getting clogs or wearing these things out so often!

Nice video Denis. I learn a lot with it. But I have a problem😢, I cleaned very well the Nozel and the throat too. But unlike you, I have left a filament in that area before the throat and I have no idea how to get it out.
Hey Dennis, thank you for all your videos, I've found them very helpful. I was wondering if you could share how you remove the normal supports from items printed with your FLSUN products? I have an okay time removing tree supports but i often break my models when trying to remove the vertical supports. Also, if you could share your slicer settings for the SuperRacer that would be much appreciated!
Hello, I have SR with 210 h of works I notice that filament from nozel start to drop out like is melt to much and smell like is burning the plastic. Is it symthoms of clocked Effector?
What is the reason for only putting the nozzle and throat in but leave 1 thread out because the printer comes with it all the way in please reply i need to know

@@dennisgignac5103 I don’t know how to send pictures on UA-cam. What support settings do you recommend for the SR? Very thorough explanation on how to rebuild the effector assembly, thank you so much!

The nozzol has to be tight against the throat. Make sure the space between the nozzle and the heat block is about the distance as shown...

Hello Dennis. FLSUN has a new throat, and in this new, PTE tube can't go inside the throat. Can you make a video with this new feature? Thanks
You are correct. It simply sits tight against the top…

Hi dennis, what do you think about installing the v400 effector/hotend on a sr to make this last one on direct configuration?
Well, it will take many modifications. Some people have spoken of this here:
facebook.com/groups/336951057403890
whats the ptfe length you have measured
The SR PTFE tube is 565mm long.
Hey Dennis, i have a couple of questions, is it possible to reach out to you?
Yes indeed...
You can reach me on Facebook. Just look for:

Whats the size of the nozzle?
