I once did this a approach at a right hand side window seat of a Boeing 767-300. Got the impression the right wingtip was almost scratching the tree tops at the right turn down into the valley on final.
Okay, I'll realized, that's not my error to hear the barking bob on the final about terrain in the end of 180°. So, that is the circle to land procedure to RW 08. How many hours required to land successfully for me in simulator?
You can feed the packs with APU bleed which decreases the load on the engines just like in your car when you turn off the AC and get a little bit more power. I guess they do it to have an improves climb gradient in case of go around or terrain escape maneuver.
Very short turnaround time/Taxiing to the ramp is literally a minute so having the APU already on when you're there makes life easier/Fresh air for the cabin for on the ramp
I have flown this to RW 26 and did a go around in x-Plane 11 B737-800 with no first officer. It takes a bit of concentration, altitude, speed and direction. You keep busy.
Great landing with a stunning background
Circling RWY08. Great video!!
Thanks!

That was a "30" degree bank and still there was an overshoot! Tough turn, with a wind much worse!
The most incredible landing I've seen yet! Bravo!
That is truly awesome, very good coverage of landing, WOW what a wicked approach, great job 👍✈✈
Nice
Bravo !! Approach and landing 08 perfect ..
Wow, that bank angle, and almost perfect line up ..
The infamous RW08 circle to land, awesome catch! Superb filming!
Not correct. This was a landing on RW 08
you know that the approach is dangerous when the cockpit guy gets scared and starts talking about terrain ahead
robo-voice.
Did you recored this? Amazing 😍
Amazing views and approach.
BEAUTIFUL!

Make me recall landing on Kai Tak as UA-cam viewer
why the APU was already on ?
i think in case of engine failure, you have a seconde power and bleed air supply.

@@dutchlogitechclan Yes, this is the correct explanation.
@@FTStratLP that's wrong, the apu is for bleed supply or the other option would be a packs-off approach.

This approach was is flown to RW 08 not RW 26.
Why is the apu on
