Tracy has her beautiful lavender fields and kitchen and Budo will have a new workshop. I really can't think of anyone more deserving of a spacious, stone workshop than a master craftsman such as you Budo. I'm sure it will be both an efficient design and aesthetic marvel. Your property is becoming a monument to a lifetime of developing exemplary skills. So well done by both of you.

Brilliant job and brilliant plan to get the barn in tip top shape for the work shop. I think it might be safer to wear a construction helmet though! Tracey, you do not want a concussion!😊

Great vlog as always you too. Interesting about the wall tilting Budo. Just thinking out loud, it will be interesting to see how far the roots of the trees go towards the wall close to where the door was to go. They are young trees and the roots will be spreading and thickening. It will be good to see what you find when you excavate the rest of the trench. Just a thought, but very watchable seeing what your doing. Stay well and dry you two.

Hi Dave yes the tree roots are a concern but we will be over time clearing them away as we go buddy thank you for your comment

Wow, all your projects are interesting but this one is fascinating! You're both full of heart for it and it will be great. What a job getting that ivy down! And Budo thank you for the barn cross section drawing and explanation of the bowing, and also of the installation of the door in the new site on the gable end. So interesting, bonne chance, guys.

Thank you for the great explanation about the barn wall bowing and the need to move the new doors to the sidehow you are protecting and holding up the area above what will be the new doorway. I am disoriented as to where the original barn doors are, could you remind us next time, please. Tracy works well with you Budo and I admire her versatility to put her had to anything you ask of her. She is such a trooper. Both of you stay safe and well.

Budo i was thinking about the holes in the cable ends, if this was a barn and they stored hay up in the loft wouldn't there be a need for ventilation, so the hay wouldn't get to hot and catch fire just a though. Buy the way love your vlogs ..

I visit Amsterdam regularly and it's amazing what stays standing under enormous pressure. Lots of the buildings there are completely buckled but still used as restaurants and apartments. 😅 Your barn will be fine with some adjustments.

Hi guys, I’ve been following your journey for some time & you’re making great progress. Just a thought though, I cannot seem to find a video with your work condensed into one video. Many of the folks doing what you are doing put out a longer video with everything in it, sort of two or three years in one hit….they also seem to get many more hits than the weekly average, perhaps ten times etc. would love to see such a video (unless I just cannot find it!) and I’m sure it will turbo charge your subscriber numbers! Keep smiling, all the best Mike and Tracy in Devon.
