This video was defiantly really interesting to make, I experimented with different styles and the video as a whole is a bit more slower paced than usual, so I would appreciate any feedback or criticism you guys might have :) Also- what should I make next??
Bro, your bits you come up with are so insane. Your ESC journey, to then accidentally "going too far" bit with all the old timey shit... priceless. You are insanely creative and an awesome storyteller. Keep it up, please!
Thing with Oppenheimer was that it didn't hold hand of the viewer. And the three different timelines. Which can be complicated the the average Joe. So it's understandable 😉
I’m genuinely impressed to see you using a flight simulator to practice flying. It’s not something a lot of UA-camrs show, and it’s refreshing to see you go the extra mile to share your preparation process. The cinematics were stunning, the storytelling was on point, and the editing was absolutely top-notch. Amazing work!
@@puzzLEGO thanks!! You're right, I know some of the things I did wrong this time so I'll try my best to fix them next video... worst case scenario at least this was a good learning experience
The quality & amount of sponsorship this guy receives while just having 54k subs on this channel proves the level of quality content he is producing. The sponsors want to jump on the bandwagon of reaching a mass audience later as he produces evergreen content that's going to get views years later when the channel blows up. & I don't think it's going to take much time. This guy is a genius.
im so happy that this popped up on my fyp as its so inspiring watching a person experiencing new things and learning all while telling a story through his experience . youre honestly an inspiration to me as it feels like youre truly free , being able to try things and make it happen though it might seem so daunting .so thank you wishing you and your friends the best in all that you do you all are going be great
Respect Bro!!! No words you presentation, Storytelling, Editing, It fells like i'm watching a movie and you form a real connection with the audience to make them feel the frustration and hard work, just have no words bro such a masterpiece.
A good tip that was given to me was to let the plane fly itself. You don’t need to constantly give control inputs, as the plane is stable itself. You would basically just be correcting it.
Nice video. The plane flew surprisingly well. Your humour, storytelling and editing are all getting better with each video. It's fun to watch your progress.
This is a fantastic video. The editing, the story, the content, all of it was just incredibly well done. Great job to you and anyone else that helped make it possible.
No criticism. You were trying to learn how to drive in a dragster. Try a slower design……..maybe with just two or three channels……and learn to fly. It’s not the build that got ya……that was a great success. Don’t give up……….go right back in. Just dial it down a little………
First time I see an inventor and a film director in the same video 🥳 it’s so cool, it’s look like a real cinema movie 🍿 the voice over, the way it has been film, the music, it’s magic ! I’m making my own rc plane, a mirage 2000. Thanks for the video 🙃
this only the second video i've watched of this guy and i've confirmed he has done things i've wanted to do as a kid! AND HE HAS IMPECCABLE MUSIC TASTE which is what is in my liked playlist! KUDOS!
You did really great flying a spitfire as a first plane. Not at all a beginner's plane. Just a note in case you build and fly more...Never put foil on a model plane, it can easily shield the receiver from the transmitter's signal causing a crash. Try again with a high wing slow flier and you will have much more success. Again, great job!
FT Spitfire? First plane ever built is a master series aircraft? FSI6X controller? Picasim is how you train? I’m only 8 and a half minutes in. And I’m a big fan.
Congratulations for building the plane, but I was very impressed by the video presentation. You're an artist at the beginning of your path to success! Good luck!
God damn bruh that is one hell of a storyline! and editing! + one heck of an engineering! Kudos to you bro! I am lucky to have found your channel. I see you working for huge aerospace company someday. All the best of luck!
Dude coming from the rc plane world nice to meet you, loved the video and the overall production, amateur yet smart and sophisticated, I congratulate you and push you to move forward, would love to see the rest of your work, you have a new follower ✊
when I was in school, I also built one. you were struggling with flying it stably I also faced the same problem but there is a quick solution if you add a FPV camera, you can control it lot better then now! and if you want more stability , you can add flight controller APM 2.8 that thing make it a lot great! but dude, making are brain the flight controller is the real kick!
I think that you should add a few more degrees of dihedral angle on your wings to increase stability. You could also add a flight computer to your plane to make it easier to fly. Since you are already familiar with flite test a great pick for a flight computer would be one from the FT Aura series. Don't forget to always check on the center of gravity after every change to your plane especially after changing a heavy electronic like the motor or the battery.
I grew up with planes long before flight controllers and multirotors ( drones ) were a thing. It's nice to see you giving it a go, I found spitfires like to be nose heavy, I am pretty sure you had the cog too far back for it to be stable, A plane usually likes to be balanced at 1/3 from leading edge for initial flight at least but the spitfire is more like 20 to 25% but it will vary depending on a lot of other factors in the wing design.
Bro i have the exact same watch, but the silver is navy this rc plane sim, brings back so much memories, LIKE I USED TO PLAY THAT WHEN I WAS A KID AND KEPT CRASHING... thats wild to see that
Your a pretty good pilot and story teller! My first plane somehow went directly into the ground at full speed( i lost orientation after i accidentally flew in front of the sun) the thing literally split in half, but eith about a gallon of glue i got it together and it still somehow flies, anyways, great video dude
I know I’m quite late to the party but I really hope you are storing those batteries safely. Also you should always charge them in a non flammable area as charging is one of the most dangerous times for a LiPo battery. If you haven’t seen videos of these types of batteries blowing up you should. Also get a good Lipo safe bag if you are going to keep the battery. I recommend the Hobbymate Lipo safe guard bag, it can contain a battery much larger than the one you were using exploding without letting out any flames.
Great video. You should build a high-wing model as they are much easier to fly and fly much slower so you can get more practice in and you will have much more room for errors. The storytelling was incredible.
I adore this video, it's cinematicness is insane, you definitely know how to build up tension and release it at the correct time but you should work on your audio mixing
@@ibuildstuff take this with a grain of salt, I tend to be quite sensitive to any sound issues After rewatching the video I can tell you that -around the outro the music was way too loud -you should try out de-essing (this is most likely biased since I'm super sensitive to ssssss type sounds) -Your mic has inconsistent volume across different parts (simple fix by normalizing or using a compressor) -you could try experimenting with equalizers and lowering the lower highs and turning up low mids for a really crispy and low sound Hope this helps, love your videos btw :]

Honestly I really like this new video style! Much more cinematic and interesting.
It was good but maybe a bit to much. Keep the new style but be a little bit less dramatic. Still an amazing video tho!
pleasee make more rc stuff youre so talented
bro this video is amezing very good job 😄
It's basically the best video I've ever seen
Top notch storytelling and editing. It's already reaching cinematic level my friend. Amazing !

You could make a video showing how paint dries, with your editing and storytelling I would watch it.
haha maybe...
Haven’t even finished the video and I’m 100% sure this is better than Oppenheimer and Barbie
Hold on, Oppenheimer I can agree to a certain extent but Barbie! 😲😳⚠️😁
Oppenheimer was a little disappointing. I seriously doubt I'll be seeing Barbie. 😁
Agree! This one is the best.
Quarter way through, subscribed! Brilliant.
Thing with Oppenheimer was that it didn't hold hand of the viewer. And the three different timelines. Which can be complicated the the average Joe. So it's understandable 😉
This felt like a short film! Very well edited! Great video keep up the great work!

That's assuming the model has been properly built, balanced, and trimmed. If not, it won't be stable in the slightest. LOL.
@@ibuildstuffa nother tip try adding some wheels so I can land without braking the Propeller
An awesome intro with great music; magnificent editing, great work and a true story of iteration. Congrats.

This is by far one of the most inspiring videos I've watched. Nice storytelling bro. I love your humor!!
truly inspiring for beginners with no experience and only reliant online. i like the part you took the ESC and go places with it, had me giggling
Haha thank you

I loved that tiny bit of aria math playing in the background, while you were talking about the paint.
felt like the song would match the vibe
An upward deflection on the elevator doesn't push the nose up, it pushes the tail down 😉
As someone who had built my fare share of Flight Test planes. I love them as the kits are like 20-30 bucks so you can easily rebuild it when you crash

respect for the amount of effort you put into your videos
