It is absolutely gorgeous! Nice model. Since it arrived pre-built it can’t actually be nose heavy can it? Might just appear that way trying to observe from a video. My plane has a high wing and I’m a rookie but when trimmed it will fly level easily. It might be that being advanced you are giving it down during the flight but I kept expecting the crash much sooner (when mine dives like that an explosion of foam follows). I would check the cg and trim. Also, that was just a hard landing…. Glue and go! I liked the cool aerobatics!

It needs a gyro it's flying really light Don't feel bad ,I have tons of experience. I flew the same plane and was not expecting the amount of torque from the prop I ended up crashing mine at take off , it was carnage so I bought another one and this time I'm using a gyro for some help on take offs.

I used 2 3/8th carbon fiber tubes to reenforce the fuselage by inserting 1 on each side into the fuselage by 4 inches and glued

What motor and prop did you use for this build?

Sounds like the motor mount is not very stiff and at higher power settings, the motor is vibrating badly.

What was the cause of the crash. Kind of looked like a loss of connection between the Transmitter and the Airplane. Or maybe Battery failer.

I have one of these planes, it's one of my most challenging planes to fly.

wow! so nice to see someone flying an RC plane in a scale fashion, most youtubers are just in wide open throttle the whole time and in "RC car mode" trying to do things the real plane would never do. your flying looked so great in this vid!

i have the same jets, you should swap out the wheels for rubbers they perform a lot better.

Picked up one of these kits on sale at Hobby Lobby for $5 several months back. Finally put it together last week and am looking at taking it out. Nice area to launch it compared to the hilly areas and ranch lands I got to negotiate out here in eastern NM/West TX.

Hey bud, do you think that the landing gear could be swapped out for gear that has struts with suspension? Does it look like it could be done easily to you? Thanks and sorry about your crash. Been there done that too! LOL

Hi - nice maiden and follow up flights. What CG did you end up with? On the first landing it was nose heavy so you probably did not have enough elevator pitch and landed on nose wheel. I had that happen to me. I just want to compare notes on CG and what you ended up having to regain elevator control.

not sure if you did but try a rx with stablization like a lemon rx plus. that helps a lot in windy conditions

That is a TAIL Heavy plane. Im running a 4 Cell 3200 and with the battery crammed as far forward is I could get my balance is at the aft limit for the plane. I believe the manual is wrong. :)
