Thanks Dennis, one of my arms was was binding up, i cleaned the rails with WD40 first, then used your grease method, works perfectly but when i tighten the belt the arm starts to become harder to move... I checked that everything flows well. Little puzzled :-)
Thanks for the explanation. Videos like this are needed to help all new SR fans. What type of grease do you recommend to use. I have the original tube supplied by FLSUN but there are no references on their web page, manual or the tube I have as to what they recommend. Seems like a pretty basic thing they should post. Thanks again.
Good Day Dennis, Thank you for your videos. They have been most helpful. Would you please provide a link for the syringe and the syringe connector that you found on Amazon? I wish to purchase them. Thank you. Best Regards!
In THEORY, it's great. In actual practice? Never get the same readings twice in a row. Tightening the lock screws changes it 5-25 hz. Gave up after an hour.
I use this: www.amazon.com/Lucas-Oil-10533-Lithium-Grease/dp/B004X70LZA/ref=sr_1_3?crid=KZAG8LX1X0AG&keywords=lithium+grease&qid=1673236086&sprefix=lithium+greas%2Caps%2C90&sr=8-3
What happens if you don’t tune these belts? I’m asking because I’m having the same exactly issues with all 3 of my Super Racers but at different print times. I’m having globing and string at around 7-8 inches high off the build plate (to the paint if failure). But the base of the print is alway good. Any advice?
When installing the thumb screw on the side of the extruder, how tight to you make it? Do you run it all the way in? I think mine was about 1 full turn from tight.
Thanks for the videos Can you help me with the firmware update I did everything you said and it doesn't do anything on either of my super racers. Thanks Dave
@Dennis Gignac Thank you so much. It ended up being me and my computer. But I took care of both of them. Do you have any luck with supports? They drive me crazy. I'm learning Thank you again

Thank you for your videos! You are the only one that clearly explains all this without all the fluff or extra confusion. 👍

I wonder how they expected us to grease the bearings and rails with the provided lube tube.
Ho Dennis, how can I tell when it's time to replace the belts? mine has 3000 hours
In THEORY, it's great. In actual practice? Never get the same readings twice in a row. Tightening the lock screws changes it 5-25 hz. Gave up after an hour.

Someone on a forum said to tune the strings to a 60hz tone using a guitar tuner lol. I don't own the printer can't confirm.
GRAZIE MILLE PER IL VIDEO. POTREI AVERE IL LINK PER ACQUISTARE LA SIRINGA PER METTERE IL GRASSO ?
My SR does not have red covers on the rail glide I can't see a hole to add grease.
2023 model
It appears there is no hole where I can inject grease. Unless they were installed upside down by Flsun
There is no holes. Just do it like my video shows...
@@dennisgignac5103 i git super racer a month ago just doing what i see on video but i have to holes either

Do you have any luck with supports? They drive me crazy.
I'm learning
Thank you again
And I just noticed since the updates the fans aren't kicking on as much or at all.
Have you noticed that?
Can I use the grease that came with the printer or should I buy the one you used?
You can use that one and later on you can get some white lithium grease.
@@dennisgignac5103 I see, thank you so much!
