Great video ! Specifically what color blue Rustoleum and what color white did you use ?
The blue is "Deep Blue" Rustoleum 2X, and the white I used is a custom color match from Home Depot, the code for that is "MQ320"
@@nelsonhobbiesrc7720 Thank you !
Does Callie Graphics give you the windows too?
What did you do to keep the base factory white from peeling out when pulling the masking tape out ?
NICE😮👍job
Where did you get the plain ... place 🙏??
Think the only place to get it is through motionRC, they’re awesome! www.motionrc.com
Did you prepare the foam or just painted on top of it as it came?
I didn’t really do anything to prepare/coat the foam before painting, but I was very careful not to spray from too closely. My understanding is that the propellant for the spray paint can eat the foam, but as long as you spray from around a foot away it should be fine.
Can always test on a random spare piece of foam top
Im having mine custom painted by Just Plane Crazy. He is doing mine up in the Avengers paint scheme its going to be a masterpiece once done. I like how you showed the paint and build.
That sounds like it'll be pretty awesome for sure!
Is there some reason why that paint did not attack the foam? I bought some today and tried it on a foam piece I had laying around and it attacked it right away.
From what I've heard, the paint itself is totally fine to use with foam, it's mostly the accelerant in the spray paint that can damage it. So as a rule of thumb, try to keep the can/nozzle like a foot or so away from the foam as you're painting. Maybe try testing again from a bit further away?
@@nelsonhobbiesrc7720 We will give that a try.........on another scrap piece of foam :)
where did you get graphics for delta?
Graphics are from Callie Graphics: callie-graphics.com/
Super easy and awesome to work with, and they look amazing. They're the go-to it seems like for custom vinyl decals, highly recommended.
i don't see any Delta decals at they're website. did they get rid of them?@@nelsonhobbiesrc7720
This is your handmade plane??
So the plane itself is made by the brand Freewing, the version I got is PNP but completely white/blank on the outside. So I definitely didn’t make the plane, but did all the custom painting and decals to make it look like a Delta plane!
