Hi country Jerry we are currently on Instagram and posting regularly we cant do UA-cam just yet as our internet is appalling as is most of rural france but soon as we get fibre as promised we will post up tonnes thanks for your lovely comment 😉🥰
I think you have a great looking farm home and looking forward to following you both through your restoration journey. Those brambles look endless. Lots of work.
You certainly have a lot of work ahead but no doubt with your background as a joiner you’ll be making short shrift of it. Wishing you great success as you proceed toward “ the finish line!” … from PA, USA.
Just learned about your channel from Terry and Ash, can’t wait to see all your work and all the things I’ve done I’m doing a little bit of Binge watching.
Lovely aspect, what a great “neighborhood.” How long had the house been unoccupied? Have you been able to find out it’s history for the last 50 or so years?
Between 20-30 years. No not yet but we will be speaking to our local mairie very soon as they hold alot of information regarding properties in there archives
Hi, I can't wait to see how you fix things up! I'm a new subscriber. We bought a cottage in the Scottish borders and we're doing tons of garden type work and I'm trying to video tape and share on UA-cam also, just here and there for now. The brown 'ferns' you have are Bracken if that helps, they like acedic soil, does lavender? I wish we had woods like you!
Wow! You have a sizeable property it’s a lot of clearing and what not, but I can see your vision. I love lavender so I’m looking forward to you planting that one day.
I've noticed that other chateaux are using what looks like a double headed flame thrower to get the roots gone on their outside walls after they clear them of growth.
Nice one. A little word of advice. Be careful giving too much access to your land to a farmer. I know of people who have let their land be used and when they want it back there's a drama. Cracking start to the vlog series. I'm looking forward to the rest. Subscribed.
I’m new to your channel and looking forward to a beautiful lavender field. So excited to binge watch and see how much you have accomplished. I’m from Florida USA so I’m not very familiar with the brambles that over take the landscape. Are they blackberries. We definitely deal with overgrown ivy and wisteria. Our brick/wood homes cannot withstand invasive growth on homes so they are not loved as much here. I spent 5 years trying unsuccessfully trying to kill it of but in the end we just try to keep it pruned back as much as possible. The ivy here strangle out our trees which make them very dangerous during hurricane season so they to are harmful to most of the homesteads here. I’m looking for to see how you banish the brambles 😀
Such an interesting land holding. Beautiful place to live. Look at it now
It really is! Jean thank you for watching 🎃🍂☺️
Just came across you channel and I am starting from the beginning of You Project.
Hi Roland hope you enjoy and glad you are on board 🍺🤠👍🏻
@@FrenchFarmhouseDiaries I like how you use the term plumb instead of level which drives me mad. I live in Morbihan, Brittany
Have you thought of using the barn as your workshop? As it is away from the house, you can make all the noise you like. 😊
What a great project, wishing you both the very best. can't wait to see more !

It appears that you will need to add forest management to your chores. Hopefully not all the fruit trees are dead and can provide you with some food.
