@@FrenchFarmhouseDiaries I found your channel also from "Escape to the dream".I like to follow-up all your challenges .Greetings from the Netherlands. 🤗😊🤗
I too have come over from The Chateau and subscribed. I just love this kind of stuff and looking forward to you two bringing this property back to life. I've already learned how to lime point a stone wall and drive a mini digger 😄
Also found you through "Escape..." and I'm so excited to see what you do. The lavender fields you are planning sounds fabulous. Good luck to you both and fingers crossed for a huge success in your adventure.
Hi loving your blogs and tutorials, can you take us on a tour of your house please, it would be great to see before and then afterwards as the work gets done, thanks x
When I saw you on "Escape to the Dream", I immediately opened another UA-cam Channel to look you up. I can't wait to share your channel with my husband who is a "Brit". He bought our property 30 years ago, which was also an old French Farm House right on the border of Pays de la Loire and Normandy. We will really enjoy following you guys on your adventures! All the best to you.
Also found your channel thru 'Escape to the Dream'. Be sure to number your videos guys as smart t.v. does not always bring up past videos chronological videos. Thank you for taking us along on your adventure. Can't wait! Wishing you tremendous success! ❤️🇨🇦 Mariya P.S. curious to know far you are away from Tracy, Tony, Terry, Ash & Jonathon? Looking forward to your Olde School resto projects and very much to the joinery. Bonne chance and congratulations on your new life in France. Love the Holstein Ladies and glimpses of French rural life!
I also came here straight from Escape to the dream. Hope Terry and Ash help you become experts at vlogging soon😃 so we can enjoy your adventures even better🌺
You are a lovely couple and thank you for taking us along this journey with you.....I really enjoy DIY vlogs as it is enjoyable to see old building coming back to life and all the amazing work that goes into it. Good for you Tracy learning to use the digger!! Well done! Thanks from Canada!!
I have come over from the boys so looking forward to this. Looking forward to seeing your knitting and craft work and how you get on. Won’t be watching if it’s shooting animals though. Well done Tracy with the digger 🤭
Hi guys looking forward to watching your channel , I've been following 'escape to the dream' channel and can't wait to see your renovation. This is my dream too. Best of luck from Ireland 🥰
I think I've just watched 100 people subscribe...Congrats - you are on you way. This was a great vlog 1) We got to know you and your interests 2) We learned how to operate a digger 3) we saw a project started and completed and all in 14 minutes. 👍👍👍 It might have been good practice for Tracy to drive the digger back and forth compressing the driveway.
Hi Guys, please can i ask what paperwork requirements you needed to get your digger into france? bought a farm in lower normandy ! but i need my digger!! advice will be very helpful TIA
Hi Gary I bought mine over before the dead line for brexit on my trailer it's just for working on our land for us so I'm sorry mate but I wouldn't have a clue how you would go about it now as things have changed since then all the best Budo 👍
Wow. I’m glad I found you guys. I saw you over at Terry and Ash and had forgotten to check you out. Now I found you I’ll be watching. Congrats on your farmhouse. I think you guys are so adorable. Look forward to your vlogs. Ty for sharing
Good to catch up with your vlog, we are swallows so only part-time en France, we have been pierre apparente-ing and next job is to lay tomettes, so hope to pick up some tips ...
Hello from the 🇺🇸!! What a lovely couple you make! I'm enjoying your videos. Nice work Tracy!! How many buildings do you have on the property? Do you know what they were used for? They have come a long way with bee keeping hives as well. Didn't know if you knew that or not. They have ones that you can turn a knob and have the honey come out of a spout without disturbing the bees... Best wishes!! See you in the next!!
Hi Judith thank you for your kind words we have five buildings all together two are in derelict state and the main farm house needs renovation that we are in the process of doing we are not getting any trades in to do work as i am a carpenter and joiner and have a wide knowledge of many trades so we will be doing all the work ourselves i am helping and teaching Tracy how to do many jobs which she is very excited about we are going to document the whole process on UA-cam we have been documenting our journey on Instagram for the past couple of months any way we are very glad to have you on board following our journey all the best Budo
So, I'm a little confused (not hard to do, I admit). In the Escape to the Dream episode, Terry called you Hans but Tracy calls you Bouda. How would you like your subscribers to refer to you?
@@FrenchFarmhouseDiaries : No issue at all, Hans. Thanks for explaining, much appreciated, Sir. Cant wait to see what you and Tracy get up to next, assuming you haven't been run over by a rogue digger operator. :-)
Found your channel by searching for French cottages, as i'm totally interested in some day purchasing a do-er upper in Lower Normandy/Mayenne areas ( it has to be cheap lol) to actually live in, not just a holiday home.. Am loving your explanations, in the language/way you do it. Keep it up please.
